I love this gym and everything it has to offer. But I work late evenings and I came to workout at about 2:45am and the outside front doors were locked. There's no doorbell alarm on the outside like there is in the inner doors. I sat for about half an hour and not a single person ever came to the front desk. I understand if you need to step sway for few minutes to do something but if they are they busy then they need more people there overnight. I pay way too much money to sit in the parking lot for half an hour waiting for someone to let me in. Especially when I could pay $10 a month at planet fitness and their doors are always open at 2:45 in the morning. I'll definitely be speaking to someone tomorrow about it but I'm definitely frustrated. read more

Dishonest company. Sale-person is pressuring you until you sign and then tricked u to sign a contract. Have you heard of a gym membership contract before? Dishonesty is not a way to do business. About the gym: big, fancy, unnecessary large walking hallway Kid area: looks like a jungle, dark, 2-3 caregivers with about 30-40kids mixed all together, infants to big kid, not feeling secure when dropping my 3y here. Classes: inconvenience time, few free classes 2 good things: Love their swim program for kids (here is the 1 star u deserve) Good looking man and woman that are making this a hangout place/home. Two Stars for a great all around facility and equipment, however if your looking for a place with a policy that is maid to benefit its members this is not the place. All the way up to corporate all they care about is your $500 sign up fee and $80+ monthly member ship fee. I originally became a member when a gym opened near my location in Mansfield Texas around ten years ago. Recently Learned that I would not be in town for the month of December. So I kindly asked for a hold on my account just for the single month so I would not spend 80$ on something I couldn't even use for the month. The staff at the actual gym was very helpful telling me they didn't have the authority to waive the 30 day notice for holding accounts, but told me I could call corporate. When I called, I was greeted very poorly and declined any assistance other than a reading of the policy once more. I tried to explain to the lady that I was not told that you need to give a 30 day notice when I signed up. Her only response was that it was in the terms and agreements I signed at the beginning. She then ended the call on me mid sentence. Absolutely horrible customer relations department that abruptly ended the call on me and told me to go back to the gym to cancel my account. read more

The facility is beautiful. However, the two men at the front were rude. When I walked up they asked if I was ready to get serious about exercise. I didn't appreciate that. Although I'm not thin I am actually already physically active. He then asked my son if he played basketball or football. My son said no. He went on to say well I guess he will have to go to college and get a real job. I was offended by this. I told him I wanted to tour the facility and he turned to the other guy and said you show her. The other guy said you show her, no you show her, no it's your turn. I felt unwanted and uncomfortable there. I do not plan to return. The aquatics department never answers the phone. They always have an excuse that the phone lines are missed up. Today I called four times and people were in the background talking. I never get a human when I call the center. It's so annoying, when you have to reschedule a swim lesson. Besides that the center is great. Expensive but we like it. read more

One of my favorite locations in the state! This includes the Citycentre one in Houston and both in SA. The location is kind of hard to get in and out and probably the only negative i can think of but an excellent one with excellent staff and people at this one!!! Very clean and well managed! Love this gym. They are really friendly and it's very clean. I have a personal trainer David Hampton who is really great, knowledgeable and very personable. I highly recommend getting a trainer especially when you are just getting back into it. Only thing missing is tennis like the other lifetime facilities. read more

The best gym ever! I was coming from 24 hour fitness for three years and I just got tired of the majority being so dirty and run down. Lifetime is clean in every aspect including the showers which was important for me. I haven't met a rude staff member yet. Everyone is super friendly and helpful. I was a little intimated before joining but I feel comfortable working out there. I also feel comfortable using the child care center for my toddler which is huge plus! read more

I tried finding a place to review the LIFESPA only; but will have to put it under LifeTime gym: The massages I receive from Erin at the Life Spa are ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. What an experience and treat to see her! She has great massage cadence and pressure. She is always sure to ask if you need work on any "troubled areas" and spends extra focus on those in particular. Erin is really, really good at her job and can tell that she takes pride in her work. I've never seen her in a bad mood; she is always very calming and very professional. The product she uses is absolutely PERFECT! Not the least bit oily or thick. I also love the aroma therapy oils and eye pads she incorporates. I have bought several "10 packs" of massages and have seen her for years. I am just SO very pleased to have found her! This gym is phenomenal. Something for everyone. The staff is amazing and the place is always clean. Great place to get in your workouts.

