I have used this company twice under my home warranty, One Guard. The first time was after another company who scammed me out of a additional service call to replace a capacitor (which was bypassed on my system), and my blower motor went out 2 days later. I called a family friend to take a look, and he confirmed the capacitor didn't even need to be replaced. After getting my money back, and exposing them to One Guard, I demanded another company...and found Pro Solutions. They sent out a tech, confirmed the blower motor went out, and a week later, replaced it; we had to wait on the part. Now a few weeks ago I started to notice my system was running louder than usual, and the air wasn't as cold...so I called One Guard. They assigned me to another company and I demanded to be changed to Pro Solutions, as I had a good previous experience, and they were the last ones to work on my system. Upon the switch, I called and scheduled for the next day with Bill. He came out, tested the system, and verified that the blower motor was again failing, along with another part, and that the fan needed to be cleaned. The fan cleaning wasn't covered under warranty and cost $450, but the other parts and install were. I received a quote to replace the entire system automatically as Pro Solutions said they do that with any unit over 10 years old; I declined. They sent a tech a day or so later, but One Guard gave him the wrong part, so I had to wait another day (and get a hotel because the blower motor was out and making a loud noise) - listen to my video and if your system is EVER making this noise, shut it off before you cause more damage. The next day Bill was out, replaced the parts, cleaned my fan, and I was back in the saddle again! We purchased an HAVAC with a warranty from Pro Air Solutions. We chose them because they advertised they were family owned and had a 15 year warranty. We have found they overcharge and ALWAYS find something expensive to fix. They don't feel like a family owned business that cares about their customers. We were charged $600 for a job to clean the coils in our HVAC system. They said we couldn't do it ourselves and that it was a tedious and time consuming job that takes hours..... It took him less than 10 minutes, that is $3,600/hr. Since I signed a work order already to pay that amount, I had to pay. We have gone with another company that is more honest and affordable, that doesn't take advantage of the elderly. read more

Sadly, I am updating the review 10 years later. They told us to do duct cleaning which estimated more than $3000 and if we don't do it, they will put warranty on hold. We didn't do it as warranty expires in less than a few years. We then ask to go take a look at the A/C on our tenant property. They told our client we refuse to do the duct cleaning work and they charged us $275 to take a look at why air is not distributing correctly and has no solution. I emailed back what is the actual recommended solution and no reply. My tenant was not happy about the technician at all. She said he peaked his head to ceiling for a few minutes and left. My tenant wanted me to get $275 back but I just want to be done with this company. read more

I had originally used Pro Solutions Air to complete repairs on my furnaces and outside ac unit. The technician explained if I paid for a 5 year maintenance package for $500, all my repairs would be 20% off. I explained I might have a failing ac unit blower fan motor, but the tech said it was was in tolerance despite the ball bearings making loud squeaking noises. I spent well over $2000 on other issues between my two units. When I called the tech out again, they wanted to charge me more than other companies by over 25% even after their 20% discount at a later date to replace my blower fan. I was also told by the Pro Air Solutions tech that my compressor was failing on the one unit and they suggested a new system for $16000. I decided to use another business for my repairs and they were significantly lower in price and explained to me that my compressor was fine. Even if I needed a new heating and air whole system install would be $8000-$9000 according to a competitor. I am disappointed that I was likely overcharged by more than a thousand dollars for the prior repairs and service plan. read more

With the summer coming I asked Pro Solutions Air to do a summer checkup on my unit. After inspection of the unit there were issues that could cause a major breakdown in the near future if not addressed. The existing unit was 13 years old and undersized for the residence. I chose to have the system replaced with a 4 ton two stage unit which took less than a week to order and one full day for their technicians to install. I was extremely pleased with the overall install and the office keeping me updated with what to expect. There was never any pressure directed from their technicians but I was given straight answers to questions I had and couldn't be happier with the results of changing the old A/C unit out and now I have a 15 year warranty on this new unit. Pro Solutions Air called me to schedule the "free" yearly inspection which costs $10 for fuel. Wanted to charge $625 per unit for parts & filters before the visit. Measured current draw and the starting capacitor in the AC unit. All OK. Determined that the fan was dirty and it would be $495 per unit for the hour it will take to clean the fan. Way too quick to run up an estimate of $2000 for maintenance, filters, and light bulb. I will never call them again. read more

