My husband thought the latte was a tiny bit runny/watery (if that makes sense) but I thought it was fine. I'm not an oat milk drinker, but I enjoyed the flavor of the oat milk. The tiny downside is that the oat milk kinda overpowers the matcha flavor. It was a nice smooth drink. We also ordered a chocolate croissant and it was good too. The coffee is marginal although it will get you through. I'm kind of a purist, so I go for espresso only or Americanos where I can control water content. One great thing about drinking coffee here though is that you get to use their own packages spices, which are quite good. The sandwiches are good, the people working are always great, the seating area is comfortable (although a little on the small side when they're crowded) and they have free WiFi. The hours on Yelp show them open only one morning a week, and their own web site suggests you call ahead to request a tasting or cupping session. I missed that part and found a locked door. At home, though, their beans make some really tasty coffee in our automated espresso machine. To get the best balance, I first coarsened the grind but ultimately reduced the brewing temp a bit. Definite notes of cocoa and dark chocolate. We buy online. Beans are shipped UPS with tracking. Online ordering from their web site may be the easiest way to find out what Coatl has to offer.

I stay in town for business 5-6 nights a year.