They don't care for people who use the gym for the turf soccer field or the basketball courts. They close both areas down at 10 pm. Not taking into consideration most people work or have school during the day and are only available to come and exercise at night. In fact, they're closing half the soccer field for CrossFit. As if they don't have plenty of room upstairs or around the complex to add a few equipment. If you're attracted to the soccer field this location contains, don't bother. Let me start off by stating I love this gym. This place is great. They have 2 hot tubs. But you will pay for it. And they will email you when you're already a member over and over again asking you to join... Everything is great with this place until you have an issue. Ok, I'm no longer a size 4. I'm not the hot little bohemian/ eclectic/ stylish princess I used to be. My body has not entered a gym , nor graced work out equipment in several years. Yes, it shows. But that's not why I came here. I came because Life Time Fitness offers a winter day camp for kids and working parents in need of child care with athletic and activity driven kids. It was awesome. They have early morning drop off hours for working parents. They have a heated in door pool, rock climbing, in door astroturf for football, racing, games, etc. They serve lunch, and they were so accommodating of my kids medical needs. I was very happy. It's a bit pricey in comparison to what I've paid for child care in the past but, I will save my funds for my kids to attend their summer camp. The only thing I didn't like was their community changing areas. Kids and adults in the same space. Made me a bit uncomfortable. But, my kids said the supervising camp counselors were on hand to monitor. All in all my kids were happy. They said the adults were very respectful and considerate. What was surprising to them were a few of the extremely bratty children in the camp. They said the kids just acted so entitled it was annoying. Aside from that. Good job. Oh, I did feel really intimidated walking in plus size, and feeling looked down on by skinny, or toned patrons and a few of the staff. But, eh I'll get over it. It's my own fault I'm fat now anyway. My fatass needs to be happy for my kids, and keep it moving. read more

Beautiful gym. Prices are higher than other close places but the amenities are well worth it. Pool is beautiful. Always cardio equipment available. Staff goes out of their way to be helpful and friendly. I take my toddler he has a blast in the kid play area (where the staff actually plays with him) and we have dinner in the cafe before we leave. read more

