I am caring for someone's animals while they are on vacation, out of country. I called Lien Animal Clinic to see if I could schedule a short (couple of minutes) conversation with the vet, as the cat I'm caring for has been constipated, and wanted to make sure I was caring for her properly: five minutes, or less, was all I needed. I left a message on their voice recording, and got a call back from the receptionist who suggested I call another clinic as they are booked this week. When I asked if it was possible to talk to the vet for a few minutes, she hung up on me! Unbelievable. read more

So I guess this place has been bought and man is it noticeable. I tried to schedule an appointment and the Pet Desk app stated no available appointments. Just for fun I put in a 2022 date and "no appointments available" so I sent an email that my dog is sick and needs to be seen. Their response was that their first opening is in three weeks but if my dog would like to be seen at another office sooner they would be happy to forward his records. No offer to be placed on a cancellation list. Their solution was for us to go to another office I understand times are hard with COVID but I don't think LIEN has a good handle on the office anymore. Just sucks because NO vet is taking new patients. So we have to wait three weeks for our sick dog to be seen and Just Hope that he doesn't escalate and get sicker. Service top to bottom from first call to check out is amazing. My dog who is very nervous at the vet post covid seems so much more comfortable with the staff and environment at Lien than her prior vet. They accept her comfort level where she is and get what needs to be done in a way that always leave her wiggling and happy afterwards. She loves Dr Phillips and tried to follow him out of the room. I also love that they focus heavily on preventative care at home. Staff all around too are kind, warm and exceedingly helpful. read more

We've taken our cat and dog to Lien for several years and they've always been a good practice. My estimation of them changed over these past few weeks however, as our 15 year old cat took a sudden health turn and we needed to be seen immediately. They were able to get us in, same-day, and while the news was what we feared, Lien could not have treated us or Camden (our cat) with any more care. Dr. Kitchen was wonderful, explained options but didn't push us on any expensive (and ultimately pointless) tests or treatments, and gave Camden meds and treatment enough to keep her comfortable for the next few days. They provided options for at-home euthanasia from different vets - never once tried to push us to come back in after the long weekend so they could make money. The techs and front desk staff dealt with the bill discretely, arranged for pickup from the crematorium, and today we even received a card from them with handwritten notes telling us they're thinking about us. They always took care of our animals in life, but it was during the worst part of pet ownership that they took care of us, the humans. I cannot recommend Lien enough. read more

I was told during my visit that my dog will need cytology labs and told me it would be $250 plus another $100 ($350 total) when they sent the labs out to be reviewed. I agreed to this work. As I checked out, I'm told I owe $500 because they selected the wrong cytology exam when they quoted me in the room. Instead of honoring the amount of $350, they came out and said "sorry" and still wanted me to pay $500. Finally they took out a charge for an "aspirate" because they said that's already included in a cytology exam, which still did not bring my amount down to $350. I lost all of my trust in them. Like first you misquote me and then you admit that you double charge for an aspirate. They should have honored the estimate they gave me in the room. read more

Dr. Phillips and the Lien Clinic are a disgrace to animal medicine, I urge you to consider taking your animal to a different clinic. Our dog was having major GI issues for a month leading up to our visit to Lien on 11/7. Dr. Phillips reviewed past notes and history, then punted us to an internal medicine doctor with no concrete plan to treat existing symptoms. On 11/8, symptoms worsened, I called Lien to update, they dismissed us and offered a prescription for medication we already had. After calling on 11/8, symptoms continued to worsen (vomiting blood), which required a trip to the emergency room where the doctor confirmed our dog was extremely sick and needed urgent care. You failed our family and you failed our dog. Please don't write some half hearted response to preserve your online reputation, instead consider being better as a clinic. read more

Beware! They strangled my dog!!!! I brought my chihuahuas for routine checkup and nail trim on 11/21, Dr Wolf didn't check her eyes and ears, she was busy selling vaccination packages to me. Then the staff brought her to another room for blood work and nail trimming, 15 minutes later, they brought her back and told me they only managed to trim a few nails because my dog was struggling, yet they still charged me 50% ($13.50) for nail trim despite not trimming half of her nails. And I realised my dog's neck was all bruised, and I believed they used something to restrained her and resulted to the bruises. Her leg was bruised as well due to blood work. I emailed them asking for explanation, they didn't bother to reply or call me back. read more

