It would be really helpful if you weren't confronted as a yoga newbie with instructors trying to get you to do hand stands or the very challenging moves and weight lifts in the Pilates x Strength class. I think they need to give info to the members about difficulty ahead of time or section off some classes as beginner, etc. I belong to another Club Studio in a different city as well, so I'd have to say the staff at the front desk at this club can be a little unfriendly and inattentive compared to the other club. But I love most of the yoga teachers at this Club Studio, and I really think they made great choices in hiring Sandi, Kelly, Karen, and Jason. They all have great personalities and try to make the classes accessible for people with injuries or special problems . But if you're a senior with a lot of physical problems, this club is probably not for you. The emphasis is definitely on the youthful customer here, and I hope I can keep up with the classes for as long as I'm physically able before I have to go somewhere else less challenging.

grit!!!! you are a VIBE!!!…read more i got into a class from participating in the long beach strong beach annual 2 day fitness event. grit cycle was hosting a comp ride sunday. i signed up at the gritcycle booth with marina, she was so sweet. i told her i do spin and she locked me up with a bike in the front lol and with my normal bike number #signs . the instructor, Alijah ... uhm .. your energy is enchanting and addicting. that class was tough, idk how she has the energy and drive but kudos bc that class was fire and i came back the next wk for another lol. that 45m class went by so quick, the energy was so high that after class you just feel like you can accomplish anything! love the spin community they have built. everyone there were so friendly and welcoming. your first class is free! lockers, bathrooms and water refill station are all avail inside. plus they have a beautiful balcony of the marina!! parking: parking garage with 90m free. grit cycle is located on 2nd level by bungalow!

I regularly go to Kevin, Ibby, and Alex's classes - highly suggest all of them. I don't notice a ton of turnover in the coaches which is also great for consistency. Rumble has truly changed me in a way that's hard to put into words…read more Yes, the physical changes have been amazing. But it's been even more mental and spiritual than I expected. The discipline that's shown up in my life because of this place has transformed me. It's shown me that I can do hard things. Things I never thought I was capable of. I've tried so many different workouts. I love Pilates. But there's something about hitting the bag in a dark room, locked into my own zone, surrounded by other people pushing themselves, that feels different. The straight boxing days and the weightlifting days have both made a huge impact on me. When I first started, I felt disconnected from my body. I was carrying COVID weight and honestly didn't feel like myself. Now I'm the person at the 6am or 7am class, and people ask me if I box outside of here. That alone makes me so proud. The community is supportive. There's no ego. We push each other in the best way. I would tell anyone in my life that this is something worth trying.
