Tenants deserve honesty, professionalism, and basic respect, and unfortunately, that has not been my experience here. From the beginning, communication with management has been inconsistent, dismissive, and at times completely inaccurate. I have repeatedly received wrong information, and when those mistakes caused issues for me as a tenant, there was no accountability, no apology, and no effort to correct the situation. Instead, I was met with a tone that felt cold, unhelpful, and lacking even the smallest amount of empathy. What makes this even more frustrating is that these aren't minor inconveniences -- these are situations that directly affect my home, my safety, and my peace of mind. When concerns were brought to Madison's attention, they were brushed off or handled with an attitude that made me feel like I was a burden rather than a paying resident who deserves clarity and respect. Professionalism should be the bare minimum for someone in a management role, yet what I experienced was the opposite: * Unprofessional communication * Incorrect information given multiple times * A lack of follow-through on important issues * Zero accountability when mistakes were made * A dismissive attitude toward legitimate tenant concerns What's most disappointing is the complete lack of humanity in the way situations were handled. Tenants are not just unit numbers -- we are people with jobs, families, responsibilities, and safety concerns. Be Very Cautious Before Applying Here I submitted a rental application to Liberty Square Townhomes, but less than one hour later, I discovered serious safety concerns around the area. After checking local incident reports, I found out that a murder had recently occurred right across the street from the property, in front of a local casino. As a single woman, I was extremely concerned for my safety -- especially since this complex has no gated security and limited visible protection. I immediately notified management and requested to cancel my application. I also submitted a dispute through my bank for the charges. Shockingly, I was told that the $250 administrative fee is non-refundable, even though I was never informed of that at the time of applying. I only knew the application fee ($55) was non-refundable. Had I known the admin fee was non-refundable, I would have never applied so quickly --especially without being able to fully evaluate the safety of the area. I understand policies, but this situation clearly shows a lack of transparency and empathy from management. I canceled within an hour due to a legitimate safety concern, not just a change of mind. This experience was deeply disappointing and unfair. If you're considering moving here, I strongly recommeno you research the neighborhood carefully and ask very specific questions about refund policies - in writing - before paying anything These people are truly money-hungry - nowhere else have I seen such an easy and shameless way to take people's money! Anywhere you go, the only fee that is typically non-refundable is the application fee. But here, they keep your money even if you cancel within an hour, before anything is processed. Officially been here for about a month now. Honestly love my unit for the most part. Area seems really quiet. Easy access to freeways. Great parks around, great food options around. Compared to summerlin it's a bit further out than I'm used to but overall not bad. I do have some draw backs which by the way doesn't take away from my love of the unit. I searched high and low throughout the Vegas valley to get the most bang for my buck. One things forsure with me increasing my rental budget I think these townhomes would have been a lot nicer if there was maybe a few adjustments. A gate for one would have made it feel much safer, It's such easy access for just anyone really and with high crime rates in the valley lately that's slightly concerning. Even with the community reiterating its luxury townhomes these appliances are screaming dated in the worst way. The fridge is tiny and more dated than my first apartment when I use to live next door 10 years ago. I'm short and it's just such a bad move for a kitchen it's so low. My stove is wobbly. I'm running two loads on dish washer to get my dinnerware clean. With the kitchen being as big as it is you would assume the appliances would complement it better. Bathrooms are nice I must say. I love the counter tops, flooring, paint. The only major draw/flaw I am having with this unit is the garage situation. For the life of me I cannot understand why they made the garage doors so small. Might I add I have two garage openings and I keep scraping the sides of my car. It's definitely bothersome. But everything else I can pretty much deal with. These are just some things that make this home feel slightly less luxury and more basic forsure. I've never thought in a million years I would be paying almost $2k for a one bedroom in Vegas but here I am. Horrific Passing UPDATE !!!! Someone lost their life on February 25th at the Dottys casino!! We live Inches from this business and now we fear for our children lives each and everyday. We are always outside playing with our kids and working in the garage, so the thought of always looking over our shoulders is nerve wrecking. We asked to break our lease due to the fact of the murder but it was denied. Liberty Square townhomes told us that a MURDER does not justify a break in a lease. Thefourth, we would have to pay $3500! The thought that a stay bullet could strike our children at any moment is unthinkable. The units have old appliances, and if you're an existing tenant looking to renew your lease, they will charge you almost $300 more than new tenants coming in. They lack any empathy or understanding when giving your notice to vacate and I would not recommend at all. read more

