I love to come here because it's my favorite spot. Staff members are friendly. They have really expanded the dine in section. I'm assuming I was a bit disappointed today. There were two people in front of me, I ordered a dirty chai blended coffee with an egg and bacon sandwich, which tasted absolutely delicious. But it took them 25 minutes to make. I tried the blended banana chai for the first time and it was amazing. This was my first time here, and the whole experience was great. My family and I even got to enjoy the photo booth while waiting for our drinks -- such a cute touch! There's also a thrift store attached, which makes the visit even more fun and unique. We come here every weekend! Their staff is kind, plenty of tables to eat and drink. We enjoy the black coffee, and also enjoyed the banana smoothie! They have Captains Helm a cute thrift shop and store next door for fun browsing. The protein bar is delicious too. read more

I ordered the acai bowl and it was delicious! There can be a long line at times but service was quick. Although when I was next to order, I wasn't greeted or acknowledged until they finished giving out the order they were working on, then I was approached. But I guess that's why the service was quick. Overall, a cute little coffee shop that you can walk right up to from the sidewalk. The menu is pretty small so it's pretty straightforward on what to choose from. We went on a Saturday morning, so it was a little busy and our coffee smoothie and bagel took about 10 minutes to be ready. They call you by the name to let you know it's ready and you can pick it up inside on their counter. Their smoothies don't have milk. They use apple juice! Pretty delicious and not badly priced for the area. They also have a store connected to the coffee shop. read more

Definitely an easy location to order from! The staff is friendly too! Waits never seem too long to make an order and even waiting for food/drinks is only a few minutes. They have plenty of different coffee options and a decent amount of food options. I absolutely love the Mexican mocha, either iced or hot! Their blended chais are also other delicious options. There is a decent amount of seating outside and the same parking situation as revolution roasters. Street parking is the easiest option. read more

Wasn't familiar with this coffee shop, only here for the week on a beach house vacation. Glad I chose this spot! Got a decaf Iced almond milk latte and added a little honey and cinnamon, which was delicious! Loved the taste of the decaf espresso. Girl at the register was sweet. I also got a plain bagel with cream cheese, which was good but needed a lot less cream cheese. I had to open up the bagel and remove more than half the cream cheese. :( (maybe I'm just pregnant and being extra picky) Would definitely recommend this place. read more

I have been coming to this spot regularly for the past three years and it has been my cafe of refuge in Oceanside. It provides a lovely seating area in an area otherwise lacking much seating or gathering space. The staff are able to keep up with massive customer demand and the drinks and food are consistently great. I love the variety of their menu offering. My go to is an iced dirty chai, which is sweet and spiced along with a turkey and egg breakfast sandwich. Highly recommend this spot if you are looking for an authentic, local North County cafe with charm. read more

I'm loving this little coffee spot! They have better prices than the place next door for equally good coffee and food. Their lattes are delicious and they offer a variety of milks and add-ins. I also love their breakfast sandwiches and my partner enjoys the bagels with avocado, unfortunately I forgot to take a picture of that. The staff is friendly, though I will say the food and coffee takes a while to come out. That said, I come here far too often and I plan to continue doing so! read more

I really like the good vibrations at the coffee spot. It offers a unique outside kiosk for those walking by just to pick up coffee to go and an inside bar for guests to linger. This has been here for years and I am surprised it took me so long to get here, as local business owners that I respect have told me, it's the best on the street. I ordered a hot mocha to go and it was good. Attached to the coffee cart/coffeehouse concept is the retail store with new/handmade and vintage finds. You can tell they really focus on what will sell, both new and used. It is very thoughtful. I'm a beret fan! Go for the nautical theme, beach side city vibe with local support. Just keep 6 feet apart, which was just put into place when I visited at the beginning of quarantine. If you want to support a local coffee shop, this is where all the locals go!! If you want a consistent regular cup of coffee that doesn't taste burnt or bitter this is your spot. Worst service ever. We were there before a big crowd started piling up. I only ordered a cappuccino, but somehow people who came later got theirs first. Sure, no big deal. By the time they called out my drink, there was a big crowd in front of the counter including at least 3 dogs, so I decided to go around the other side (by the door) to grab my drink, especially because I had a toddler in my arm. I said I just want to grab my cappuccino, but Ms. Short blonde hair points at my drink on the other counter (the drink and me were both within her arms length) and said "you can go around and grab it". Also bought The Colores blend which they happily ground for me, and it is really good! Mellow flavor with a hint of dark chocolate finish. Without the spread, the sandwich tasted a bit dry. Service was good. There is free parking at the plaza.

After he realized we were there to order takeout, he took care of us at the bar and saved us from a very long wait. We really appreciated this and understood he was very busy, but still made time to give us a great experience. It reminds us why we love going to this group of restaurants. I watched food dropped to other tables wondering why it was taking way too long more than 45 minutes...