This is a TERRIBLE Veterinarian's office! They performed a botched neuter surgery on my daughter's 1 year old golden retriever. This every-day, simple surgery went way wrong, requiring this poor dog 2 more very extensive surgeries, elsewhere, of course. The attempt to fix the bacterial infections caused by Lien were very difficult to get through as pet owners and for the dog himself. She took her dog back to them, begging them to fix what they had done wrong, and they basically sent her away showing no compassion or attempt to fix their error. That is why she found another, much more reputable Veterinarian to help her through this. Now we find out this very costly endeavor, which they are 100% to blame for are refusing my daughter's dispute to attempt getting at least some of her money back. Do not use this Vet's office. It will be a mistake. read more

If you care about your animal companion, please listen. Lien used to be a wonderful, personal place; they've been bought up and it really shows. My 14 year-old dog was seen there from a puppy but when she was dying they weren't available. Corporate buyout. I was turned away when I needed them most. The Greentree Hospital helped me with everything when I truly needed guidance and compassion. They referred me to a vet who came to the house so I could be with my dog as she died. I truly wish I had given Greentree my business all these years - they were there for me when I needed them the most and that counts the most. LIEN IS BACK! We used to go to Lien and always loved them but had to go elsewhere around West Seattle as they got super busy. We visited again today for the first time in a while and the experience was so wonderful that I had to come here and share. Our dog has been suddenly spooked and not herself, not wanting to come near us, which is a huge change from her normal temperament. We were worried she's in pain and we weren't aware of it. I was also worried she would get very nervous in the office and not let anyone near her, causing whatever is wrong with her, to worsen. This was not the case! They helped us prepare her for her visit with some anti-anxiety meds and were prepared for our visit when we came in the room. My dog was more responsive than I've seen in a long time and it was refreshing to have the vet and assistant be so kind and warm, listen to all my concerns, and do a thorough checkup on my girl. My dog, who has been so standoffish and scared lately, let them touch her and even seemed to relax during her visit. I too felt so supported and comforted and I feel confident in their diagnosis; I'm relieved to know they were thorough and trust their recommendations. So thankful to have found Lien! We moved to Seattle from out of state and were so anxious to find a great vet for our Siberian Husky Maverick. We were fortunate Lien was the first place we decided to try because we have had nothing but great experiences. Within the last six or so months our dog has had multiple issues. Varying from a case of conjunctivitis to a possible auto immune disease, the continuous symptoms had left me extremely worried. But no matter what, every single person that I interacted with at Lien has done nothing but comforted me while trying to get to the bottom of his issues. They have made sure they made time for Maverick every time I've requested an appointment, answered all of my calls and frequent emails (I'm talking at least 3 a week) about symptoms and progress, and above all else they are so thorough with their diagnoses and treatment plans. They have been adamant about doing what is best for him while making sure his treatments are done in the most cost effective way. I am so grateful that they care about him as much as I do. Well hot dog, I am impressed. Today I had my first appt here. I had been taking my English bulldog to another nearby vet, and didn't get a warm feeling from them. They just weren't sweet to my pup, overall standoffish, and with corona virus- since we can't go inside with him- they just grabbed him without talking to him, giving him a pat, etc. and he was terrified coming back. Lien was the exact opposite. They were so happy to see my pup, it's like they were excited to be there to help. They asked me lots of questions before taking him and talked to him as he walked. Then, my update phone call from the vet was so reassuring. His mannerism was professional and upbeat, he knew his stuff. And, he seemed to genuinely appreciate my pup. He provided a lot of details, answered all my questions (and asked his own!), and didn't make me feel rushed. I also like that I talked to the actual vet- not just the front desk- unlike my former vet. On top of that, this was my first vet visit in almost a year that wasn't $200. The check up was fairly priced and so was the medication. I will be recommending and coming back again! read more

Thank you Dr. Keri Dertinger. Our Rottweiler mix had been our loyal companion for over a decade when his health went bad and he became terminal. We tried to give him as much comfort as we could. He would eat but didn't gain weight. His weight had declined. He tried to keep his dignity but he was to weak. He had developed a large tumor on his head and went blind. He tried his hardest to be the best he could be. It was hard to see him like that. We finally did what was the hardest thing to do. You and your staff were understanding and professional and helped us to say good bye in the most compassionate way. You let us bring him in on a very short notice. I took my dogs in for updated vaccines so they can be boarded. After a wellness exam, they told me my dogs needed urgent dental surgery for thousands of dollars. We did the surgery but they forgot to update all the vaccines on their records so we were turned away from our pet hotel the night before a 6am flight. read more