I drive past this property every day and decided to take a tour one day. The assistant manager and a girl in training (I am so bad with names) took me on a tour of the 2A model. I love the attached garages and ADT systems that are included. I think it's extra handy to have a gas station on the property! The only thing I think should change is having the jacuzzi closed during the colder months, it's the only time of the year that people want to use it! read more

I moved into Liberty Square in February and so far so good. Anita and Carlos have been really great. I commend Carlos for not losing his shit on me when i was first getting acclimated; I must have called the office about a million times w questions And none the less, Carlos was always kind and didn't make me feel like a nuisance, he answered all of my questions and put my mind at ease. Also to note, I seldom hear my neighbors which is nice. I also like the safety and convenience of having an attached garage. The grounds are kept clean and overall I feel safe in this community. As for maintenance, Rosendo has gone above and beyond. He is friendly, timely and has accommodated my work schedule. I can't speak on the amenities such a pool area or club house as i haven't gone yet. I haven't physically gone into the gym yet but i have done the virtual tour more than once and it looks like a nice lil set up. The mail area is nice and secured under shade w cameras. For packages there is an amazon hub that is accessible 24 hours which is very convenient. Also convenient is the gas station inside of the complex, along w Mr. Jim's Pizza, Subway, a breakfast spot, gym, nail salon and more. Less than a mile down the road is Albertsons, more food places, gas, etc. A couple miles further is Smiths Market Place, banks, more food. You also have easy access to the 215 and 95 as soon as you exit the complex. All in all I am so happy w Liberty Square. They were at the top of my list for at least three years before I moved and I am happy to call them home now! If nothing changes, I will continue to rent here until I purchase my home. I don't believe Liberty Square deserves 1 star but depends on the day you're asking. The homes are comfortable and they're up-kept to a certain degree. We had some chips in our doors that were painted over and dealt with a stove that was leaning for a year but it worked and we made sure to state any damage before the inspection. We were not charged. Be very specific with your inspection. The area and the commute to and from work was okay. I've recommended these homes to dozens of military families, i've shared photos, and i've invited people in to my own home so they can feel out LS. The staff is terrible. I wouldn't recommend unless you enjoy waiting. We've been sitting out front for over half an hour on our day off waiting to ask one question because they're open from 8-5 with over an hour lunch in between (not stated anywhere). They don't answer their phones during this time either so if you want to contact them for any issue make sure it's on their time and not yours. I have a sour taste in my mouth with LS. You're always on their time. You're always going to be waiting. Whether it's for maintenance or a simple question, these people have 0 care for your time. Be careful and make sure that you go in with sufficient time. Even when we were waiting for paint when we were going to move out, we had to wait. Due to mixed answers from multiple staff members -- we were in the wrong but that's life. Also to add, 4 people have come to their door since I've been waiting (now approaching 45 minutes) and asked me about my opinion about LS. Me waiting 30+ minutes as a previous tenant gave them a pretty good idea and they walked away. read more

I've been living at Liberty Square for a few months now, and am SOOO happy to have chosen this place!! Carlos, the property manager, was incredibly helpful, and was able to answer all of my questions and concerns with so much knowledge a smile on his face(even through my crazy questions lol). He made me feel comfortable with my decision, and it still is true! I've only had one tiny maitenence request, and Nestor in maintenance was able to fix it quickly and efficiently.If you're having second guesses on this spot, don't. My 2 star review really comes down to the last few of months of living there and after moving out. We were originally going to stay for another 6 months and signed a 6 month lease in August 2018 (these are very limited). Our lease expired the end of November- meaning our new, higher payment for the 6 month lease was going to start December 1st. On October 1st my rent was higher by $300. I went to the front to ask what this was about and they stated I was on a month to month. HOW? -Also, I'm still in my current lease so I shouldn't have a higher payment until December, and I signed a 6 month lease extending into April of the following year. Apparently I missed ONE line to be initialed among the 10 pages I had signed and initialed. No matter that my boyfriend, who was on the lease signed everything correctly. No on contacted us to let us know one initial was missing (isn't that their job?)- they just canceled our lease and put us on a month to month. The girl at the front said it shouldn't be a problem and everything would be fixed. It never was. I called every other day, and most days had to leave a message with no return call back- ever. When I would get someone on the line, I got the same frustrating comment "oh yeah let me check in on that for you" finally 2 months went by with no resolution and no one seemed to worried to get an answer. So we decided to leave. We moved out. For the best. Hired cleaners to come clean our place. They had be remodeling all the places people were moving out of with nice laminate flooring, and new quartz countertops. We had the old nasty carpet etc. We still cleaned that place from top to bottom. The only thing we didn't do was shampoo the carpets because they were going to be remodeling anyways. Two months after moving out I get a call from a collection agency telling me I owe them money. They have never ONCE tried to get in touch with me. The collection is for "damages" /dirty carpet. Mind you it was just foot traffic on the bottom stairs. They are replacing all their floors anyways. So how could they charge for dirty carpet they are going to be ripping out anyways? What a joke. This place is a joke. The management is a joke. The pool is closed for repairs like all the time and no one seems to care about anything as long as they are getting paid. Do yourself a favor and rent something better for the price you are going to pay. read more

