My physical experience with the process/procedures went very well. Each clinician was very efficient, professional, and gave an overview of what they would be doing. I was not so satisfied with the up front registration process, the pricing process and incomplete info about membership, annual renewal and my having to call back to get clarification on things that should have been revealed in the outset. Adequate screening (don't have the results yet), but it was unprofessional. The two ultrasound techs talked about a car purchase during my screening and basically ignored me. I would have expected them to at least tell me what they were doing and talk to me instead of each other. Also, while I was waiting rock music was playing on a little boom box instead of something more relaxing, such as instrumental or classical. Worse yet, after a couple of minutes, "Highway to Hell" by AC/DC came on and played. This was in a church! When I mentioned that to the check in person she said "I'll get right on that" and didn't change anything. I'll have to wait to see if I would ever do it again. read more

This is an economical way of checking on your cardiac and circulatory health. Worries and concerns are alleviated if the reports are good. If a concern is revealed, perhaps you have avoided a much more serious problem in the future. You have facts to work on no matter the outcome. All of the operation was professionally conducted. My only concern was with the survey done after the test. My device announces that the Internet application was not a secure site. That is a serious concern. read more

I have used Life Line Screening twice. The first time I used Life Line Screening the process with the people preforming the test was fine and when they discovered something, they again took their time and preformed the ultrasound on my abdomen slower and got a better reading. This time the process was very rushed, hardly giving me enough time to zip up my clothing before moving to the next test. I was rushed through the entire process, and it was a conveyor like experience with the staff snatching off the cuffs on my calf before even getting a reading-which is why my report showed: Unable to evaluate pressure in right leg due to being unable to compress. This was because the cuff was quickly detached before even the results could be read. My LifeLine screening experience was positive until I received the email - days after the screening - that stated there would be a $15 additional fee if I wanted a paper copy of my test results-the previous times I received a LifeLine screening, the paper copy results were mailed in a timely fashion and were free. There are a lot of seniors who are unable or have difficulty accessing records online. I don't think LifeLine is considerate of their target population and appears more concerned with $ than having patients readily access their records to share with other health professionals. read more

The receptionist was friendly and excellent. The women that worked behind the curtains were not. One of which was so rude we had a bit of an argument. The receptionist was not the friendliest person I have ever had contact with, but the wait was not too bad and most of the technicians were friendly and explained what they were doing. One of the technicians was in training and the person overseeing that training walked off and left her to her own devices for about 15 minutes or more. I was never told I was in the hands of a trainee until I brought it up. She was not able to complete the test and finally the experienced technician came back and finished up. Frankly, I was frustrated and angry because I was there with my husband and he was kept waiting in the waiting area with no explanation of why I was taking so long to complete my tests. I was also upset that the trainee was treated with such disrespect. I'm sure she needed the job, but if that had been me I would have told them to keep their job and I would have quit. In addition the facility was very cold and then they left the doors open to the outside on a cold and windy day, DUH!!! read more

I have had a Life Line Screening before and the experience was excellent. I don't know if people didn't show up to work, but my husband waited 2.5 hours to complete the basic 4 scans. It took me 2 hours to do the same thing in the afternoon. The first time, we went straight through the scans, this time, we would do a scan and then go back and wait. The workers were ok, the person checking people in was also covering one of the scans so she was 'short' with people a couple of times - which is understandable. I don't like all the upselling of additional scans on-site and before the screening day. I will more than likely not use this again. read more

I felt like the technicians were rushing and distracted. I was on time for my appointment, but waited an additional 30 minutes for procedures. I was the last client of the day so the staff started dismantling the screens and packing up while I was waiting for my final procedures. I had an appointment for my screening at 11:15am and had to wait until 12:30pm to be screened. The screening was done effectively and all 4 of my tests took only about 20 minutes. The staff was very courteous and friendly. The only bad point was the extremely long waiting time and we were not informed as to why the time was so long. read more