I like many others got a puppy during the pandemic. It was hard to find a vet that would take new clients. After 2 years with them I really don't have anything great to say. None of the staff are friendly. Not one. It's hard to get appointments. They are very expensive. There is a wait list for everything. Want to get your animal fixed or teeth cleaned? They are constantly booked out 3 months and then taking names for a wait list. I would really try to find another vet. You will not be happy here. Good luck. read more

We've taken our dog to Lien since we adopted him 3 years ago. He has always received the highest quality of care from each doctor we've had the pleasure of working with. The staff are equally as helpful and delightful. Today, during the COVID-19 outbreak, our dog required care. The team at Lien did an excellent job working quickly with online tools to expedite a diagnosis and care plan. In particular, Dr. Seipel, did a great job with our online appointment and assessment. Simply the best! Amazing staff giving phenomenal care. Human health care could learn some things from Lien for sure. Perfect example a friend of mine found a lost pet and called another local clinic closer to them about getting the dog scanned for a chip. That clinic said they were too busy to take the time to do so. They called Lien next who not only said they could do it right away, they were happy to keep the puppy there until the owner could pick it up. They only negative is extremely small parking lot, but there is ample street parking within an easy walk. They will also special order dog food in jumbo sized bags if you call ahead, so no need for an additional stop :) read more

I've been taking my pets to Lien for years because they had amazing knowledgeable caring doctors. Since the management change, all those doctors left Lien one by one. They recently refused to treat my pets... I got an icky feeling from them lately. Being a person of color, you can feel when you're not welcome some place. I haven't felt that way in years... people of color, any one who love their pets,.. I would strongly suggest that you do not entrust your pets' well-being here. read more

We took our cat to Lien for two veterinary checkups, which were okay experiences, if not inspiring. After an absolutely terrible boarding experience, we will be taking our business elsewhere and advising friends & family to do the same. When looking for cat care for an upcoming camping trip, we decided to try Lien's boarding services, given the COVID concerns with our usual in-home sitter. We talked extensively with their office about what the service entails: we were told that the cats were not supervised constantly, but that staff were in and out of the room all day, that cats were allowed ample time outside of their kennels, and that they would be weighed daily and updates provided to the owners at frequent intervals. Sounds great, right? The actual boarding experience started out terribly and only went downhill from there. When dropping our kitty off, we were told that he could not keep anything with him--not even his favorite soft bed due to COVID. The tech checking us in blatantly told us that she "has had cats for 11 years, and would NEVER board her cats here." She then informed us that what we were told on the phone was not an accurate description of their services. With plans to leave for our trip the next day, we made the decision to go through with the boarding, thinking that this was a veterinary practice after all--at a minimum, they should know how to take care of cats, right? During the first three days of our trip, we received no updates from the vet, save those that we called & requested. We received reports that they "had to pull our cat out from his carrier" because he was scared and didn't want to go in his kennel. We were told that he wasn't eating at all--then that he was eating; then, contradicting themselves: "he hasn't eaten since you dropped him off three days ago, and don't you know that cats can become terminally ill if they don't eat for two days?" After listening to the same tech repeat on the phone "she'd never board her cats here" and "their intra-staff communication has been a bit rough during COVID" we reached out to a friend who was able to pick our cat up and take him home while we canceled our trip and started driving back. This all occurred at the end of July. I'm happy to recognize that we all have been impacted by COVID in still-to-be-recognized ways, but 5-months into a pandemic, you should have your shit together better than this, particularly if you're going to offer services like this. Stop offering boarding, and stop lying about what the service actually entails, until you can get your house in order. Would leave a 0-star review if it was an option. read more

