I had always heard stellar things about Liberty Taco, but I didn't realize that this would be one of my best dining experiences in a long time To start, the exterior is inviting. The signage is big and vibrant. There is plenty of parking in the outlet, but there is limited seating outside, and when I pulled up mid afternoon all the outdoor tables were full. And it was a hot day. Inside there is plenty of seating, and plenty of AC The worker who took my order was incredibly professional. I was greeted, they made sure my order was correct, and I was told they would bring it out to me. This person jumped into action as I sat down, first bringing me my chips and queso, and then my tacos. It was something about the manner of attention to detail and speed that made it feel like I was well taken care of. I also watched ad this one worker took more orders and stewarded the entire space. I even saw them take an order out to a car The menu has something for everyone. Signature tacos, classic tacos, quesadillas, seafood options, veggie options, chicken, steak, etc The ambiance was fine. Again, plenty of seating, a spacious dining area. There were songs playing in the radio. The decor is quirky, but not overwhelming or distasteful The food was delicious. I didn't expect to enjoy the queso as much as I did. Sometimes a restaurant gives too many chips or too few, and somehow this felt like just the right amount. I was given a variety of sauces/salsas that were delicious. Warning: The deep orange one has quite a flavorful kick (spicy). I scarfed down many tacos, and my only regret was I didn't have more room to try others Some tips: I did see a sign over the kitchen door that read "please feel free to BYOB." If you're considering tacos... instead of Torchys or Velvet Taco, consider Liberty Taco Cheers!!

Searched for the place closest to where I was for some breakfast tacos, and this popped up. I originally intended to just get a couple breakfast tacos but their menu has too many great sounding tacos. Staff were very friendly and helped me narrow down my decisions. My favorite taco was the Baja fish one. 10/10! Can't wait to visit again.

The service was amazing--super welcoming and friendly. The location and parking were great. IG wasn't crowded at all. As far as food, the warm salsa was my favorite part. The flavor was great and I was not expecting it to be warm. The guacamole wasn't great. The tacos were a 3 out of 5. I would not go out of my way to come back here. But if someone really wanted to go, I would oblige and opt for one taco.

Finally decided to try Liberty Taco after the many highly rated Yelp reviews in addition to me loving Tacos! I decided to go on a Monday morning and when I got there I was in fact worried because there wasn't a single soul in line. Variety is the spice of life, so I decided to pig out this morning! I order 1 barbacoa taco, 2 egg bacon and cheese taco, chips & queso, as well as 1 chicken taco. All the meat on each on of my tacos was well seasoned, eggs were great and (real). For some odd reason, the Queso stole the show! The only drawback for me was that the tortilla did not seem like it was freshly made and instead store bought, but nonetheless all still great. Customer service was great!

Tasty tacos, fresh. Meat could be more tender and seasoned a little better but overall, decent tacos.

Liberty Taco was pretty close to our hotel after a late night concert at NRG so we decided to give it a try. Chips & Queso were good. Very similar to Torchy's but without the heat. Two thumbs up I ordered 3 tacos: Bacon, Egg & Cheese - Barbacoa - Chorizo, Egg & Cheese. The Barbacoa was fantastic. Very flavorful & delicious. 8/10. The Bacon, Egg & Cheese was pretty delicious as well. It's thick cut bacon that was cooked spot on. 7.5/10 The Chorizo, Egg & Cheese was my least favorite of the 3. The eggs were overcooked a bit & the taco was a little dry. 6/10. Overall, I enjoyed our food & would stop back in when we are in the area.

Found this taco restaurant near the mail and it was a good place for reasonably priced tacos. This was my fist visit and the staff were helpful with food suggestions. The tequila lime shrimp taco was phenomenal!! Thai basil was also amazing. If the future I will pass on the chicken tinga taco, it consisted of shredded chicken abdwas just okay. I had the medium salsa. It was green and not very spicy, next time I will request the hot when ordering. There is a mix of tall stools without backs and metal chairs in the dining area.

