My father who is 89 was given a quote by another company to have a 2 ton AC put in $7900. ! They came out 3pm next day after my father 89 slept in at least 110degrees he has congestive heart failure breathing very heavy cotton mouth on his lips complaining he was "so thirsty!"showed on T stat 99degrees that is as high as the TStat would go up to but you go in his house for 5 minutes it was much hotter than that! My shirt was soaked in 5 minutes!! Cooling company showed up at 3pm the following day told him it would be $950 to change JUST THE FAN MOTOR THAT LETS ALL HOT AIR OUT OF CONDENSER! A $150 part took installer 20 min to change! Company told my Dad they will deduct the $950 if he paid $7900 (MyDads somehow persuaded them to go lower on price! To $7500"But if you change your mind by Friday when they were coming back to install new condenser 3 days after fixing it that he would still owe them $950!!! We talked to residents living here at Gold Canyon Rv Park the day they fixed it for $950 they were saying "way to much"!! We only payed around 4K for a 2.5 ton ! And 4 heat strips! They all said call Liberty my dad did he got a 3 ton for around $3700 might even be less than that with five heat strips a cover a new pad and a new programmable T stat!these guys go by the golden rule treat others like you want to be treated! Called other company to get some of his $$ back they absolutely ignore him! read more

I had four other companies out prior to them to have them look at my unit. Every single company tried to sell me a new unit ranging from $5000 - $14,000!!!!! Not one of them knew the year of my unit. Liberty Cooling and Heating came in took a look  told me the year of my unit (2000) and offered a solution to my problem and DIDN'T try to sell me a new unit. Out the door $350.00. They don't work on a commission like all of the other companies. They are honest and won't try to sell you something you don't need. I have referred them many times to have the same AWESOME service. I had them out this week as my air went out. They handled the problem immediately to make sure our family had cool air by this weekend. I can't THANK THEM ENOUGH for the AMAZING SERVICE they provided and the knowledgable technicians they have as well as staff that you call into. I am an out of state property owner and landlord. I received a message from an elderly tenant at 7 pm that her AC had stopped working earlier in the day and it was 91 degrees in the house. It is June and ALL AC Service providers were busy. I called Liberty that evening and left message of my situation. They said to call at 8:00am to see what could be arranged. When I called, my tenant was already scheduled for service at 9:00 am. The problem was a circuit breaker had flipped. The technician corrected the breaker, tightening the module and services cleaning the debris from the ground level AC and filter...all for just the one hour service fee. I live in Munds Park (20 miles south of Flagstaff). My Coleman Evon furnace wouldn't start--not good if you live, as I do, where it gets cold. I called the Coleman dealer in Flagstaff 28 times--he never returned my call. While trying to find a dealer I also discovered that my furnace needed factory updating. The Coleman web page listed Liberty as a dealer so I finally called them. They came up the day I called. Jonn S fixed the furnace and then updated it. Liberty Heating and Cooling isn' one of the companies that you hear about on the radio. They don't need to be as they have a loyal following. I have used them for 20 years at our home. Each spring I have them come out and "tune-up" my AC unit. They always go through it and inspect it and leave us a detailed report of the unit. But they don't stop there, they always check thermostat and ducts, to make sure heating and cooling are working at top form. Christian is always detailed and values customer service. The best part is they will follow-up on any issue you have following the inspection. read more

Our old A/C unit failed during a heat spell, of course. One call to Laura at Liberty and Timmy (service tech) was here in 2 hours. Got quotes for a new unit from Christian (Liberty) that was better than our others. Jacob and Cliff (installers) showed up at 7:30 the next day and we were up and running in 2 hours with a new unit. They even 'fine tuned' the air return registers and vents while they were here. Folks at the RV Park told us about Liberty and glad they did. I called Liberty as the company that I was working with will no longer work on manufactured homes. I ask them for a referral and they recommended Liberty. Sam came out and was very helpful. He took the time to listen to my description of what I had noticed. He then did a complete check of our system and let me know what was going on and what my options were. I have used "Liberty" 10 months ago when we moved into our home. There Tech Jason did arrive and repaired our unit quickly at a very fair cost. I did have an issue with our system this week and called back requesting Jason to evaluate. Jason arrived when promised and I was told that the part replaced last year was faulty and I was told that he replaced it at no cost for the part as it was under warranty.
