    Dill Pickle Soup
    Allen P.

We've been here a couple times. Ice cream sundae's the first time, BLT sandwich the second. We specifically went on Monday night to enjoy "Burger Night". We were not disappointed! We both had the classic cheese burger. Lettuce, Tomato, onion, pickles, Mayo, Ketchup, mustard on a Brioche bun. Absolutely excellent! The burger is reminiscent of In-N-Out burger! The chips are thick cut, crispy and tasty. Decided to try their homemade Dill Pickle Soup; delicious. A creamy Potato soup with carrots, onion and kosher dill pickle chunks and a hint of Old Bay. Quite a savory, delicious combination of flavors. Even the Arnold Palmer was right on the money. Our waitress Kaitlyn was knowledgeable, energetic, very kind and was happy we were there. The staff, decorations, the age of the building and music creates an atmosphere; you can't help but be glad you came! Plenty of parking and easy to get to, right on Main Street. Mondays just might become Burger Night!

You will most likely think this was the best meal you have had out in a long time. I always thought it was really just an ice cream place that also offers light sandwich menu. I was wrong! Top quality food menu with fresh ingredients and so many options. The ice cream is just an added bonus. Location is slightly difficult to park and the seating is very limited. Bathrooms are in a separate building. Hopefully they can expand to another location.

Found Lickety Split on yelp, my first stop to find new good spots to eat. We were greeted by the hostess who opened the door for us, seated us and asked for our drink order, while explaining the soups. She offered to bring us a soup sample. She quickly brought the samples and drinks, then told us to expect our server shortly. After looking at the diverse and interesting menu for about 3 minutes, our server approached and helped us with our choices. The thanksgiving special and garden spot sandwiches were very well made, had good complementary ingredients (chicken salad with bacon and cheddar on a toasted brioche roll), tasty and delicious. Get my drift? Great service, great food, gotta try it. Oh, and an ice cream sundae for dessert. Whew!!

We went to Lickity Split on at 4:30pm and they already had a very steady amount of customers. The dining area is very comfortable and decorated cute! We ordered a ham n cheese wrap (I can't remember the name of it) which was good. My intent was to save room for dessert! I ordered the small waffle sandwich using salted caramel truffle ice cream. I would definitely order it again...it was so good.

Was looking for a place to stop in the way home from Lititz. Found this place & wanted to try it. Very nice local spot. My chicken Caesar wrap was great (I do wish they served fries!) & my daughter liked her grilled cheese. Got a cinnamon bun & chocolate chip cookies to go which were tasty. All the servers were kind & attentive. We really liked the place, would definitely stop here again!

We were in the neighborhood visiting a shop and decided to get something to eat. My husband and I spilt the Thanksgiving Day sandwich, it was delicious. And we both got a petite ice cream on a waffle cone. The staff is super nice and have great recommendations. I definitely wish this place was closer to home because I'd be here every single day.

As soon as you walk through the doors, you are welcomed by their wonderful staff. The specials are showing as you walk in and it is beautifully decorated as well. My husband couldn't say enough wonderful things about this stop. We were seated immediately and welcomed like family here. We loved how sweet everyone was. We were served by Meg and she was amazing. We ordered the pretzel melt, dill pickle soup to share, garden spot melt, and a flight of ice cream for dessert. We ordered a birch beer and Shirley temple to drink. The ice they use in their drinks made the drinks taste amazingly better. They also offer free refills and were on top of making sure they will always filled. The Garden spot melt had the best chicken salad, so fluffy and tasty. Our favorite was the pretzel melt, it was thin pretzel, which helped you get all the flavors of the steak, cheese, and pretzel combined. I choose their steak sauce, which was warmed in a ceramic bowel and honey mustard to dip our sandwiches in. Both entrees came with chips. The dill pickle soup was very good, not as creamy as I thought it would be, but definitely tasted like a Dutch soup. It was topped with old bay seasoning. It was filled with flavor. Lastly we ordered a flight of ice cream and loved all their flavors. We would recommend their dairy free wild berry. It was like a creamy jam ice cream. I wish I could buy a gallon of it. All in all, we had a wonderful date here and will be back with our kids. Thank you for a great experience!