I am writing this with a heavy heart. I grew up in West Seattle up the street from the clinic and my family has taken all of our pets there through the last three decades but this clinic is no longer providing us with reliable and trustworthy care so we are we will be taking our furry family members elsewhere. The reason I am writing this review is because of the culmination of many let downs in service over the past few years. 1. They no longer answer their phone. Since when does a veterinarian clinic not answer their phone? We have called many times over the past two years in distress that our cat couldn't urinate or that our dog was sick and not eating and had to wait hours for a response. Meanwhile we would often take our pet to an emergency clinic because we knew they would give our pets care right away or at least answer their phone. This lack of answering the phone is a common complaint I noticed and is unacceptable and completely ridiculous. Is it so hard to answer the calls of your clients? 2. We never get to see the same vet. Why isn't there continuity of care? Their vets are so overbooked that you have to schedule weeks in advance to see your regular vet. Every time we take our cat or dog in for an acute health issue it's with whoever is available. We rarely see the same vet twice. We have to tell them the entire health history of our pets over and over again. They don't even take good notes. An example is that we have been in multiple times for our kitty who gets urinary blockages and told them he had an emergency "reconstructive" surgery down there. When the vet went to examine him he asked us how long have you had your cat? Your male cat may be a "she". I can't seem to find his penis. We had told them he had a special surgery but that apparently slipped their notes. We just felt this little mistake was rather ridiculous since we've been taking our cat there his entire life. 3. Expensive. This clinic is probably the most expensive veterinary clinic we've seen here in West Seattle and they keep increasing their rates. The basic wellness exam which is useless by the way is increased every year by $5. Why if you increase your rates every year can't you hire enough staff to answer the phone or have open slots for emergency appointments? I have felt nickel and dimed here for the past 10 years. My parents feel the same way. This clinic is extremely expensive for the care they give. They check temperature, weight, and that's pretty much it. Then they proceed to look up diagnosis's online when they don't have answers. It's pretty ridiculous. For the amount they charge you they shouldn't be getting their diagnosis's from "google ". And they force you to have a useless wellness exam to even buy flea medicine. An example of this is we have two rare breed purebred dogs with very breed specific chronic health problems and the vets look up our dogs breed online every time we're in the see what answer they can give us. So after this long explanation we've decided since this clinic seems more concerned with the "bottom line" and less in customer service and reliable care we will be taking our two dogs and cat elsewhere. Go here and be forewarned. They seem nice and caring at first interaction but they will let you down. read more

My dog, Zoe, is a rescue and extremely leery of going to the veterinarian for anything. She panics and becomes defensive if she's forced into doing something too quickly, or separated from me. After trying several local veterinarians, I decided that Lien Animal Clinic was the most accommodating. Dr. Wolf was always extremely patient with Zoe and administered vaccines in the exam room, never separating Zoe from me. Zoe was appreciative and while she still didn't enjoy the experience, the defensiveness was a non-issue. Dr. Wolf knew exactly how to handle the situation. Recently, it came time for Zoe's annual wellness exam and vaccines. I was reminded via email and phone numerous times. I called and spoke to a staff member about what this looks like mid-pandemic and was nervous to find out that owners are not allowed to accompany their pets inside the clinic. I explained the situation and asked about the possibility of Dr. Wolf administering the vaccines outside, but I was told that wasn't an option. The staff member wanted me to schedule a visit for that Friday, but I told them that I wasn't sure and was going to have to think it over. After thinking about it over the weekend, I decided that I was going to trust the staff and Dr. Wolf, so I requested an appointment online for the coming week. The next day I received a text message from a staff member named Danielle, that read, "This is your care team at Lien Animal Clinic. Your appt. request was received. We remain limited in our capacity to deliver wellness services at this time. Do you have any concerns you need addressed or are you ok with being added to the wait list? Please know vaccines have at least a 3 month window of effectiveness past the due dates listed. We are working diligently to triage patient due dates and get everyone on the list scheduled. Thank you for understanding!" I decided to call for clarification, no answer, so I left a voicemail. They called me back later that day and told me that they were unable to schedule an appointment for Zoe at this time, they couldn't even put anything on the calendar for several months out. I explained what had happened the week before, but I was told things had changed. I even explained that Zoe has a prescription issued by them for Apoquel (allergies / she'll lick her paws until they're bleeding) that was recently refilled, but due to expire within the month, and they won't issue a refill until she has had an annual exam. The person I was speaking to seemed unconcerned and told me there was nothing they could do, and that they were sorry for the inconvenience. Getting Zoe's allergies under control has been a five year battle and starting over isn't an option. I told them that if they couldn't help me I'd need Zoe's medical records, so I could go elsewhere. They promptly sent the records over and I scheduled an appointment at Lake Union Veterinary Clinic. They said that they were busy, but they could definitely see Zoe within two weeks. They also commented that it was odd that Lien wouldn't refill Zoe's prescription without an annual exam, but refuse to schedule one. I've brought multiple dogs to Lien Animal Clinic for six years. Now it seems that they don't value my loyalty, or the well-being of my dogs. A once exemplary practice has gone downhill and I'm voting with my feet. I recently adopted another dog, for whom I purchased the Lien "puppy package" for, which I'm regretting now. After she's spayed we'll be taking her elsewhere as well. And to top it all off, I'm still receiving reminder emails daily about Zoe's upcoming needs (can't seem to unsubscribe). All around disappointing. read more

