Chicken pad Thai, chicken satay, spring rolls are the bomb!!! Favorite Thai place in the area, I would highly recommend :)

The restaurant is hidden in plain sight - good food, matches the Thai restaurant vibes for sure. Reservations are recommended but walk ins are also cool. The staff are friendly in inquiring about the allergies and provide recommendations. The noodles and thai basic fried rice are up to the par and would recommend trying it for sure. My experience with the fried ice cream was not great. The place is at the corner - drive slow or there is a high chance you will miss the turn for the exit. read more

Food - 6.5/10 Service - 8.5/10 Clean Bathroom The workers were really sweet, my friend was running later but they let me wait until she came. I think the water in infused cucumber or something but my water definitely had a strong taste of it, it was almost minty but my friend's cup had very slight flavor of it. The food was a little disappointing for the price. I got the Ga Prow with beef but tasted no spice in it. There was definitely a good amount of flavor with it though but you do need to pay extra for rice so the total for dinner was $24 for the dish plus $2.50 for rice. It is a decent serving though, you can definitely eat 2 portioned meals with it if you want but I did expect more for the spice. The Spicy Basil Stir Fry was the dish that was a little disappointing, it lacked flavor, you can actually taste a slight spice but the dish in general was lacking. It was a little too oily almost too wet. Both dishes had a lot of vegetables so if you don't really like a variety of them I wouldn't recommend. read more

We showed up and this place seemed closed. It was late in the afternoon but not quite dinner time, though, so we figured they were getting ready for the evening crowd. Food was excellent! We had reservations on a Saturday night and probably didn't need them as the restaurant was basically dead at 6 pm. Maybe they're busy later on a Saturday night? They should be...between the six of us we ordered Pad Thai, Basil Pad Thai, mango fried rice, pineapple fried rice, lemongrass curry and mango curry...interestingly, we all chose chicken as a protein. As far as I could tell, everyone was happy with their meal. My lemongrass curry had just the right level of spice but could have been a tad more lemongrassy. She loved the Crazy Noodles and I alternated between chicken yellow curry (excellent!) And pad Thai (very good). We also got many various appetizers (all were very good to excellent). I just happened to see this business while driving by and later returned for lunch. I do enjoy Thai cuisine. I ordered green papaya salad and chicken satay. Both were excellent. Papaya salad was among the best I have had and beautifully presented. Satay was 4 large, moist pieces, served with the typical peanut sauce. Service was friendly and attentive. Ambience was clean and decoration was understated. They were letting the food speak for the restaurant. I would certainly rate the food 5 stars, but need to return and sample other offerings before submitting a 5 star rating. I expect it will be appropriate after my next visit. White Coconut has quickly become our favorite go-to Thai place! All the food we've tried is delicious. Standouts include the seaweed salad, Massaman and Green Curries, Pad Thai, and the spring rolls. They also have sushi and some other dishes, which I'm looking forward to trying. Everything is freshly prepared and the seasoning is perfect. I have had at better Thai places. We were here for dinner.Food was ok.The Thai iced tea was way too sweet. No issues with the service. We ordered minced chicken curry and fried rice with tofu. The Fried rice was decent. They took a long time to take our orders. It was long considering there were very few people dining in the restaurant. Did not get a chance to try the drinks. Wish I have an option to write a totally different review just for the lunch! Stopped by for lunch allong with a friend and found the place bubbling with people and hot food! There is an new section of the restaurant we got seated at. It was spacious and bright. The service was quick inspite of the rush and the food was good. The khao soi gai is amazing. Very authentic creamy curry broth with noodles (yellow egg noodles and crispy fried noodles on top. Crispy ones were the best!) and chunks of chicken. BUT, the yummy noodle was not yummy. In fact, far from yummy. It just tasted really off and odd. My husband regretted ordering this while I devoured my entire bowl of khao soi gai. This is one of our favorite places, but the list is dwindling. Staff shortages, food quality, etc... White Coconut is the exception, the food is great, service is exceptional, and the ambiance is welcoming. Not overwhelmingly loud like most places these days. The staff are extremely friendly and very attentive. A lot of take out orders says the food is good, now it's time for people to find this gem and enjoy a nice quiet date night dinner. I went in because of the good reviews. Everytime I go for new restaurant I always order the obvious menu to give them a chance to show their specialty if it worth to go back to try other menu. So I had the egg roll, and pad thai since they are thai restaurant. I ate a bunch of pad thai in so many different thai restaurant and Chinese. This pad Thai is sooo sweet and super sticky. Oddly is the noodle is undercook. I have to add bunch of chilli to kill the sweetness and finish the dish, because it's pretty pricey for a pad Thai that I typically get. The egg roll just ok, it's not great or very bad. I wont go back to try more. Why? If you can't do right with your pad thai, hows others besides the price!!! $10 for a vegetarian summer roll, that they cut in 4 I had a great summer roll from vietnamese restaurant 2rolls for $6 with shrimp and pork in it. read more

