When I inquired about the state of truck (mirror held with duct tape) and 86000 miles on the clock his response was that he also has another one with 300000. He did insist that I take the roadside assistance and lucky me, I did. Hardly 100 miles north of Austin on my way to Dallas the transmission gave up and I had to wait for 3hrs on the side of the road for a tow. Trying to call this place was fruitless. Calling budget proper required a 30-40mins wait every single time. Do go with a professional and get a truck that has been reasonably maintained and cleaned. This place is awful.

They arrived promptly and gave me a heads up call, even bringing coffee. Did I mention my virtual complete lack of packing? Not a problem. The crew started with the big things first and we went down the line from there. Like everyone else in Austin I do and have done video, graphic, and web production as a free lancer. The crew recognized the equipment and even offered options on how to transport 'my baby,' an old classic Microsoft Enterprise server. Oh. About the laundered and totally unpacked dry cleaning I my closet. No problem, they offer five free hanging wardrobe boxes for transport, even going so far as to rehang my clothes at my new place. A few comparable companies gave me quotes at 150.00 more to start. Of course my prized art collection hanging on walls throughout my apartment slipped my mind to. Yup, ten minutes later it was delicately removed and wrapped in blankets. Thanks guys.

They keep the property clean and it's been a while since someone has wrecked the entrance gate. I'm down to just a unit in the climate controlled area, but I'm not sure what climate controlled really means. It was crazy cold in there this winter. During the summer, it's tepid at best, certainly not too cool. Be aware if you need a strict temperature. The elevators can get a little janky too, but I've never been trapped in one.

Our purchaser and I have been in contact with one of their salesman (John) that has always taken care of our business. While we are in the middle of an order for a complete redo of our conference business chairs, I personally needed a new executive office chair. I was told by our purchaser that John is out of the office a lot, but he said to just go by their business and see if any of their chairs appealed to me. I couldn't see prices while I was there, but at least I could test their chairs and narrow down my search for one or two models. However, this proved to be totally false. I went in and asked the receptionist if I could look at a few executive chairs and she said, "No." An appointment is required. I told her who we had been in contact with John, but she did not care. I showed her their own sign on the door that states, "appointments recommended." I stated that even your own door states recommended - NOT REQUIRED. She said, sorry she couldn't help me. I called our purchaser who attempted to contact John again, but he did not answer his phone. Wasted time and a trip to their office. So, if you want to meet someone rude today, that doesn't care about your business, may I highly suggest you go to Rockford Business Interiors and they will definitely show you a reason why you would NEVER want to do conduct business with them. There are many other stores in Austin that sell business equipment - I would suggest using one of them. They will at least understand that customers are the reason they are in business. If you are rude to your customers, they will not only never buy from you again, but they will tell the world about how poorly they have been treated. The opposite is also true. Just not the case here. Draw your own conclusion and good luck.

I had the unit less than 2 weeks and it got broken into the NIGHT I moved everything in to it and then the next morning when I discovered the crime - I noticed that 4 other units were also broken into. I informed the lady who came at 9am and she just used her foot to push the belonging back into the other units and then closed the door. She then explained to me this happens often (wish I had known that) and that its easy to break in and she thought it was an inside job. 2 days later, after reinforcing the unit, it was broken into again. A day later - I get an email that says my unit was left unlocked and I need to come fix it - I asked and the lady goes, oh that was an accident. It made me wonder if the other property people were informed their unit was EVERY broken into. Flash forward - I've spoken to 3 different people (Shanna, Jeffrey, Misty) to get reimbursed for Sept ($133) and it was approved by District Manager Trey but now its the END of OCTObER and the money has not returned to me and my understanding is they fired the women who TRIED to help me and all their locations dont answer their phone now. Trye won't answer - I've left him multiple messages for accountability. This place is a scam and there are multiple break in. The same owner of this location owns the Westgate location too. DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE WITH YOUR BELONGING.
