I asked for a Dos Equis, and Heather looked at me and blankly asked, "What is that?" When I explained it was a Mexican beer, she snapped, "We don't have that." Meanwhile, I could clearly see another patron at the end of the bar drinking a Modelo. I pointed it out and just asked for a Modelo instead, which she finally served. The real issue, however, was a shocking lack of sanitation later in our meal. My dad ordered the Reuben soup, which came with a side of Thousand Island dressing. He enjoyed it, so a few minutes later, I ordered a cup for myself. When Heather brought out my soup, it didn't come with its own dressing. Instead of pouring a fresh side, she reached over, grabbed my dad's used, leftover Thousand Island dressing, pushed it over to me, and said, "Oh, he looks like he didn't touch this. You can go ahead and use it." I was completely stunned and disgusted. Passing used, pre-served food side-dishes between customers is a massive health code violation, regardless of whether we are family or not. If this is how they handle hygiene in plain sight at the bar, I dread to think what is happening back in the kitchen. We will definitely not be returning.

They came and refilled the dog bowl with ice cold water, and our dogs loved that. Service was a little slow, but everyone was nice. I got the pulled pork sandwich with fries and bbq sauce. It was sooooooo salty. Everything. The fries, the pork, the sauce. So much salt. Dipping in my husbands ranch mellowed the salt a bit. My husband got the chicken pesto burger and salad. He said it was good, though Costco's was better. lol. But he ate it all. The dogs got their bowl split in half. There was a bunch of peanut butter, chicken, cucumber, and cabbage. The picky dog devoured it all but the cabbage, the dog who'll eat anything ate only the chicken and PB. Really funny. But they were big sized. I'd go again, just being understanding that they're heavy handed with the salt.

It's more of a cafe style menu. It was OK food, but definitely not BBQ as the name just might imply. The atmosphere was pretty bad. Old, outdated booths and decor. Bartenders are knowledgeable and practice their art and make super B-52's and Mai Tai's. Wednesday night is Dollar Beer night, and the place is jumping. My favorite waitress is super pretty and the rest are okay too.

I got a soda that was caffeine free and just hadda couple swings, I avoids sugar. I know, I know shoulda had water as usual. A BLT is usually safe. But I doesn't eat salt as a rule and never caffiene. Sometimes as a "treat" if yas get my drift. I look at the ingredient list and it seemed pretty safe and I felt like being treated. So's the fake Italian sandwich shows up and the "home made mayo" is not mayo, it's some spicy crapola I can't eat that's supposed to be a ringer for mayo. If yas hasn't figured it out yet Hammer is a picky eater and drinker. I don't eat anything spicy. I don't like it. Want to be certain yas totally destroy a sandwich.
