To be honest, I love liberty taco. My issue is the one on OST. This one is near my office. Had it not been, I would have stopped ordering from there months ago. As a result, I still begrudgingly try once or twice a month. Each time, they get my order incredibly wrong. They get my boss's order wrong. I order the same thing each and every time, no substitutes nothing weird. They get it wrong every time. One time there was chicken on it, I'm a vegetarian,,one time there was egg when I had ordered bean, today they left off everything but the bean. The queso was extremely thick and filled with surprise peppers that are so hot, you won't taste anything else other than the water you are desperately consuming as fast as you can. Taco 'bout delicious. We happened to give this place a try for lunch because someone wanted tacos. I was pleasantly surprised that quesadillas were also on the menu (a personal favorite). One person got a steak quesadilla and I got a chicken quesadilla and we shared to try both kinds. The chicken was really good--no complaints there--but the steak was perfectly seasoned, tender and flavorful. Speaking of perfectly seasoned, so was the guacamole that is served on the side with the quesadilla. If you're a guac fan I think you'll like this one. Equally delicious we're the chips and queso. I appreciated the consistency of the queso--thick and creamy. Sometimes I find Queso can be too watery at different places, but that's not the case here. I especially enjoyed the queso fresco and fresh cilantro on top (word of warning for those cilantro leathers out there). I'm sure you can ask for the cilantro to be omitted if that's not your thing. Today I came in for breakfast. I was met by a sweet young lady who didn't speak English to well. But she was very professional. Unfortunately I wish it ended there. When I got my order it was wrong. When I went to tell the other lady she was shorter with reddish hair. She rolled her eyes, made a ugly face took the wrong taco. I didn't think it was a huge deal. But from her face expression I definitely could tell she was upset. I'm not sure if I said the wrong taco, but either way. Customer service is always my first impression of the place I eat. The tacos were amazing! But unfortunately I don't think I'll be back as long as the customer service is this horrible. She definitely ruined my day. There is a huge selection of taco restaurants in Houston, so this one didn't really stand out to me. There was nothing wrong with the tacos. They were very much standard in price and taste. I appreciate that they were very generous with the meat in the tacos. However it didn't leave any impression on me, good or bad. How does it take 12 mins for cold tacos?! The brisket taco was one the worst breakfast tacos in existence. Full of fat (which was white) because it was refrigerator cold. The cheese was still a shredded clump. I assume they thought the pre-cooked eggs were going to warm the tacos. The bacon taco was just as terrible, but the premade bacon was warmer than its other taco. They have a variety of tacos like bbq or brisket or hawaiian but if you looking for just tradition taco, I recommend somewhere else like a food truck bc the cost is higher than some other place. Both the cashier and the manager, which handed me the food, just failed to provide any type of customer service. They weren't helpful nor appreciate when I ordered or was handed my food. The manager handed me my order and typically you would expect a "thank you, have a good day." She literally sat it in-front of me and didn't even say anything or even bother to make eye contact. We pass by this new location quite often but have never stopped. Decided tonight to give it a try and very glad we did. We stopped in around 4:30 Sun. afternoon. Perfect timing, no a soul in the place but not long after we got our food the crowd started flooding in. I had the Liberty Steak and the Texas Brisket tacos. Ordered both sans cilantro as I'm one of those people that cilantro tastes like soap. The wife got a Liberty Steak with no veggies at all. We also got an order of chips and salsa (I was a bit surprised as most places offer that gratis) but it was worth paying for. The salsa was served piping hot and had just the right amount of spice. The tacos were amazing. The brisket had a very nice amount of smoke. I got some hot sauce with mine expecting it to not really be hot which is what I find at most places, but this was definitely hot. Unfortunately the flavor wasn't to my liking. It looks, and tastes a bit like creamy french salad dressing with heat. This is definitely going on our 'go-to' taco places. read more

One was a mixed vegetable taco which had a nice mix of veggies and good flavor and sauces. The other was a bean and cheese taco which was great. I also had the salsa and queso. The wueso was pretty good and they have a spicy sauce which I added to the queso or tacos with make it great. I was surprised that they served the salsa hot too (temperature wise). This food is worse than not good!! Gave my boyfriend and his dad food poisoning which they are suffering from right at this moment. The chicken tacos I ate were so gross and my bf and his dad got it from the steak tacos. Im not sure how the service was, but it was probably horrible since they obviously dont care for their customers or their digestive systems. The ambiance of the restaurant wasn't pleasant since the food was so disgusting. After tasting each, the tomatoes were expired & bubbly. The steak looked and tasted bland and as if it had been sitting out for a day or so. Im so disappointed. This is one of the better restaurants in that area of Houston. It is reminiscent of Torchy's, but a little more to-the-point. I was happy because they let me put panko fish in a salad bowl, even though it wasn't specifically on the menu. The food tasted pretty good! Nothing spectacular, but it was straight-forward and fresh. The sodas are really interesting there, with flavors like lemon berry açaí. And it only took a few minutes from when we ordered to when we got the food. The decor is nice, too! My husband said he really enjoyed the kogi beef taco. We'll probably be back! read more
