Completely smashed TV. No TV box was used to move, but I was charged for them.

I should have known something was going to be wrong when I was charged for TV moving boxes ($180 total) and no TV boxes were used in our move. When we settled in our new home and mounting TV's, we discovered that one of our TV screens were completely shattered and unusable. I contacted them about filing a claim and was sent a claim form to fill out and mail. I did not hear anything back from them so I sent them an email. All I got back was that "we never received it" go figure.... I then sent some follow up emails and got no response at all. I called and was again told that they never received my claim. I asked if I could email the claim with all the information since they mysteriously didn't get my claim. I got a "sure". I resent the claim to their email asking for at least an acknowledgement that it was received. No response. I will keep pushing to get reimbursed for our broken TV, as well as a refund for the $180 dollars for TV boxes that were not used. Had TV boxes been used, this probably could have been avoided.

Smooth moving experience!…read more Initial contact: There's an easy to use online portal where you can input your inventory and details, sign your contract, etc. The team is also very communicative via text. All the communication is rapid, clear, and convenient. Price: on par with other professional moving companies in the area. Move experience: Seamless. The movers called to say they'd be a few minutes late because of truck issues, but they more than made up for that time by working quickly. They sent 5-6 people to help with our huge move (finally, a company that understands how to staff large moves!), were prepared to handle some very heavy and oddly shaped items, and were extremely proactive and patient with helping me figure out where to put some furniture in smaller spaces in my new house. Vibes: The movers treated our items with care, treated our home with respect, and were still incredibly fast with making the move. I mainly communicated with the manager of the crew, who knew his stuff, was professional, and was patient with my questions and concerns. Overall: great experience (as great as the misery of moving can be, and I've already hired them for a second time for another move!

If Mission 2 Organize is on a mission to change lives, then consider it 'Mission: Accomplished'…read more(for me at least, and for everyone I have already referred them to)! Which is why I am here: to yell my praises from digital mountain tops! I was (very generously) gifted an early Christmas present from my mom of a full day/organizing session with M2O... AND IT WAS THE BEST GIFT I EVER RECEIVED! It is truly the gift that keeps on giving. **Hint hint, people- Christmas is less than 3 weeks away, if you are struggling for ideas. ;-) Schae and Britney were spectacular! They rolled into my place like two boss ladies ready to get down to business (but not in a scary way lol)! They put on a fun playlist and took charge, which is what I like and needed. They let me help (obviously not required, but desired on my part to learn) and taught me helpful tips and tricks along the way to maintain the organization. Best of all, they knew how to prioritize my projects in the order that made most sense, and maximized efficiency and my time with them. Not a minute wasted and no stone (aka leftover crap I didn't need anymore) left unturned! AND, like, how helpful and convenient it is that they haul away as many donations for you as they can when they leave?! At the end of the day (literally), I had the best nights sleep that I'd had in years, knowing that there was (finally!) a place for everything and everything in its place. Not only did M2O grant me peace of mind, they motivated me to keep going and see what I can accomplish on my own with what I learned from them. And the productivity levels on all the DIY projects I've set aside over the years are through the roof! My home is, now, finally the way I want and need it to be- it is first and foremost, my sanctuary. Thanks to M2O! But don't worry, I would never claim to be a 'Master Organizer' like them though- there are still some projects that seem just too overwhelming to undertake myself...like where do I even start?! SO, I've already booked my next session with them. Can't wait for Round 2!

There was no way we could have unpacked and organized our kitchen and bathrooms over the next few weeks, which is what their team excelled to do in less than a day. Mackenzie was very responsive starting from original quote to appointment day. Because of this they came fully prepared and we feel every minute they used here was optimized to the fullest. It's our first time using this kind of service and Mackenzie, Chloe, Brittany, Mary and Melanie have officially spoiled us for all moves to come. Our home brings us so much joy now.

I called earlier in the day on Friday, compared quotes with a few companies, and clearly explained the job: moving one bunk bed, one dresser, and one treadmill a little under 20 miles from a townhome to a home. My appointment window was originally Saturday 8:30-9:30 AM. At 9:15, no one had arrived, and when I checked the booking link the window had changed to 9:30-10:30 without any communication. I called immediately, and at 9:21 one of the movers called to say they had gone to the wrong address and would be there in 15 minutes. They did arrive about 15 minutes later, and the job "start time" ended up being about 9:45 (which was reflected on the reservation tracker). Right away, the movers were concerned about the treadmill. I called the office to figure out how they planned to handle it and was told a manager would call me. No manager called, and instead a third person was sent out--which was fine--but I did not want to be charged for the ~35 minutes the crew was sitting and waiting for help. I called again and was told I'd be billed appropriately at delivery and that a manager would call "when they had a chance." At 10:35, 50 minutes into the start of the job, I received a call from one of the movers informing me that they were halfway complete and going to exceed the quoted time. He was unable to tell me how long that would take, and told me I would need to wait for a call from management to provide a new quote. Eventually a manager (Tim) called and said they couldn't take apart the treadmill because of wiring concerns, even though the crew had already started. When I asked what my options were, he suggested I pay another company to disassemble it and then pay College Hunks to come back, which made no sense. By this point, they had been on site for over an hour and I was told they had barely done anything--which wasn't true, because they had fully disassembled the bunk bed (see photos) Tim then canceled the entire job while items were still on the truck, and the crew unloaded everything into the garage, not where the items originally were. Screws were missing, furniture was left partially removed from the home. Tim refused to take my calls afterward, and the corporate line was not helpful beyond saying a manager would eventually get back to me. While I was refunded the fee, that doesn't fix the disruption and the mess left behind. The movers themselves were polite, but the overall professionalism, communication, and job assessment were extremely poor. I also felt rushed during booking--they told me I had only five minutes to use the link to pay the $50 deposit, which should have been a red flag. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this company. If you use them, expect major delays, unclear/changed time windows, and the possibility they may not complete the job even after disassembling your furniture.