These Townhomes were absolutely Beautiful, at first interaction the leasing Staff was very nice. I submitted a rental application however I was not approved. I submitted my rental application online and was under the assumption that the Credit Check Was $50 with a $200 Holding/Admin fee. I asked the leasing staff when will I receive my deposit back? This is when everything turned sour. I was informed that the entire $250 was non-refundable even if the application is denied. As EVERYONE on the entire planet is aware, we are living through a Pandemic so my cash is Not disposable. I created a new account on their website so that I could review all of their disclosures page by page, and unfortunately the website does a HORRIBLE job at disclosing the refund policy. I did reach out to the leasing office and informed them That the online disclosures were not specific to the Admin fee. It Clearly states that Application fees are non Refundable however the Admin fee and Application fee were both individually Itemized and was Charged separately which will cause a misinterpretation of their policy. I did not ask or question the reason for my denial because I was already approved for another home, however I shared with the Assistant Manger that I was a Victim of a HATE crime where I was severely physically attacked, hospitalized, and still currently being harassed at home. I informed him the LVPD and VOC agency was assisting me with my relocation. I provided him with a copy of my Police report as well as my approval for Relocation assistance by the Agency. After further review I believe I was denied my application based on Sexual orientation and Transgender discrimination. It is unfortunate that I have to write this review, however I have made a career stemming from Customer Service, and I have to say this has been one of the worst experiences I've had to deal with. No one should have to feel cheated, mislead, or robbed. In closing I have submitted several rental applications this week, each Property having their own Application fee disclosures. All of the Properties I applied to mentioned that their Application fee is nonrefundable however the admin/holding fee would be returned in the case that the application is denied. I would not feel the need to write this review if I had FULL TRANSPARENCY from the beginning. read more

My visit at the place was nice and quick. Vianni helped us and informed that the unit that will be available on May 18 was a 2B and she gave us the price for that unit . I still have the paperwork that she gave me where she wrote the price of the unit. Everything went smooth for my application and got approved, however she told me that the unit that I applied for was actually floorplan 2A. That is not what we agreed on. That is false advertisement. Since I don't have I choice, I informed her that I am willing to wait for June 18. But then she gave me excuses that the unit is $150 more. The money is not a problem. $150 is not a big deal. But The problem is she changed the price on the unit that I applied for initially. Bad business practice. We already have a deal on the type of floor plan and the price. And now, she is giving me a different price. She made the mistake on giving me the wrong information. I even called the day before to confirm that the unit that I applied for is 2B and they said yes. And all of a sudden she told me that there are already 2 applicants on the unit. She cost me $250 on my application for her mistake. read more

