Went for dinner 9/11. Ordered an appetizer that was served with dinner order. Server said kitchen was swamped with less than 8 tables eating. Food was poor to average. Bill at end, was charged for for double the drinks consumed. Server corrected when we pointed out but insulting. Dont choose this place. This is for 132nd and Center location only. I have been there 4 or 5 times since it opened a month ago. The Thursday steak special is a great deal. You get a good 9oz steak and choice of potato for $10.99. I've had that 3 times. I like the tater tots better than the fries. I had the philly cheesesteak once. It was great! The meat is actually sliced off a grilled steak. Yesterday a had the meat lovers personal size pizza. It was good - good crust and lots of meat. They have several varieties of nachos that I look forward to trying. I can't say much about the service because I always go at their slowest time around 1:30 OR 2pm. I moved to a new location at the place I work and it so happens to be across the street from lighthouse so I decided to drop in and give it a shot. Cool chill atmosphere. I certainly would not call it a "dive" bar because in my opinion that's the description of a place that is good but not very well kept inside. Lighthouse doesn't fit that bill in my opinion, it's nicer inside with plenty of TVs and what not. The server I worked with was very nice. I don't recall her name but she was a little shorter with short blonde hair. She was very polite and the other server seemed nice too. For happy hour you can't beat $4 35oz mugs of beer at a local watering hole. I am very excited to try the wings as I have heard good things and I LOVE wings. I will make sure to edit this review when I stop in shortly for food. All in all I'm impressed and I will be back soon. Edit: Came back for the wings last night because I was craving them so bad. Result? Very good. I got the char buffed for an extra dollar and for a sauce I got the hot with an extra side of hot and a side of the insane cause I love heat. We were just at the location on 132nd, just north of Center Street in Omaha NE. The food was very good and so was the service. I just can't give 5 stars because the bathrooms were not good at all! Bothe the Men's and Women's bathrooms NEEDED TO BE CLEANED! There was an offensive smell, no towels to use and there were con webs on the corners! PLEASE clean it up' it's not a good reflection on your business! I hope you pay attention to this review. You are too good not to! read more

If you're looking for a neighborhood bar with good eats then this is your place. However, if you like great service to accompany your food then this is not the place for you. The service at this place is severely lacking. Two bartenders who double as servers on a Friday night is unheard of for most establishments. This place fills up quickly during their weekday happy hour (4-7 PM) and they could really use more staff. It's not unusual to sit unnoticed for 10-15 mins and there have been times where I just go to the bar to get a drink because I know I won't be getting one anytime soon at my table. It's pretty standard to be given your food and never see the server again, we sat with greasy burgers and no napkins one night. However the food certainly makes up for their lack of service. The food is excellent! My best friend raved about the buffalo chicken sandwich and even went as far as saying it was way better than the one she loves at a local sports bar. The chicken wings are delicious with lots of sauce choices. My husband absolutely loves the 50/50 burger (50% ground beef 50% ground bacon). I am a huge fan of their regular and pulled pork nachos, full plate of chips smothered in toppings and melted cheese. You can definitely split the nachos and have more than enough. The wings have been my favorite in Omaha for awhile. I always went to the Tiburon location because it was close to my home. I recently moved to Bennington so we went to the 156th location, the experience was terrible but because I am in the industry i understand there are good days and bad so I gave it a second chance. We went in to have a drink and order food to take home to our families. The girls working were the same two working for our first visit and while one was much nicer this time in the other was very very rude and short with us when we asked if she could check on our order after a hour and 15 min of waiting for our food. Her response was "You ordered 50 wings and a pizza, you aren't their only order". To which I just said I understand but your other bartender told us 30 min ago it was being boxed up. She was rude again when collecting the money for our very large tab and I still tipped 30% because again I understand bad days as I am a bar manager/bartender. I went in one more time just for a drink and to get dinner just for myself, I sat for 15 min without being acknowledged so I left and will never be back. It is very disappointing because I enjoy their food very much. read more

