This location is easy to find, located in a huge outdoor mall with lots of free parking. I like going into the store to "feel" or at least see how a product is prior to purchasing but they do have a lot more stuff on their website and they have an outlet store online as well. This REI has a good selection of items, everything is clean and organized and there's always an employee that will ask if you need help with anything. My last visit, I think 3-4 employees asked if I needed help with anything while I was browsing around. Hubby and I stopped by last year to check out their balance bikes and bike helmets for our son and the employee that was in charge of that area was super helpful and knowledgeable. We ended up purchasing an REI brand balance bike for him a month later for his birthday during their sale and I love how they have a trade in program for it. Don't quote me on it but you basically trade in your older, smaller one (I believe they have to be REI brand) and you get a percentage off (40%?) of the next size up. This is amazing because kids grow up so fast and I don't want to deal with storing outgrown sizes or the hassle of trying to re-sell them. The REI branded bikes feel pretty good in my opinion and my son is very happy with his bike and also his helmet we purchased from there. I also recently signed up for their membership program which is a one time fee of $30 which to me is well worth it even though I don't shop there that often. I believe when I signed up, you also get a $30 credit to spend so basically the membership's free! If you're in the market for camping and outdoorsy type products, definitely check out REI!

He looks me in the eyes, he asks about my playing, my strokes and then goes on to suggest the perfect strings to complement my strength and style. He asks if I can wait as he starts to work on my stuff with a smile. I have never seen this nor experienced this before." Cory you are a natural and really, genuinely connect with everyone. I am humbled and absolutely just so very, very grateful for you once again taking the time and talking to me and finding out about my history, feet anatomy and specific needs as I came in on May 14th for 2 pairs of athletic shoes - one for racquetball and the other for everyday wear. Ray Ray was the " abnormal" kid born with six toes on each foot( still got them) with five toes being fused together on the left foot causing just a few issues with walking, running and balancing the first 39 months of my awesome life. This is the first time in my life that someone( ie Cory) really had the patience, the care, the ear and the know how to help me. He brought up three pairs based on my size 12 and a 1/2 extra extra wide feet and the first two were perfect- fit, feel, color, comfort, mobility - everything!!! Cory once again delivered magnificently. 3 weeks later - June 5th, 2021 - Capitol City World Outdoor Racquetball Championship, Herndon, Virginia - won the gold in the Men's 3 Wall A Division Doubles. Thank you Cory, from the bottom of my heart.

Wish I could say, wow, great establishment BUT, that's not the case. To make a very long story…read moreshort, my sister in law came in from Michigan to look for a gown for her daughter's wedding. My daughter and I both got our gowns for my daughter's wedding at Mieka 3 years ago (no my daughter didn't wear a traditional gown, and yes, her gown was beautiful ). My sister in law found her perfect gown at Mieka. Fast forward 2 months. I picked up the gown to bring to Michigan for the bridal shower and much to my surprise/ shock the beading on the gown was totally different than the sample. The saleswoman's reply... that's the way the designer is doing it now, going on and on how beautiful it looked. After a few FaceTime calls to show it to my sister in law I ended up taking the gown with me. Many phone calls later and many attempts to get some resolve, my sister in law finally spoke with Kenny, the owner. He was going to send replacement beads and would not under any circumstances overnight them to her. According to him, he wasn't going to spend $100 for overnight delivery. In the end, what he sent was a joke . Must have gone to the local craft store to buy beads that didn't come close to matching what was on the gown. None of this should have occurred. As soon as the store received the gown from the designer and the difference was clearly visible, my sister in law should have been notified. It should have been her decision from the start as to what should be done. The owners' excuse for an attempt to resolve the situation was beyond inexcusable. I would never shop here again. There aren plenty of places that carry the same designers. Their customer service is terrible, their attitude and lack of any sense of concern is deplorable. I was embarrassed by their lack of real concern and saddened that my sister in law had to go through this unnecessarily and unpleasant experience.

shopping at Monkey Sports in Farmingdale should be a straightforward and enjoyable experience, and…read moreto be fair, many of the employees here are helpful, professional, and knowledgeable. Unfortunately, the entire experience is ruined by the store manager, Ryan Maloney. He is, without a doubt, the worst part of this store--clueless, unprofessional, and completely unfit for his role. as a manager, you'd expect him to have at least a basic understanding of the products, yet he seems to know absolutely nothing. Ask him a question about any type of gear, and you'll either get a completely incorrect answer or some bizarre, unhelpful remark that makes you wonder if he even knows what's in his own store. While other employees go out of their way to assist customers, Ryan seems more interested in making everything more difficult. to make matters worse, his demeanor is just plain uncomfortable. Instead of being professional and customer-friendly, he makes weird, off-putting comments that leave you wondering if he's deliberately trying to confuse or irritate people. What really crossed the line was when he made unsettling remarks toward both me and my son. Rather than focusing on helping us find what we needed, he seemed more interested in making awkward, unnecessary comments that had nothing to do with our shopping experience. It was uncomfortable, unprofessional, and completely unacceptable. on top of all that, he doesn't even seem capable of managing basic store operations. At one point, he actually pulled one of his employees away from helping another customer just so they could assist him with something--completely disregarding the fact that the customer had been waiting for help. Instead of leading by example, he comes off as lazy, unorganized, and completely out of his depth. and his appearance--because if you're expecting a manager who looks even remotely presentable, you're out of luck. Ryan strolls around the store in cheap Walmart sweatpants like he just rolled out of bed. It's honestly a shame because the rest of the staff here are great--they know their stuff, they're friendly, and they actually care about customer service. But with Ryan Maloney in charge, the entire store suffers. If Monkey Sports wants to maintain its reputation, they should seriously reconsider who they have running the place. Until then, I'd highly recommend taking your business elsewhere.