DANG! This place is is good. I'm talkin, really good! I love fusion restaurants and they will already hold a special place in my stomach! We had the Liberty steak taco, Kogi taco, Fajita Quesadilla, and the chips and queso. I have zero things to say besides "everything was super tasty and left me NOT WANTING MORE". Usually I hate that I have to purchase more food or I'm thinking about getting snacks afterwards. All I want to do is lay down and rest after eating here. My wife even said that this was the "best fajita" she has ever had and that it was so "soft and moist" when she bit into it. 10/10 will be back!!! Love it!

Do they have any Happy Hour Specials?

They do not. But, tacos are worth it. Fusion you won't see at every taco place.

Does the phone number not work? I called 4 times and no one picked up. I'm trying to place a to go order

It works but What i found best is to order online because it's faster. It gets really jammed pack in there sometimes. Hope this helps

    Is it cheaper than torches?

Little cheaper. But better quality and bigger portion, in my opinion

Inside it is a one room eatery with counter service. My first visit was to try the Birria Burrito for $16 with the meal delivered about 10 minutes later. It consisted of their Birria meat cooked for 4 hours mixed with chorizo, cheese, rice, beans and sour cream all wrapped in a large flour tortilla seasoned with their special red colored seasoning. With the meal came a cup of consomne'. Guy Fieri would say, Welcome to Flavortown! It was delicious. The Birria beef was so tender and the flavored flour tortilla with that proprietary red seasoning they use was perfect. It was a very filling meal and well worth the price. So much so, I thought about it the next day. Another visit was to try one of their specialities, the Quesabirria for $14. This meal consisted of 3 grilled and crispy corn tortillas seasoned again with their special red colored magic dust. The tortillas had the delicious Birria meat and cheese inside and I again loved them. The tortillas are only slightly crispy and the meat, cheese and tortillas memorable. This meal also came with a cup of consommé for dipping. Another nice thing about eating here is the customer service. The lady at the counter was very friendly and helpful. The guy bussing the tables acted more like the owner than an employee with his helpfulness and the actual manager came out to check on us. Impressive for a counter service restaurant. Tacos Dona Lena deserves its reputation as one of the best restaurants of its kind. Incredible food and employees all at very reasonable prices. We pulled up to this food truck and, while placing our order, I instantly had the feeling that this crew knew exactly what they were doing. The tacos were fresh, flavorful, and packed with the kind of simple, honest ingredients that make great breakfast tacos so satisfying. Since it was my first time here, I ended up ordering 1 chorizo and 1 asada taco, churros, limon aguas, and my friend got the asada taco as well and a hortchata! Since it was super busy (especially on saturday night) it was about a 30 minute wait foe our food but it was well worth it! They hand out free chicharrones and they were super crunchy and a nice snack while we waited for our food. The limon aguas was super refreshing especially in the summer heat and the horchata was really good! We sat at the counter top that overlooks the kitchen. I love that the open kitchen concept so you can see them making your food right in front of you! Everything smelled so good so I was excited for my food. I love that they give radishes, cucumbers, and plenty of limes on the side. I definitely love all of the toppings and the more the better! I tried all of the salsas and the salsa de chile de arbol was by far my favorite! super spicy but had so much flavor. The chorizo was good but a little dry for my liking. I did just want to try it so I can try more than one flavor but I think I would get it again as a breakfast taco with egg instead. The asada was my favorite of the two so much flavor and plenty of meat! I was content with these 2 tacos but I could have definitely eaten more if we didn't order churros as well! The churros came with classic condensed milk and dulce de leche which is just carmelized condensed milk. The churros were crunchy and warm on the outside and had a chewy texture like mochi on the inside! Super yummy and not too sweet! I liked both sauces and would definitely get this again. Overall, I had a great experience and I will be craving the tacos until the next time I can come back! I can't wait to try a lot of their other menu items as well. Definitely recommend!