We brought out 15yr old Golden Retriever here due to skin allergies that we couldn't get figured out for the last couple of years. After a handful of vets, and thousands of dollars, Pounder finally got some relief! Thank you to Dr. Zawacki as she listened to our concerns and spent time with us, rather than just writing the prescription and sending us on our way. I saw Dr Tweed for two years while living in Seattle with my pug and french bulldog. She has been the best vet I have ever dealt with and is so knowledgeable about brachycephalic dog breeds. When walking you through diagnostic specifics she always made sure to provide options and ask for my own preferences in treating my dogs (i.E. trying more natural approaches to start). I moved to the east coast in late 2017 and even now Dr Tweed still checks in with me to see how Henry and George are doing, and offers help and advice. The best! read more

Lien Animal Clinic is not what it used to be. I have happily taken my dogs to Lien for six years, yet they have changed in the past couple of years. It is extremely difficult to get an appointment and they pass you off to other clinics even when my dogs have been in urgent situations. Their prices have increased while their level of service has decreased. They recently have started to push extra services like teeth cleaning while not being available for basic or urgent care needs. The doctors are nice when you can get to them, but the overall care has left me looking for another clinic. read more

If you've taken the time to read to this short post, you've taken too much time deciding whether or not to take your pet here - they are simply amazing. Do it. Thoughtful, knowledgeable, compassionate, and they not have become dull or numb to animals coming through the door. It could be very easy to lose empathy in their role....this never happens. I just picked up my two guinea pigs from Lien. Today was their second annual wellness check-up and second tooth trimming. We love Lien! The first time we went, Dr. Kraabel saw one of my pigs for a broken tooth. We were able to get an appointment quickly, and at that time scheduled a follow-up for both to get trimmings the next day. When he had a runny nose and eye gunk around the holidays, we weren't able to be seen, but got the appropriate medication prescribed. Today's visit checkup was wonderful. We showed up a bit early, but Dr. Wolf saw us quickly and commented on a bit of weight loss. I was able to leave them there for the day when I had to go to work, and thanks to their AWESOME hours, I picked them up in the evening. Dr. Kraabel called after their trimming to explain they didn't need full sedation (yay for saving money) and explained how the procedure went. They were happy and alert when I came to take them home. I love having a vet in the West Seattle area who can take care of our pocket pets. Thank you to everyone at Lien! I went to Lien's a long time ago to see how my yorkie was with a collapsed trachea. I adopted Sara when she was already sick, and I wanted her to be taken care of by the very best. Then when Jessica got ill, I was seeing another Vet for about 25 years. A long story, but they didn't care about my family; Jessica & Chloe'. So, I went back to Lien's. Everyone is wonderful at Lien, they care about my fur babies & me. Someone just called from Lien, I left them a message for tomorrow, but they called me just now. If you're looking for compassionate care, you should look elsewhere. My dog of nearly 14 years was being treated here for the past few months. Things took a dramatic downturn a couple weeks ago, and a specific Doctor and I had a conversation about what I was thinking about for her eventual final days. TLDR, communication and facts weren't properly known, and the house call that was supposed to happen with the vet treating her did not because the vet couldn't leave the office due to understaffing on the weekend. This despite having a conversation a few days ago where the doctor gave me their work schedule in order to prepare for this difficult time. We even talked about giving as much notice as possible - which I have about 24 hours. Hell, I even suggested maybe a house call could be done after their office closed at 130 so she could leave the earth with someone who knew and treated her. Still a solid "no" from the vet practice and doctor, this time without any answer as to why they couldn't make this accommodation. ...and I live ten minutes away from the vet. Upset is an understatement. These folks lack basic compassion during the most difficult time. I raved about this practice when I established care here 4 years ago, mostly because of Dr. Wolf. As of late, I have been very dissatisfied with their customer service and availability. Dr. Wolf remains the only good thing about this practice. A few examples. A few months ago, I ordered a renewal of my dog's medication online. I had correspondence with a team member after the order but never received my order and had to bring it up at the next visit. Apparently, it got forgotten. Recently (early March) I called to schedule a yearly exam and updated vaccinations for my 2nd dog. The front desk lady was very cordial but they didn't have any availability until May!!!!! May!!!! She finally offered me an appt end of April and then told me I had 3 time slots to choose from. If there is no availability, how is there multiple time slots to choose from on the day I was offered?! Finally, one of my dogs is very old and has recently become ill (not eating, minimal activity, excreting liquid, etc). He doesn't seem to be in pain but I think it may be close to his time given the sudden change in health. I call the clinic when they open at 8am and no answer so I leave a message with details and request a call back. Didn't hear all morning. Tried to call again at 9, 930, 945, and 1037 - no answer. I finally got a hold of someone around noon and explained what has been going on with my dog (a long term patient) and ask for an add on urgent care visit given the seriousness of his change in health. They said they are at capacity both today and tomorrow with no possible room to add Oji to the schedule. They are now closed weekends. They recommended I go to the vet ER. So, how am I supposed to feel when they can't accommodate my dog / their long time patient who likely doesn't have much time left and may not make it though the weekend. These last few months now have me looking for a new vet. read more

