It started at the floor level and has crept up about 6-8" on the furniture. I sent them pictures of it and asked them to call me. They did not call. When I called them about it they said I can submit a claim to my insurance. They say they keep the humidity at 55%, but this cannot be accurate, as the mold would not grow at that level. Lately the place smells musty when you walk in, so clearly there is a problem. It did not used to smell that way before. They offered no mitigation and said they have nothing to offer me. A real disappointment.

I've had the pleasure of working with current manager Kathleen Grant for a while and she goes above and beyond to ensure I get the right space I need. She even informed me that I qualified for a senior discount, which I appreciated. I'll say one more thing. I use another local storage facility for vehicle storage. The facility itself and the staff is not up the same standard as Extra Space.

It is clear they have done nothing to control the problem as no evidence of rodent exclusion and reduction was seen on the grounds. They also closed the one large loading dock to get more storage units in and now a moving truck can't even pull in to unload. This took way longer to move, plus the time it took to clean and disinfect my belongings and had to pitch some stuff as well. I guess they don't care if they inconvenience their customers as long as they can get the maximum rent - which by the way increases almost every month. The home owner told me if I wanted to take the mattress I could. They were throwing it away. The mover in the room with me said they could put it on the truck but they had no mattress bag. I was told they would put it on a blanket on the truck floor. When we were ready to go the driver said he needed to make a few stops. I agreed the delivery could be a hour or two later. An hour and half later I get a text due to the mattress and extra items the price would be an extra 100.00. There was a mattress no other items. If I was told at the pickup location the mattress would be 100.00 extra I would have left it. Be up front in pricing. You scammed me for extra 100.00 but you lost my move with a bigger price tag.