I was initially interested in this place because of the location and the photo of the interior showed that these townhomes were modern and nicely kept. So I went to tour the place and the townhouse they showed me did indeed look very nice, but I wanted to rent a larger unit that was not ready for viewing yet. I thought no problem, I'll just view the unit I want before signing the lease. These guys were very hard to get ahold of much of the time. They do not return calls consistently. Anyways, they said the unit would be available for viewing on the 14th. We thought okay, and arranged for our movers to come on 20th. Well, it turns out the unit wasn't ready by the 14th and they had to delay the viewing until the 16th. We found this out by calling them because they didn't bother to contact us. Okay, fine. They said the unit didn't need much work though so it seemed weird that they had to delay it past the original date they quoted us. We viewed the apartment today and it looked like utter crap, nothing like the staged apartment they showed us. The floor on the first story was re-done poorly, with huge uneven bumps in the living area. They repainted it shoddily. The paint was uneven and some of it had even gotten on the floors on parts of it. The floor on the second story had not been re-done and it looked really ugly and worn out. But the worst of it was that the cabinets in both bathrooms were completely tore up. I'm surprised that they thought it was acceptable to show a unit in this condition and still ask $1700 for it. We asked what was up with cabinets and they said their contractors were in Arizona and couldn't come out to fix them right now and they had no ETA as to when the cabinets would be replaced. Weird that they can only use contractors from another state, it seems shady/cheap. I understand if they have to delay certain repairs but why even show a refurbished unit and then try to rent out an ugly, tore up unit at the same price? Ridiculous. We cancelled our application which cost us a non-refundable $200. Since we had to view the apartment later then they originally quoted we are now scrambling to find a new place and reschedule our movers. It was an enormous waste of time. I've waited to write this review until we Received our deposit or explanation of not returning it in full, but we moved out three months ago and we haven't received anything about our deposit. So I decided to go forward with the review. Well, the property and the models themselves are look beautiful. Anita in the front office is a gem everything else, well sucks. When we moved in the place was awful. It was filthy, filthy it took me two to get it clean and the carpet had had stains and smelt gross. The complex is pretty loud and lots of traffic in and out and if you have more than one car parking is awful. I don't know how it is now under new management but it's an awful place to live. Good luck I have waited to write this review for awhile now. Our lease is up now and we are about to move out next week. Although I have enjoyed our time on this side of town and this location is awesome; living here has almost been a nightmare. We have been here 14 months now. The space has been nice but we have had issues. First I want to say it took us months to get use to all the noise. Omg the outside noise is awful. We hear loud cars with bumping music all night long. The garbage, omg I have to say that some of the people that live here are disgusting. If one of the garbage bins are full they won't use another bin or one behind it they throw their garbage on the ground. The garbage workers won't pick it up. The maintenance men from complex literally have to clean up after these slobs. Next, the humans around here that have dogs are gross. They allow their dogs to urinate all over their porches and it leaks off, urine and feces on sidewalks on the road. It's disgusting, I love animals but we don't have pets and it's annoying to walk around dog poop everywhere. When we moved in the apartment was filthy, urine all over the floors and toilets, body everywhere and he carpet has stains. There's one gigantic stain in the living room from a Christmas tree. In the beginning of the touring process the office staff were nice. They showed the model of the apartment I wanted and I decided to apply. Their "special" in February 2021 was $50 for the credit check and $200 for the administrative services. The $200 was to be applied towards the deposit if approved. If you are not approved the entire amount of $250 becomes non-refundable. BEWARE!!. Once my daughter and I applied, I was told I had 3 days to supply all requested documents. Well, this is when it got obviously ugly. The first day they requested the regular things such as driver's license, auto info, employment, etc. I provided everything they requested. Then came day #2. Since they did not ever once call me, I called them to see the status of my application. I was told they need more documents. Now they needed my daughter's bank statements, mortgage loan statement, etc. Each time my daughter supplied what they needed, they asked for something else. Then came day 3. Because the mortgage statement my daughter supplied only showed her husband's name, they wanted the husband to fill out a form stating that my daughter (his wife) was a tenant and that she did not throw wild parties??????. My daughter supplied them with the deed where it clearly had both their names as owners of the house. Anita, the person we were dealing with, said this was not an acceptable document and could not be accepted. Since when is a legal document not accepted?? Anita wanted my daughter's husband to fill out a questionnaire stating that she was his tenant and did not throw wild parties. Do these people know no end? By this time it was the end of the third day and Anita said our application would be voided. I wonder if this is a scam to collect extra income during Covid-19. Maybe some of their existing tenants aren't paying rent and they need to make it up somewhere. THIS IS A SCAM!! This was a horrible experience. I do not recommend you apply here. read more

The most unprofessional apartment office i have ever encountered. Anita, Carlos, and Denyse Burgard are an embarrassment. I don't recommend living here for anyone. Lived here for a year and they did 3 inspections but yet never sprayed for bugs. Therefore i had to kill many cockroaches, and scorpions. No one picks up their dogs poop so sitting on your balcony is isn't even pleasant. No body cleans the gym, I've seen the same dirty towel in the corner since i started going and the pool is constantly closed. They used to offer free water in the club room and now they locked the fridge. The computer in the club room doesn't even work so what amenities are there reallyThe people in the office will lie to you and then avoid you. I would give this review 0 stars if i could. RUN FROM HERE! This place is a scam! First of all the office staff is extremely rude. They have a horrible attitude and absolutely refuse to help anyone. They would not even talk to me until I paid the application fee and $200 deposit. I am out $310 between the fees and the deposit. The qualifications changed after I paid the fees. I am out $310 for a place that clearly did not want to rent an apartment. First they wanted my roommate's private banking information after saying they just need to verify income. Then they changed the amount of the deposit. After we submitted bank statements and a contract offer, they then changed the requirements from 3 times the rent amount to 6 times the rent amount. When asked why this was the case I was told that the office would not argue with me anymore. So good luck with this place.
