When I flew into Chicago I tried to call a day early to see if I could changed the time I picked it up, but no one ever answered the phone at the Orland Park office. When the call was transferred to customer service I was advised to keep on calling. Finally I went down to the office and asked if I could move the pick up time later on the pick up day. I was told they had no 12 foot trucks available and had no idea if one would appear for my next day move. (My reservation guaranteed nothing). There was only a 16 foot truck in the lot and I was advised to just take that now. It had a filthy cabin, had no power steering, and a cracked windshield. But my Chicago loaders ancould not "wait and see" so I took the truck available and cleaned the cab out as best I could for the 2 day journey. Stupid move on my part. I had a 16 foot truck for a small room of furniture- the vehicle was 80% empty! I wish I had more time to check nearby locations to try to get a truck more suited to my needs. In my experience there is no problem with Budget rent a car but their commercial division is horrible, at least in Orland Park, IL!

They had a 16' truck on the lot that I could not use as it would not fit where I needed to go. The desk agent confirmed he would cancel the reservation for me and nothing else was needed and I thought that was it. So imagine my surprise to log in to my credit card account today and find a $75 "no show fee" from Budget. Needless to say I've disputed the charge with Citibank. Do not do business with these clowns.

Then we were informed that we had to pay for 100 miles upfront and it would be refigured when we brought it back. Strange because we were only renting the truck for 4 hours. When we returned the truck the door was locked so we knocked. Someone opened a garage door next to the locked door. The gentle man was very rude and said to put the key in the box. We wanted a receipt so we could see what our final bill was. He said just put the key in the box. We have no idea what we are going to be charged. STEER CLEAR OF THIS CLOWN.

I tried to get another facility but it was the only one near me that had what I needed. I have used them before and it was a mistake also. Other facilities come out to help you hook and unhook trailers, but they won't lift a finger. You have to ask them for help. The owner refused to help put the trailer back where he specifically wanted. He stood there and told me he was going to charge me an additional $20 for not using the app. He ended up charging me a late return fee for when you deliver it after hours. I dropped it off at 1pm. They suck. He makes Grumpy Old men look like the happy dwarf on Snow White.

My husband fortunately was able to move it out of the ticket booth line. Needing towing or roadside assistance on a Sunday is a truly impossible feat. This wasn't my first rodeo with not having towing/roadside help available on Sunday. Thankfully, Q Roadside picked up right when I called, told me how many batteries, etc. he had available and got in touch with my husband immediately. Thankfully, our minivan was towed and is now being worked on. To add to the cars just want to break down party, my husband's car was sitting in our garage not starting up. We informed Q Roadside of this. In addition to helping us with our minivan, he jumped my husband's car, monitored it, and even offered to come back if it didn't start again after the jump. Truly exceptional service on a Sunday (when our suburban fleet of vehicles like to break down)! I will call on Q Roadside again in a heartbeat if we're ever stuck in this situation again. He was fast, knowledgeable, and super helpful.

I called this company to movers a 6 piece bedroom set, Spoke with Bill, I was quoted 380.00. 2 Men, and suppies. Everything was going well, 3 men arrived and did a great job. The home owner told me if I wanted to take the mattress I could. They were throwing it away. The mover in the room with me said they could put it on the truck but they had no mattress bag. I was told they would put it on a blanket on the truck floor. When we were ready to go the driver said he needed to make a few stops. I agreed the delivery could be a hour or two later. An hour and half later I get a text due to the mattress and extra items the price would be an extra 100.00. There was a mattress no other items. If I was told at the pickup location the mattress would be 100.00 extra I would have left it. Be up front in pricing. You scammed me for extra 100.00 but you lost my move with a bigger price tag. If you are looking for a moving company, keep looking. Not a honest company.