Can I leave six stars? These folks are great! We were looking to have our old insulation (cellulose circa 1979 probably) removed and new, fiberglass blown back in. We had gotten a quote from another company and they were a couple hundred more for less stuff. Between the other company and Pro Solutions, we had decided to have exhaust fans put in our two, upstairs bathrooms. So, Pro Solutions came in lower and the fans were added. They also put some roll style insulation up against the wall of the downstairs attic that abuts the stairs and guest room upstairs. What a difference in temp, no more heat wall when we go upstairs. These guys worked their butts off on the first two hottest days of the summer. Just amazing, all friendly guys that came out and the office folks are great to talk to. Just a pleasant experience. We're planning on having an on-demand water heater installed before winter and yep, we're calling Pro Solutions. When our ancient AC units meet their maker...yep, we're calling Pro Solutions. read more

Called Pro Solutions Air on Friday when our air conditioner stopped working, we where told it was probably the capacitor and it would be a service fee $ 95 and a diagnostic fee $ 95 . When the technician diagnosed it , it was in fact the capacitor that was faulty (parts under warranty from manufacturer). At this time the technician told me it would be $300 with parts. Once he completed the repair he told me it was going to be $395 and I would receive a receipt through e-mail . Talked with Pro Solutions today (Tuesday) to try and find out why the price kept going up, escalated into a yelling match , told them I was going to leave them a poor review on yelp and was promptly sent a text threatening legal action for any negative, blasphemy, and or defamation in regards to the company. This is a family owned company and I've used them for years. To be fair, I haven't done a price comparison in a long time. But when I was first looking for an AC company in AZ, these guys blew me away with their quote and their honesty. I called because I thought I needed a new unit and the owner, Don, actually talked me out of it, stating my old unit could last several more years. I hesitated (who wants to risk a broken AC unit in Phoenix?) so he convinced me by guaranteeing my old unit--one that he had nothing to do with--for 3 or 4 more years. lol. Who does that? It was insane, but I was hooked. Anyway, Don was right and the old unit lasted me a good while longer. Needless to say when I did finally have to replace it, I called Pro Solutions Air. I've been with them ever since. Brandon is my current technician and he's amazing. Pro Solutions guarantees their work and they stick by their warranty. Skilled, honest, reasonably priced work is a rarity these days and I'm so glad I found them. The only downside is that they are a small company and in summer months they're very busy and seem to triage customers based on the level of emergency, which is annoying if you aren't having an emergency, but it's great if you are! Literally worst company ever! No type of customer service and always get the "let me check on it and I'll call you back" with no call back ever! My AC broke 5/22 I called warranty and they sent Pro Solutions Air after I had to contact them to get my appointment scheduled they finally came out 5/27 get my A/C back and running everything is fine and dandy less than 24hrs later the A/C stops working again without even turning on at this point. I call Pro air solutions again and they said they will be back out until 6/2!!!! Finally they come and diagnose it and inform me that my warranty needs to order parts... I call my warranty 6/8 and no part has even been sent in to be ordered from them! I myself had to call in the part! long story short almost 3 weeks later from initial visit and I still have no AC! I call pro solutions and no call backs no resolution not even a "we can't get the part or we are too busy to accept your warranty job" I literally harass my warranty until they give Pro Air Solutions an ultimatum and of course they won't even call my warranty back. This is a joke of a company please save your money or if you have warranty save yourself the headache and don't let your warranty send them. Dec. 2014 i purchased a brand new 4 ton 13 seer a/c unit (Lennox) but the unit did not provide the appropriate heat. i contacted pro solutions air don (owner) & he was very understanding & very considerate regarding my problem. he came out & gave me a couple of options...i chose an option & component got installed...my problem got resolved. Since Dec. 2014 ive had several problems with my unit (i.e. no heat, blown fuse, and most recently