The location was cute and quaint with a calm, welcoming atmosphere. The customer service was excellent--everyone was friendly and made the experience enjoyable. I noticed a couple of moms chatting while their kids played, while others were working on their laptops, which gave the café a relaxed and inviting vibe. My favorite part of this location is the outdoor seating. You might not notice it at first since it's tucked away past the restrooms, but it's the perfect spot to enjoy some fresh air. There's also plenty of parking, which is a huge plus. My go-to drink is usually a mocha Frappuccino, but they don't offer blended drinks--only iced beverages. That ended up being fine because their iced mocha was delicious, and the coffee itself had a great flavor. I'll definitely be back! read more

Coffee was good. Matcha was good. That's the important part for a coffee shop. We had breakfast and drinks here and sat inside. We had the following: Cold brew with banana pudding cold foam. Not a bunch of banana pudding taste to it, but it was a nice addition to the cold brew. Strawberry matcha - you could taste the strawberry and it was a very nice balance. Ham and cheese croissant - I would not get this again. It was too buttery/greasy and the everything seasoning really took away from the small amount of ham and cheese it had. Almond croissant - was good, with a nice filling inside of it. We would for sure get this again if we got food again. We ate inside, it's a large open space that was LOUD, lots of echos and noise. When we first came the place was packed and by the time we finished up it did thin out, but it was still loud inside. This is not a place to come to chill out that's for sure. The workers also made zero effort to put any volume level when calling out the names of the order. Not sure if this was good or not but it was a guessing game if your order was ready. The items did have your name printed on them so it was easy to find, you just had no idea when your order was ready. I was at the counter getting napkins next to the pick up area and I still could not hear the name the workers called out. But I guess if they yelled it would just be even more loud inside than it already was. I would come back, but it would be a to-go order for sure and would probably just get drinks. read more

Switched from our usual cafe elysa since 4th of July crowds were crazy. No problems parking, found seats for our group of 4 easily. Very happy with the variety of vegan options and outdoor seating. Service was lovely, quick friendly and efficient. read more

We came in to try out their coffee. The menu is small for food (pastries) but a decent size listing for coffee. You can add syrups to your liking. There is one register running so be patient. My husband ordered the drip and I had a decaf americano. Additional costs to adding syrups and alternative milks. Coffee was good. Ethically sourced. We brought our own cups which takes $0.10 off your order. You can enter a phone number for points if you are going to continue to come here. Vista Bean is a very unique coffee shop that is committed to supporting the people and community of Uganda. All of their coffee is organically farmed and 100% of the money goes to their farmers, that's amazing! I ordered a simple cold brew with coconut cold foam and I can taste the richness of the coffee beans, probably one of the best cold brews I've had. This little shop is located right before the freeway so I definitely suggest checking this place out for your next pit spit, there is plenty of parking and seating options inside. I didn't try any of their food options, although everything looked great-- especially the pastries. My only critic is I wish the barista was a little more friendly with a welcome, and a little loud and clear when I was asking for recommendations. Another must try coffee shop in Oceanside! This place is pretty big and has a nice size parking lot. It is a little difficult driving into the parking lot since it is so close to the on ramp to get on the 78 and the 15 south. We went around noon and we had to do a couple loops before there was not traffic blocking the entrance. Oh and we were coming from the 78. If coming from the coast, it should be a lot better. Even though there was ample parking, it was full. Hunters steakhouse is next door and I kinda got the feeling that the coffee shops lot is being used as overflow. There wasnt too many people inside. I love when coffee shops have seasonal drinks on top of their regular coffee. I got the honey bunches of oats latte with oat milk which was made of marshmellow and praline flavors. My husband got the maple pancake cold brew along with regular drip coffee. It was all so delicious. The drip coffee didn't even need sweetener! The ambience was nice. We love trying new local coffee shops, and decided to pop into the Vista Bean on a Monday afternoon. Lots of parking here, the interior of the space is airy and bright with lots of natural lighting and many tables. It would be a good place to sit and get a few hours of work done. however, only a few tables have access to a socket so keep that in mind . They also have a fun little assortment of items you can shop for, including handwoven baskets, coffee paraphernalia, and other merchandise. They have pastries and prepackaged snacks, some of which were gluten-free, which is always appreciated. I got a iced strawberry Matcha, and it was very good. They use ceremonial grade Matcha and a yummy strawberry jam/purée spread. It takes a little bit to mix it into the iced Matcha, but once you blend it in there, as I did, it was really tasty. The staff was very friendly as well! Overall, really enjoyed my drink and the good vibes, and would love to come back. read more

When visiting from LA, I now know where to get my coffee en route to San Diego. Let's cut to the chase: The cortado was excellent. It revealed the superb quality of their espresso with just a light helping of whole milk. My non-coffee-drinking buddy shockingly ordered the pistachio mocha latte, which he utterly consumed with no objections. My other friend got the matcha, which tantalized me from the sidelines (*I'll have to try it next time). Now for the setting: great lighting, chill and pleasant vibes, comfortable seating and tables. Not least although last in mentions, the people working here are true gems. Genuine folks who go the extra mile. Another coffee shop that I've been driving by forever and finally my husband and I decided to stop in on our way to downtown SD. So happy we went! They have a great parking lot, so it's pretty easy to get in and out of, and they have a great amount of indoor seating. Perfect place to study, meet up with friends and family, or work for a few hours. As soon as I saw ceremonial grade matcha on the menu, I knew what I had to order. I ordered their ceremonial iced matcha with lavender syrup and almond milk and it was perfect! I could drink this all day long as they did a fantastic job. My husband ordered a hazelnut latte and my goodness it was delicious. I love a great balance in a drink, usually not too sweet but not bitter either, and his hazelnut latte was just the right balance. I was honestly amazed at how good it was. He claimed it's the best latte he's had in years. Both of our drinks were so good! I noticed they had some gf/vegan options of pastries too. As soon as I saw the blueberry lemon scone, I knew I needed to try it. It looked as good as it tastes! I loved it, and it's not noticeable as being gf/vegan when tasting it/the texture of it, but if you aren't used to gf/vegan baked goods, you may notice the slight difference. Came here to work remote, and I'm happy to know that I will be coming back to either work remote again or bring friends and family. The interior design is modern and inviting. The staff was friendly. I tried their cortado and their Mexican Hot Chocolate. The cortado was up there as far as taste. I loved it. The Mexican Hot Chocolate was unique as they use cayenne pepper. I thought it was nice that the staff member let me know it was spicy to make sure it was something I would actually like. I love spicy flavors, and really enjoyed it. The portions are fair, and I looked at their coffee bean bags, I felt they were comparable to other coffee shops I've frequented as well. Lots of drink and food choices. Great open space with plenty of seats and tables to hang out comfortably. Cold brew on nitro is what got me in the door and it tasted delicious. I did NOT enjoy ice being added since it kind of broke down the creaminess of the nitro and watered down the coffee as time went on. Getting in and out of the parking lot can be tricky because if you go too far the last driveway is blocked off to prevent traffic mishaps with the freeways, so just make sure you don't go too far. read more

had to try out the new coffee shop in the area. might be a bit difficult to get to, but the parking is pretty spacious, and there's a few more spots behind the shop. I liked the open space and plenty of light even with the cloudy weather. there's a bunch of tables and chairs, with a few outlets along the walls. the drip was good but my partner got a triple espresso and even though it had a good taste profile it was a bit watery for a triple shot. either way we'll definitely be back for drip, and maybe even get a pastry next time :) the baristas were quick and nice too! read more