Life Line Screening tests are fine. However, they put me on an annual membership plan that automatically charges $197. I never do annual renewals so I know that they either put something in fine print or hid the fact that there was an annual renewal fee. I was unable to get them to reverse the charge even though I called them on the exact day they made the charges. As a result of their poor customer service, they have lost a 10-year customer. I'll cancel my membership and I'll never use their services again. You can't trust them. read more

Saw the 1,000 ads and decided to give it a try... even discussed it with my doctor ahead of time. Doctor wasn't thrilled about it said my blood work shows more information. I went ahead with it anyway... it was at a church. They had some privacy screens up, but some parts of it you were mixed in with other people so that wasn't good.. you go to station after station but I wasn't told that so you just kind of figure that out. You're pushed along like cattle very much just a number. The nurses did not care about you at all. At 50 I was the youngest person there definitely a much older crowd. Would not recommend this- get the service through your Dr and have insurance cover it. read more

Appointment was set at 1:10 PM. I arrived 15 minutes earlier. After waiting about 20 minutes, around 1:30 PM another individual walked in and was lead straight into the testing cubical ahead of me. Why set an appointment if that's not going to be honored? Then, the individual who conducted the second test kept asking another technician for instructions on how to conduct the test. It seem she did not know what she was doing. To be honest, it seem a very improvised and unprofessional staff, not to mention the cost $178 for 2 tests. I would not recommend this company! read more

I was very disappointed that my membership of 5 years was not the same as it had been previously. I was told that certain tests were no longer included in my VIP package, so I am paying the same price for less tests. The customer service lady tried to convince me this was an upgrade. How could paying the same price for less tests be an upgrade? I am contemplating discontinuing the package. My last appointment started an hour late. I always pre-register, but still had to fill stuff out. Normally this is done when I walk in, but because the nurse who was taking measurements was doing double duty as the receptionist, I had to sit for more than 30 minutes before I was given the pad to fill out. Recently had 5 screenings done at the Lutheran Church in Bethlehem Georgia. The person at the front desk where you check in was not very personable nor helpful with answering questions. She had a bad attitude and made me feel like I was interrupting her time on her personal phone. All of the technicians performing the tests did a fine job. It is important to have the person who is the first point of customer contact to be pleasant! Did not have to wait - moved along from test to test area smoothly. I do not like getting on a marketing call list now and this was one of the questions I asked the front desk person - how to get off this list. She never gave me an answer. I also asked her for some kind of note to give to my employer for being off a few hours - this is when she got rude for no apparent reason. read more

This operation is nothing short of a cash grab that preys on the insecurities of vulnerable individuals, especially the elderly. The majority of attendees the day of our screening were 65 and over. Their equipment is outdated and in disrepair, and their main objective is to upsell you to more expensive tests. My wife has had many health issues and thought it couldn't hurt to have extra testing. However, the testing they perform can be done through other means for half the price. I do not recommend this for anyone in any state of health. Fortunately for us, we were able to pay for it using our HSA account, but if you are paying out of pocket, it is not worth the expense. read more

I had 4 procedures done and was in and out in 30 minutes which was wonderful. The staff was very kind and informative. The only thing was I paid a much higher price and then received a mailer 2 days later saying I can get the same procedures done 100.00 cheaper. read more

Although the screening itself was good, the arrival process needs tweaking. I stood near the entry desk for 20 minutes before being addressed by anyone. This was my first time at Life Line. I had an appointment scheduled for 12:05. When I entered the facility, there was a room full of people waiting. I was told to just take a seat, and wasn't even called to the check in desk for 25 minutes. Once there, the lady apologized for the long wait stating that she had computer issues. She then proceeded to try to sell my husband on getting screened as well. It was then clear that they had been adding people to the schedule that didn't have appointments, (sales technique), pushing the rest of us way back. Once I was finally seen, the procedures were fine, and we moved thru the 3 stations in a reasonable timely manner. It still seems more like a production line to get people in and out for the next in line. Having worked in the medical field myself, it lacks that professional appeal.