again no heat). don (owner) has always been there to take my calls & always willing to educate me about my unit. im not, & cannot personally blame pro solutions air for the problems associated with my unit because i know they did not build it. but im very happy with pro air solutions service, & would highly recommend them to anyone. however, im very disappointed on how this new unit has performed thus far. Dec. 13, 2015 sunday morning it was very, very cold & my new lennox unit again was not generating any heat. so i contacted pro soluations air again & don was there to take my call as usual. i explained to him my problem & he assured me that they will come out tomorrow morning to resolve the problem a.s.a.p. the next day don stop by as promised & found/fixed the problem so now i have heat again. this time i made a specific request to don to get my unit replaced if possible...he assure me that if i experience another problem he'll make a strong argument/effort on his behalf to have my unit replaced. Unfortunately I would not use this company again. Our air went out and our warranty company sent Pro Solutions out to fix it. This all happened in a timely manner. The technician left our house Friday May 22nd at 2pm, saying he would be in contact with our warranty company. We waited eagerly wanting to know when our home would be livable again. No word from either company. We call the warranty company Saturday to find out no quote had been submitted. I called Pro Solutions asking what was going on and was told "We have until Monday, I mean Tuesday to turn it in since it is a 3 day weekend." Technically this is true but I was really hoping this company would take better care of me and my family during a time of quarantine and record high temps. ZERO Stars for this company!! This is the worst company ever. Unfortunately I recently moved to AZ and the homeowner has a home warranty which always designates that this company be used. They have made it clear that since there is a home warranty that A/C issues are "not an emergency" and will not be fixed in a timely manner. When I first moved here in June it took 5 days for them to come to the house and fix the A/C unit. The tech at that time told me that the unit was old and should have been replaced. On 8/1 the A/C unit died again. The same tech was out the second time, this time he stated that there was a leak and that the Freon had all leaked out and it had burned out the control board. At that time, it took them until 8/14 to order the needed part, but someone screwed up and the wrong part was ordered. It is now 8/31 and they were scheduled to replace the part but cancelled until 9/4. They still do not consider this to be a necessary or important repair. This has to be the most unethical and greed driven company I have ever had to deal with in my life. I would steer people away from working with this company and find a company that actually cares about helping those in the community. Their company logo states "Never a problem, just a solution", this is a total joke and a bald faced lie. Run away from this company!! read more

I called a leading competitor to find the issues were identical, however I was charged only $141....$200 less. Needless to say I won't go with Pro Solutions in the future due to their prices. My trek started in June when they came out to address a intermittent problem with my AC. Long story short I ended up with no AC till Sept. After talking to the owner I decided to write this review. I was contacted that day by phone. They were here at the time stated for the visit. That was 12 days ago and I still have not recieved a quote. When I emailed the gentleman who was here and left his card with his email on it, he emailed back stating he sent the quote to the address on file and he would resend to the correct email address. We have First American Home Warranty (FAHW) & called on 6/17/21 bc A/C stopped. Got to be in the 90's inside house & fans were not enough. We received the service company's name, "Pro Solutions A/C & Heating". I didn't wait for them to call us. I immediately called them. The company owner answered the phone. He was fantastic & immediately responsive. Best company we have ever dealt with via FAHW. Told us that his first available was in 6-7 days, HOWEVER, we could pay a nominal additional fee in addition to our $75 service fee & he would have someone e there in 3 hrs. So, we paid it as last year, we had to stay in a hotel for 5 nights that cost us over $600. The technician showed up as he said & the unit's burned out capacitor was replaced, cool air began blowing, & it all took less than 30 minutes. Pro Solutions is the best company we have ever had.