I love this Thai restaurant! I'm so happy it had better success than Lemon Tee Cafe which was what White Coconut replaced (was here for ages)! To be honest, I usually get takeout from them. I might be a little biased because they literally are right down the street for me. Anything you order is delicious. They can modify the spice level for you. I am a wimp with spice, and they have always accommodated me. My favorite go to dishes are: Curry Puffs - not too doughy, not too spicy Crab Rangoons- the portion of wonton to filling is even. Not too much wonton. Crazy Noodles - you can pick whatever protein of your choice with spice levels And my new favorite: Khao Soi Gai - Egg noodles with chicken in a spicy curry peanuty sauce with crunchy wontons on top. I originally gave this restaurant 2 stars because I don't think the person that greeted me was honest with me. Place seemed half full but she asked if I was "only 1" for lunch, she told me they're very busy and it would be at least 35 min for food to be prepared. I left feeling that she didn't want to use up a table on only one customer, during the peak lunch hour. As luck would have it, a couple of the guys in my training class decided they wanted Thai for dinner, and I decided to go along and give the place another chance. Glad I did. After having a good look inside, the place is much smaller than my initial impression and I can understand the reluctance to give up a table to just one client, at peak hour. The three of us agreed the food was quite tasty and they serve up a good sized helping of each dish. Service was friendly and efficient and the manager came over to check on our satisfaction. Such a fucking waste of time... I'm in a hotel, I order my meal and it comes with no silverware I call to let them know that maybe they should put silverware with their orders. I am dealing with a gentleman that doesn't give a shit... Telling me that people complain when they get silverware... Who's gonna complain if they get silverware. They're rude,they don't give a shit about the customers. There are 1 million restaurants that you can order from besides them. Please do me a favor and don't ever order from this restaurant again. This Thai place is very good. I enjoyed everything we tried here. The beef skewers were super tender and delicious. I ate all the drunken noodles before I remembered to take a photo. The Thai tea was really good and I liked the flower in the straw. Something so simple adds a lot of value to meal presentation. Crab Rangoon was good too but I couldn't tell if it was imitation crab so I did not eat many although I really wanted to. Definitely coming back to try more things! I keep asking myself: "what makes Thai food?" Whilst on the hunt for answers, I took a crack at White Coconut. Parking here is limited, but I think there's parking on the side. It almost feels like there's more seat here than parking available. Because the server was too eager to make an order, as well as take my plate away, I went for the Massaman Curry (it was on the last page I was able to peruse). Surprisingly, the dish came out really quick. I love the sweetness of the curry. It also had mixed vegetables and chicken in there as well. There were other options for the curry besides chicken. I love curry broth that is both spicy and sweet and will definitely keep this place as an option. The only downside is the service here, came repeatedly to take away my plate. It's always a treat to visit like coconut! We were extremely pleased with how quickly we got in and were seated at a table. The restaurant was very quiet on Sunday afternoon but that made it even easier for our family to enjoy. Our family loved the coconut soup with tofu, the yellow curry and pad Thai entrées we ordered. The dishes are huge! We had them pack up leftovers and carried them home for dinner. Before getting home and digging into the leftovers, we ordered two orders of mango sticky rice, which was absolutely delicious! The mango was nice and firm but juicy and the sticky rice was just the right temp and texture. Outside of the food, the wait staff was attentive and very polite to engage with. The bathrooms were clean and smelled nice. The only negative side to eating at this restaurant with a Baby is that the men's restroom is not equipped with a changing table so my husband actually took my daughter outside and changed her in the back of the car as he wanted me to be able to relax and enjoy my meal. read more

Really good. Can't believe we haven't gone sooner! Staff was friendly over the phone and in person, they easily accommodated a gluten allergy. We got Tom Yum Soup, Panang Curry, and Crazy Noodles. All were fantastic but the Panang was so rich in flavor, oh my god! We will be coming back for sure, I'll update this review if/when we try their sushi menu. Edit 2/11/21: Been about a month and we've gone through all but one of the curries on the menu. I have to say I am really satisfied with the amount and variety of vegetables in each curry, they're well thought out and paired well with the flavors of each dish. The green curry is my favorite as I'm a spice addict! Gonna move to try other dishes next! We tried the sushi and for the most part it was good (we didn't get any specialty rolls, just the basics). Their spicy tuna and spicy salmon are seemingly brined or marinated in a spicy sauce, not what I was expecting for those rolls (I'm used to smaller bits of fish in a spicy Mayo sauce). I wouldn't get the sushi again because I feel they have better offerings on the Thai side, but it's one of the few options in the area and definitely the best one by a mile. Four stars for sushi. Finally, the seaweed salad was really good. Trust me, just order it with whatever else you're getting. Even if the pairing doesn't make sense, it's that good. read more

Update: I read on yelp that they deliver. I was psyched! Called to order and was told there was a minimum delivery fee (believe $40). I declined. Within minutes the woman called me back and asked me to pick it up. Ummm, getting delivery for a reason. Told her my child was sick and I wasn't going out and she suggested grubhub. Ok, come on lady, do u need my order that bad? I was annoyed but kids were starting to whine so I reluctantly ordered. Shouldn't be too hard to get to $40 for 1 adult, 2 kids. I ordered, food arrived and to my surprise a much larger bill than anticipated. Delivery charge! What? Seriously? Then, to top it off, the food was not nearly as good as when I ate at the restaurant. The crispy rolls appetizer was pretty good. It was a Saturday night and the place was virtually empty. The Crazy Noodle was a huge disappointment. It was rated as a 2 out of 5 on spice level range by the waitress. We asked for medium. Well this was the kind where you had to drink water after every bite. It was more like 5 out of 5. Also, the noodles themselves were very thick. The peppers were very thick and large too. The calamari was extremely chewy. We mentioned the spice level to the waitress, and she came back with a packet of sugar to add to the crazy noodle. No thanks. The wine was good, and reasonable in price. Tried it on a chance...didn't let us down. In town for business and needed a quick close by place for lunch. Establishment is located right on the corner. It's a mall place with big sign, but if you are not looking, you could miss it. Plenty of parking on premises. Very clean and presentable place. Looking at the snide decor and menu, I though it was going to be a little expensive, but I was proven wrong -- the portions are very generously large. I ordered the Pan Thai and I could have just about made two meals...but since I eat a lot, it was just right. I ordered chicken pan thai and co-worked order beef pan thai. We both killed them without second thought. Everything about it was good. Food was good. Service is excellent and top notch. I like my Thai food with a little kick.
