I'm so old, the last time I was in this building, it was Duck's market. I've driven by lots of times, but I've never come in until today. Parking is street parking only, so it can get tricky during busier times. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. They have a very large food menu, and they also have bagels, pastries, coffee, espresso drinks, , smoothies, beer, and wine. I was in at lunchtime, so I decided to get an "everything bagel" with their sun-dried tomatoes spread. I asked for light spread, and that's what I got. The bagel was amazing! Very tender. I could smell the garlic on the bagel and taste it as well. It was excellent. The spread was both savory and rich, but not overly rich. I loved it. I also had a white mocha. It was a good quality, coffee, and the drink was rich and sweet, but not overly so. I was talking with my sister later, and she told me that their sandwiches and salads are also very good. I decided to come back for dinner. I had the salami, baguette, and one of their lemon squares for dinner. The Salami Baguette had Salami, Jack Cheese, Spinach, Tomatoes, Dijon, and Pesto (Basil, Olive Oil, Garlic, Walnuts, Parmesan, and Salt) That sandwich was amazing! Baguette was soft and delicious, they were generous with the salami, and it had the right amount of cheese. The veggies give it a nice "pop" of freshness, the pesto was rich, but not overly so, and the Dijon and just a tiny bit of a "zip" to it. All of the ingredients played together very well. The lemon square, the crust was flaky, the lemon was creamy, but not overly sweet, and it had just the right amount of powdered sugar on the top. Everything I had there today was fantastic. The prices were reasonable. I will definitely be back to try more items. My only regret is waiting so long before I finally came in. Thanks! read more

Came here for breakfast. Ordered two waffles for the two of us and a coffee. It was pricey. Then we sat and waited. And waited. And waited. Finally got our waffles. They were served lukewarm to cold. We didn't want to wait for lunch from the kitchen and were pleased to be directed to their ready to go fresh deli. They had sandwiches and salads made fresh that day. We ordered the coarser sandwich for $10 and a green salad with orange ginger dressing. The sandwich was huge - easily shared between two people. The salad was fresh and delicious and the dressing was a nice change of pace. They also have beautiful baked items. I wish I would have photographed our food BeFORE we started eating it! I was not impressed with the items and the service I received. Blueberry scones tasted like flour and artificial blueberry flavors are not okay with me! Cinnamon cookies were fine if all you want was something that was the result of a messy batter from your delusional apprentice's first attempt at substituting for the baker. Parking was pretty congested even before the peak rush hour period allowing me to question how many people fall in love with these false treats over their dinner meals. I really enjoy Ramones. I like their coffee and many of their pastry goods. I often get a loaf of sour dough to take home - very good!! However, recently I got a breakfast burrito, and while it tastes great, the tortilla is too small OR it's too stuffed. So as an item I got to-go to eat while driving, I realized I couldn't and had to finish it before I started driving. Just a PSA I guess Great food though. read more

You know how sometimes something looks SO good, and then you try it and it wasn't that good and it makes you mad about the calories you took in? Well, exactly the opposite is how I felt after trying Ramone's cinnamon roll. It was spectacular, baked to a soft perfection with velvety gooey icing heaped on. You should not go to Ramone's without having one of these. So good! My breakfast guest and I split the cinnamon roll and split an order of eggs Benedict. The potatoes served with the benes were gently seasoned and had a great crispy outside with the middle still fluffy. Really enjoyed the potatoes. The eggs were expertly poached and came with plenty of sauce - while the hollandaise was okay, it wasn't my all time favorite; seemed to have been missing the lemony flavor that I adore. Coffee is great; one of the best cups of coffee you can find in the area is at Ramones. Quick, efficient and pleasant service is consistent here.
