My wife ordered the Honey Town Latte and loved it because it wasn't overly sweet. Then the food came - I had the ham and cheese croissant and it blew me away. Tangy honey mustard, a bit of pickled onion, melted cheese, and a poached egg on a fresh, toasted croissant. So much flavor. Honestly, while other places in town have long waits, this place delivered on flavor, coffee, and hospitality!

Which is so awkward. These are totally fixable things, and should deter nobody from seeking this cute spot out. Parking is street parking only, so it can get tricky during busier times. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. They have a very large food menu, and they also have bagels, pastries, coffee, espresso drinks, , smoothies, beer, and wine. I was in at lunchtime, so I decided to get an "everything bagel" with their sun-dried tomatoes spread. I asked for light spread, and that's what I got. The bagel was amazing! Very tender. I could smell the garlic on the bagel and taste it as well. It was excellent. The spread was both savory and rich, but not overly rich. I loved it. I also had a white mocha. It was a good quality, coffee, and the drink was rich and sweet, but not overly so. I was talking with my sister later, and she told me that their sandwiches and salads are also very good. I decided to come back for dinner. I had the salami, baguette, and one of their lemon squares for dinner. The Salami Baguette had Salami, Jack Cheese, Spinach, Tomatoes, Dijon, and Pesto (Basil, Olive Oil, Garlic, Walnuts, Parmesan, and Salt) That sandwich was amazing! Baguette was soft and delicious, they were generous with the salami, and it had the right amount of cheese. The veggies give it a nice "pop" of freshness, the pesto was rich, but not overly so, and the Dijon and just a tiny bit of a "zip" to it. All of the ingredients played together very well. The lemon square, the crust was flaky, the lemon was creamy, but not overly sweet, and it had just the right amount of powdered sugar on the top. Everything I had there today was fantastic. The prices were reasonable. I will definitely be back to try more items. My only regret is waiting so long before I finally came in. Thanks!

There is not much out there in terms of restaurants, so we were so grateful to have a spot just a few steps away that served breakfast, lunch, and dinner for reasonable prices. The cottage had central air conditioning, which was so necessary as it was hot during the day and the AC offered much relief, and there were ceiling fans to further help circulate the air. The pillows and beds were comfortable, and the cottage had everything we needed during our stay. Julia and Don were such thoughtful hosts, and their staff were friendly and helpful. The location is set right along the Trinity River, and guests of the resort are able to enjoy direct access to the river. We brought fishing poles and actually caught some trout right behind the resort!