It pains me to leave a poor review because the food is 5 stars but the service is that bad. I've been here 10+ times and almost every time there is only 1 person serving the entire restaurant. I have to go to the bar and wait in line every time I want to order food, a drink, or refill my water. Like so many other West Onaha locations, the owner leaves the place understaffed 7 days a week in order to save a buck. If you want to sit at the bar and drink gigantic beers, this is your spot. I had a really bad experience at this location and will never eat there again. What was supposed to be a Happy Hour turned into a disappointment. While they have a Happy Hour and they talk it up to so many choices, they have one appetizer to choose and the beer and wine specials are all cheap and nasty. I order a pizza which was considered a large, not the case at all. I was charges $22.00, and then when I asked to talk to the manager was treated with disrespect and down graded. The manager did not want to hear my complaint and stated that it is what it is and then walked away. Never again, I spent way to much in there and I will take my money elsewhere. One of our favorite west "O" spots for Wings and gizzards as well as cheap drinks! I've had the wings several times but decided to try the charbuffed this time. Fantastic and NOT drowning in sauce! They also have your typical bar food on the menu..burgers, pizza, sandwiches, etc and a daily special. I know Sunday is 10 wings for $6, Monday burger/fries for $3.99. I have had good food (pulled pork nachos) and bad food (taco tuesday) at the lighthouse. Beer is always cold and service could be better. Moved into the area and decided to give this place a shot. The atmosphere is that of a typical neighborhood bar which is exactly what I like. I would say the only downside so far has been the service. They seem to be short staffed and are always busy so I can't fault them to much. Their food and drinks however is what will keep bringing me back. The first thing I have had there was their chef special which was a burger that consisted of 50% ground beef and 50% ground bacon....yes BACON!! It was one of the best burgers I have had in the Omaha area. They also have $3 long islands all day every day. As far as I know you can't get that anywhere else in town. This place is sticky. That's the best word I can think to describe it. It might be the stickiest bar I've ever been in. The beer selection is terrible, the service is abysmal, the only reason I gave it 3 stars is my heart loves karaoke. They have it every Saturday night (that I know of), and it's the only saving grace. I mean, it's a strip mall bar next to a daycare and it's brimming with douchebags most of the time. But karaoke! What's not to like about $5 wings and $3 35 oz beers! They also have a really great steak sandwich that's on special on Wednesday's. The place itself is a dive but the food and drinks make up for that. Great place to people watch, huge rectangular bar that is completely open on all sides, many tvs. On Saturday nights they have Karaoke which is always entertaining, and the service is great--awesome bartenders. Alright so we got some amazing bartenders the girls at this bar always have a smile and I don't know how they handle so many people all at once specially during Super Bowl we had a lady that was there all by herself but always made sure out cups were full and of course she made conversation with us most of the time I will not complain other then their bathrooms could be updated but other then that food is good and staff is great! Their margaritas are great and they have An amazing happy hour I say if you have not tried this place at least give it a taste their drinks are well done and you get enough liquor for your buck! read more

I absolutely love this bar. The best wings I've ever had are the char broiled wings here. If you're into spicy stuff get a side of the insane sauce. The long island iced teas here are only $3 all day every day and are delicious. The owner is very friendly and always makes sure to say hi when my fiance and I walk in. Great place. read more

The food is fantastic and the beers are cheap (that's the only reason it gets 3 stars)...but the service is HORRIBLE. We waited over 25 minutes before someone came to our table and waited on us. Two brown haired girls were working (we went in on another night with two blonde girls working and service was moderately better) and it was almost impossible to get any service and it wasn't even that busy. Went last night with the family and watch some NCAA hoops, it was packed, so I didn't expect that it'd be super quick service, but the place was under-staffed and incompetent. It took 55 min to get our beers, the food was out 2 min after we got our beers, so at least the kitchen seemed to have their stuff together. Our waitress was new and hasn't really learned the systems and had no help. The place isn't that big, but when it's that busy it's on the management to have more staff to make sure it's not an embarrassment, it ended up costing them business as people were walking in and quickly walking out when neighboring tables were telling them of the horrors of the night or when tables were not being cleaned off in a timely manner (20 min plus). Bartenders and waitresses need to stop having conversations about the regulars' dogs and lives when it's busy, leave that for Tuesday nights when there are 15 people in the place. read more