This place has been a great find for our pets. The attention they give to their patients is nothing short of amazing. One of the first vets/clinics I've even come across that genuinely seems to care. Your pet isn't just a number here. We decided to give Lien a try after going for a number of years to another area vet, and we're glad we did. We'll be switching our other pets to this clinic as well. read more

Can't say enough about this amazing vet. From reception to the vet techs to the vets themselves, everyone I have worked with has been fantastic. It's sometimes hard to get in right away since they are so popular, but definitely worth the wait. I especially love that they have rugs on the floor in all the exam rooms, a comfy spot for your dog to sit! I have mixed feelings about this place. I will still go back when my dog needs care, so my issues aren't enough to switch vets. To put context around this review, I look more critically at businesses that provide services that are really important to me; where the consequences of a mistake might be that I eat a bad meal vs. a medical mistake, my expectations are higher when reviewing the latter. On the pro side: There is genuine caring here, which is a big deal when your pet is stressed out by a trip like this. And I've trusted the medical advice that I've gotten (we've seen a variety of providers here, all good). The vet techs, who end up doing most of the basic handling on a standard visit, are great and really care about us. The overall feel is comfortable (again, important for my high-strung dog). On the con side: It is disturbing to me that they have a tough time keeping track of details. I've asked about details from prior visits (specific items we've purchased, care we've received, etc) and it takes a long time to get an email response, and often it doesn't adequately answer my question. So I called, to ask more questions, and got incorrect information back. I only figured it out by digging up an old receipt. I now realize I just need to keep those documents easily accessible instead of relying on the roulette of who answers the phone / email. On another occasion, I had approved an additional procedure while my dog was under anesthesia, and they did not perform it. They stated they were confused about whether I had approved it, but I never received a call asking to clarify, and they seemed to not know what I was talking about when I asked about it, after which I got a call that they thought I had not approved. We're not talking negligence or anything like that! We will still go here - I just need to adjust my expectations somewhat. The level of caring is genuine, and that means a lot. read more

Our 8 yr old lab mix was dying from stage 5 lymphoma. She really needed fluids to help her remain comfortable. Our usual vet is in Capitol Hill and we didn't want to drive her if we didn't have to so they called in a request for fluids to Lien. I called Lien to find out when the fluids would be ready, we explained our dog is dying and is dehydrated. They said they were working on it but were short staffed; they said they would call us when it was ready. They NEVER called. They NEVER filled the request. They didn't call the next day or even the day after that. We ended up piling her into the car to make the long trek to Cap Hill so that she could get the fluids she needed. Based on this outright lack of caring, we will never take our animals to Lien. read more

I have complete confidence in Lien. After originally going to a different clinic, we came to Lien to get a second opinion on some issues my kitty was having (swollen lip, fur falling out), and I was completely distraught. Dr. Duyungan set my mind at ease and laid out all the options available for her. It turned out to just be stress and allergies, and we left with some paperwork and the Dr. told me to check out the indoor pet initiative website which has given us some great ideas for helping our kitty through this stressful period. Since then, we have had our six month old puppy spayed at Lien, and they called and gave us almost hourly updates about her health and recovery while she was there overnight (I think they could tell we were helicopter parents) and took amazing care of her. Their online pet portal keeps a record of your pets' appointments, medications, Dr. notes, and diet, and you can sign up for email alerts and appointment reminders. I really, really, really love this clinic! read more

Great place, and very friendly staff and vets! The only reason I'm not giving them 5 stars is because we've only been there once. I have to say, though, I'm impressed so far! Dr. Fisher thoroughly explained everything he was doing, and was willing to discuss any pros and cons of certain vaccinations, instead of pushing everything on us to make more money. He didn't try to push Science Diet on us, either, and seemed more knowledgeable about nutrition than most other vets I've talked to. Bonus: several of the vets and staff are alumni of the WSU School of Veterinary Medicine we got several compliments on my dog's "Go Cougs" collar. read more