Went to the weight loss class it started 25 min late. There was a different instructor Brian. He lacks organization, communication, teaching skills. He took so long to direct the class I went below my level one heart rate zone. Epic failure and a waste of time. love this gym, but the crowding is starting to become a problem. Yes there is a massive cardio area, but I can do cardio at home with my peloton or the apt gym. I come to the gym to lift... I hope and pray with the addition of some new equipment here recently, means that they will be adding more. Adjustable leg presses (the back rest I mean) would be nice for people over 6'-0". I have had a terrible experience at Lifetime -Mansfield. It is only geared to make money. The yoga practice was very impersonal and people can be heard having loud conversations while meditation. They trick you into being helpful and supportive, but bill you for everything. I was specific when I told them I'd be there for a month, the took my money and then claimed that they don't do monthly memberships. Then the billed me for the the upcoming month because I didn't give them a thirty day notice! Crooks! I should have read the reviews before I walked into the place. This place is totally worth the cost. It is a pretty busy gym but the layout and dispersement of equipment makes it where it doesn't feel overly crowded. We stopped by this gym during their opening weekend. We were amazed at how nice it is. I am a big fan of group fitness classes so I asked if they had a few of my favorite instructors. Our sales guy confirmed they had my two favorites so we joined. Long story short, they ended up not having the instructors I had mentioned. I talked with the person in charge of group fitness and she advised me to give them time to work out all the "kinks" of a new club....instructors, classes, class schedules, etc. I gave them two months and talked with her again. When I mentioned I was thinking about joining 24 Hour Fitness, her reply to me was "If you think 24 Hour is where you need to be, then you should join 24." I was taken aback. Here I am voicing my concerns to her, paying $120 per month and she's telling me she doesn't value me as a club member by telling me to join another gym??? I sent an email about my situation to "la-la-land/whoever" through a form on their website, but never heard from anyone. I then scoured the internet for a great deal to 24 Hour Fitness and I found one. Through Costco, I purchased a 2-year All Club Membership for $299. I bought two (one for me, one for my husband) so the total was $600 for two years. I then added up what I would spend at Lifetime for two years which was $3500!!! Lifetime is nice, but not that nice! I have been very happy at 24 Hour Fitness. They have a ton more group fitness classes than Lifetime. I should add that Lifetime's "restaurant" did not have good food at all - we tried several different items. And there is a fee for the rockwall to have someone there to "belay" you or whatever that is called. All of their programs for kids (i.e. soccer, karate, cheer, etc) are expensive. I really love this gym, but admittedly haven't used a lot of the amenities. My salesman was honest and forthright, we even called the local 24-Hour so I could directly compare. There's no comparison. Lifetime is significantly pricier, but for those willing to pay more for a better environment and open machines it's totally worth it. I've been to yoga and several group classes, other patrons as well as instructors are quite helpful and encouraging. I can't say enough about the environment. I've also used the personal training services, which have been beneficial as well. Overall, I think the old adage "you get what you pay for" applies here. I'm there at least 4 times a week, so to me, it's worth it. Not a lot for tweens...my daughter is 11 and HATES the kids club (it's full of MUCH younger kids) and I'm not sure when she turns 12 if she'll really use much of the club. Parking is usually rough, but even when the lot is full I've never had a problem finding a machine. Have also used the spa, the salon, and cafe....love them all. A great place to spend a few hours on yourself. read more

I have been a member for 5 years. I LOVE my gym. Even though my monthly charges continue to rise. -_- The cafe food is great. But yesterday I went to the Spa the first time since I've been a member there. The staff is super friendly. I got a pedicure. I decided to try a pedicure there bc my daughter can stay in the day care while I get it done, instead of me having to find someone to watch her or take off work to get it done. [she is 7] SO, the lady that did my pedicure was super nice. But it was by far the WORST pedicure I've ever had. The massage on my legs was crap and half-assed. She didn't even use the tool that clips the dead stuff off your cuticules or whatever. I paid [including tip] $47. I could've paid that at the salon I usually go to and got my moneys worth. I was SO disappointed. I will NEVER go there for another pedicure. I almost got a facial there but I'm so glad I ended up scheduling it with another place. read more

Had a couple massages. They were average. Preferred to have spent that amount of money elsewhere. I really dislike that you can only use your LT bucks in increments of 20 and 50. Okay I like the gym I like the place there something that really concerns me there's kids that walk up and down those locker rooms there are naked people in there all the time because it's a locker room you should have a kids locker room but they don't obviously because kids are walking up and down there isn't that illegal wouldn't that be a lawsuit what if a kid accidentally sees Someone and the kid tries to say that he showed it to them you just screwed up someone's life and probably got them a lot of trouble and I didn't even do anything wrong because they or just in the locker room doing their business getting dressed and plus you're putting kids in there so technically you're not a pedophile setting up for that kind of environment weather It's the side where somebody gets accused and did not or whether it is the side That is guilty of it that gets of accused of it and if anybody ever have a case like that you are liable for maybe a lawsuit you might want to think about I even saw a man in there with their kids someone that works there was just laughing about it talking to the guy or you're completely oblivious to what could happen I'm trying to protect you from getting a lawsuit like yalls gym and I'm a satisfied customer but but I feel like I need to start getting Undressed at home unless you'll start doing something about it because I think it is very inappropriate to have kids walking in a full grown mans locker room besides that I love the gym that's the only reason you lost two stars for me I will change the rating if you do change that rule read more
