Yikes! I'll never come here again. I was denied service for a ridiculous reason. I decided to treat myself because I had a business meeting to attend and didn't wanna have to worry about my hair. I got there around 3:30 PM and immediately asked the Salon front desk if I could get my hair done after my workout. I was told sure we would have a hr. I said perfect! I Told them that I would already be washed And ready to go hair. I would just need a blown out. The front desk lady went to go ask the hairstylist in the back. The hairstylist peeped around the corner and immediately said no. I was like excuse me?! She then said I only have an hour and I will not be able to get your hair done in that time. I reminded her that my hair would already be cleaned and she said I know you're "kind of hair" and I will not get it blown out in an hour. As a Hispanic lady, I felt very much discriminated against and judged based on my hair. The front desk lady, kind of giggled making light of the situation when she saw I wasn't amused by that response, I was very much offended. I have had my hair done at the best of salons and I have never been turned away based off my hair, texture and length and I have never been told my hair wouldn't dry in an hour. Fun fact, I went to beauty school and I've worked on many hair textures myself. We are trained never to speak like that towards anyone of any ethnic background. Maybe she was trying to be funny, but there are ways you can say things and that was not it. As a New Yorker from the Bronx, I am quite used to rude behavior. I was just hoping it wouldn't happen here at one of my favorite gym. I think I would know my hair and what it can and cannot do. That is absolutely ridiculous. Max 45 minutes To dry out. If you're lazy and don't want to do it just say that. Lifetime family fitness used to be quite lavish gym now it's honestly a hit or miss depending on location.. absolutely unprofessional. read more

Clean and spacious. Staff is ok, generally just high school students or recent grad who don't seem to care too much for their jobs. I've been a member for several years now, without a break. I pay $80+ dollars per month. Today my wife asked me if she could join, I was super happy to hear this. I told her yes!! Yet she seemed a bit hesitant. I asked why? She told me she wanted to at least try it out first. I remember the GM Kevin Hill gave me 2 or 3 guest passes. So on we went! I arrived at the club at about 7:50pm and was greeted (more like acknowledged by the nod of her teenage head) by the clerk. My wife was refused admission to the club because there is a no guest "policy" past 8pm policy. I told her it was 7:50pm which she replied that all guests must be "out" by 8pm. I asked for a manager, she refused stating the policy was written. I asked again if there was anyone else I could speak to and SHE ACTUALLY PICKED UP A MAGAZINE AND BEGAN TO IGNORE ME. Had my lash extensions done today. Shari did an excellent job. She is such a kind, professional stylist. She took her time with my lashes and made me feel really good about my appearance. She even gave me makeup pointers for my upcoming wedding ceremony. I will most definitely be using her services again and orher services offered by LifeSpa. Can it get any better than this? I get great workouts and excellent spa treatment at the same place. This is awesome! read more

Best massage! The spa is in the health club. I don't think membership To club is required. The massage therapists and style are simply the best. They include aroma therapy , hot towels And other nice extras. All of the therapists are skilled and better than any where else. Love!!!! read more

I have been a member since the club opened in 2010. The club has gone through some changes over the past 4 years. First off, my experience started off great until the club decided to take applications and give memberships to those who have no respect for the facility and other members. Sometimes I feel as though I am a member of an inner city YMCA. Hours have been recently changed to get rid of some of the late night riff raff...towels thrown wherever, parents dropping off their immature kids like the facility is a day care, machines not being wiped off after use and every shower being turned on HOT and left by some irresponsible individual(s). I need not to get into more details of the responsible parties making my gym less appealing. Because of these incidents, I have considered terminating my membership. I am still unsure of what I am going to do. It is sad when all of us pay a premium for the club and a group of individuals ruin the experience for many. You cannot approach these members with your disgust because they ultimately don't care. I am part of many members that go to the facility at abnormal times in order to enjoy my membership. Something none of us should have to do to get a good gym experience. I feel that the members that are disrespectful to the facility and members should have their memberships revoked. Why in the world can they not keep this place clean?? The locker rooms are disgusting. I was with my wife and two kids in the pool this weekend And we could not even hear each other talk because the darn music was so loud. Myself and another family complaint and it went down for like for five minutes and then they crank it up again. Can somebody tell the kids that work here that the music is not for them, it's for the guests. read more

The staff is rude, no flexibility, they are not resolving problems and don't care about complaints. They have a horrible selection of classes including one spin instructor, Craig, who teaches spin but doesn't understand the concept himself. Their towels and facility can often be dirty and Michael Brown, their new manager, has done nothing since he started. I would opt to go to somewhere else. read more

I ended up here by accident and it was the best accident ever. I'm also sure it is the very best kept secret around. I've driven by it dozens of times thinking, "why would I go to a gym to have my nails done, or my hair colored? Well, here's why: the master colorist on staff is not only awesome with color, she knows how to cut curly hair! And that is an art in itself. The manicurist, bar none, is the best I've ever had. Ditto for the masseuse! The atmosphere is zen chic and very new. And if you have children who need a babysitter, this is the tiebreaker YOU get free childcare for 2 hours while you luxuriate in the salon / spa. And did I mention that you do not have to be a member of Life Time Fitness to use the salon / spa services, and you still get the free babysitting service!? Best part was this: two days before my daughter's wedding I quickly had to find another manicurist and hair salon. I could find absolutely nothing available until I recalled that my gym, Life Time Fitness, has its own spa and salon. Huge gamble to take for a wedding, right? I could not have been happier with the outcome. My daughter and I each got much-needed massages, manicures and pedicures here. I also got the most gorgeous up-do ever. The wedding was like a beautiful fairy tale. And I am about to make an appointment for end of summer highlights. Yelp! read more