Peach ice cream. Pretzel went well with it

Very cute spot for lunch or snack. Not a giant menu but will have something you want to eat sandwiches, wraps and salads. I had a grilled cheese, came with kettle chips. The chicken corn soup was good with the noodles being homemade. Chicken salad sandwich on ciabatta was good. Waitress was really great answered our menu questions and had them specially get peach flavor ice cream from downstairs for us. We were on a peach ice cream hunt and this was the best of the four tried and it wasn't even on the ice cream trail we were following. Quite a few flavors to choose from for a smaller location. Bathroom was in a different section. Parking in rear with a cemetery behind it. Almost missed this shop as it is small front window but worth the search.

If I say a "little bit of Mayberry", who knows what I mean? If you do, you probably miss it a little. If you don't, I know a place you can go to experience it. Go have an ice cream "soder" as Gomer would say, or a malted milk shake, one of Barney Fife's favorites. Or if your hungry, "just get the special". If all this makes sense to you, or peaks your curiosity, then by all means, make a trip to this charming little gem that sits smack dab in the middle of the country town of New Holland, Pennsylvania. They have a full lunch and dinner menu, but they also serve delicious ice cream. Ice cream was where this family owned business first began. What started as an ice cream truck has grown into a multi generational family business that appreciates its roots and is deeply invested in their community. Tonight I went for ice cream and had the classic brownie sundae. Like a good Yelper, I should have taken pictures, but I got so excited I forgot to. I dug in and enjoyed every bit of the creamy deliciousness that smothered two large brownies. Our waitress was Danielle, a second generation family owner. She was pleasant and a joy to have wait on us. The coffee was hot, wasn't bitter and plenty of cream and sugar accompanied each cup. I have eaten here in the past and have enjoyed offerings on their regular menu. This is the kind of place that you meet people you know and catch up with; or, you leave having made new friends to catch up with later. As I sat and listened, families talked, people laughed, big band music played quietly in the background. The ambience was straight out of Andy Griffith. Charming, lovable and nostalgic. Across the globe right now, the world is in chaos, but for a few brief moments it was nice to step into a place where kindness and neighborliness was an intrinsic part of the experience. I'd recommend a trip to this little gem any day of the week. While you are there, thank the owners for raising a son who is serving his country in the United States Air Force. So call your favorite dinner date and go enjoy Lickity Split.

I didn't know that they have a drive-thru window which is kinda cool. There is a parking lot in the back of the building or the side. The inside was a little dim in some areas coming off more dingy than cozy but interior was all clean and cozy other than that. We were the only people eating there on a Saturday night at 6pm which is fine by us. TV had NASCAR racing on so it wasn't so quiet and awkward. The staff were nice; the girl who was our waitress checked on us and was kind. We ordered at the counter then sat. Service was not very quick to get our food considering how many orders they had for pickup/delivery/door-dash happening. We got a grandma pizza, garlic bread, chicken Caesar salad and two soft bottled drinks. The star of the show was the grandma pizza super delicious!! The chicken in the Caesar salad was cooked very well. That's a big thing to me is if the chicken is overcooked, undercooked, pre-frozen etc. This chicken tasted pretty fresh and not frozen. Overall, I would give this experience a 4/5 stars. We would come back.

We received a welcome greeting by a very friendly lady who gave us menus to look over. We got a really good feeling about who is running this spot. Ordering is at the counter and then you seat yourself. Drinks and table ware is self serve, but they do bring the food out to you. Everyone working there is very clearly out Italian so we expected very authentic authentic meals. The decor is nice, but the booth seating is fast food like. After a short wait the salads arrived, which were very good. I appreciated the sweet marinated peppers on mine. The dressing isn't homemade, but it is Ken's, which is close enough. We also received warm toasted garlic bread. We each ordered pasta. My spouse got the angel hair with marinara which she enjoyed. I had spaghetti with clams which were plentiful, although the whole thing was swimming in olive oil. Way to much for me. At the end of our meal a man brought over some complimentary fried dough balls rolled in sugar which was a nice touch. All in all a nice experience.

My little one enjoys the pretzels, ice cream and the fun playground and pond with ducks!
