    How much the crown?

Thanks for asking! Since there are different types of crowns, and various ways to pay, as well as different types of insurance plans, that would be best answered if you give us a call during office hours at 360-576-3570, and we will be happy to…

It's been a few years since our insurance billing issues, so I thought I should update my review…read more We haven't had any more issues with them billing our insurance since then. They have dropped some coverage with certain insurance companies, but luckily ours wasn't one of them. They have also had a lot of dental hygienist turnover the last couple of years, but they seem to have a full staff again currently. That's been tough for us because we had been spoiled with having the same hygienist for years and got to know them, which added extra comfort to an otherwise stressful experience. I've never enjoyed going to the dentist, but seeing a familiar face had helped ease my anxiety. We love the relaxing spa vibes in this office. It feels clean and comfortable, but not overly clinical like some dentist offices. They offer beverages in the waiting room, which also has a couch and fireplace, making for a cozy environment. We also appreciate that they can make a crown while you wait and watch a Netflix movie. It's nice not have to wait a week for a third party to make the crown and leave the dentist office with a temporary. The in-house crowns we're not something we've experienced before, so that's a huge plus! Overall this is an exceptional dentist office. They have a nice relaxing environment and have the capabilities of performing most dental services in-house. We would highly recommend.

Absolutely terrible experience. Their cleaning consists of a quick swipe of their rotating brush…read more They didn't even follow the shape of my teeth as they moved the brush across. They did not floss or try to do anything under my permanent lower retainer. All three of my kids have had cleanings there as well with the same experience. When two of my kids were being seen at the same time, the dentist would tell me about my daughter's teeth, it was really confusing because he was actually talking about a different patient. My fillings were a joke. It like he just drill a bunch of holes and slapped some filling stuff on top. Two of my teeth had filling gunk going over the top of them. I couldn't even floss. Other areas were just really rough with no effort to smooth them down. It was so unprofessional. I came in with a broken tooth and a bad cavity there. He poked at it so hard that it flared with pain. I asked him what he was doing and he just told me he had to. I felt like I was thrown into some weird maze thing, not knowing what's going on while people are pushing me from all sides to get me out of there. I'm supposed to go back after my root canal from someone else, but there is no way I'm going back. Or my kids. When getting X-rays, the thing they put in your mouth was jammed into mine. I was asked to hold it there. While I was holding it, he then decided to do all the prep work for the X-rays. Like, now that it's very uncomfortably in my mouth he typed some notes, got the let protective cover, turned the machine on, THEN he finally took the picture. And instead of removing the plainly object in my mouth first he did everything else first and forgot it was in my mouth. This was a repeat accurate with each picture! I have never feared the dentist before. After seeing these guys I went somewhere else for my root canal, when they laid me back I started crying because I was afraid my last experience was going to happen again. It didn't, but it sure made me realize how horrible the APY service was. The wife at the front desk is there only thing that made me feel comfortable. DO NOT GO! PAY THE EXTRA MINEY TO GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.

The staff was kind but the work was so sloppy and unprofessional. They did a cleaning that…read moreconsisted only of a quick swipe with the polishing tool, no scraping or gum-line work, not even a flossing or fluoride. He decided to fill a couple of chips quickly, but just slapped on some filling material and called it good. He did not check my bite or anything. It felt odd and lumpy and hit another tooth when I bit down. When I got home I discovered he had melded two teeth together with no way to floss between them. I poked at it and all the new filling material just fell off. Soon the other chipped tooth's filling fell off as well. So I paid $99 for basically getting the equivalent of a toothbrush cleaning. The waiting room carpet had big stains all over it and smelled so strongly of air freshener that I got a headache. The clinic walls and floors looked dirty and old.

Called back for my cleaning timely, Megan was the hygienist - so very polite and accommodating. She conducted the cleaning professionally and gently, offered to clean my retainers, answered random questions I had re: bridges and implants, even commented how nice my husband is, who had been in the week before. Afterwards, Dr. Wu performed an exam - expertly and efficiently. He asked after the family, gave insight on insurance, and offered information about restorations. Professional and friendly service, all around. The only request I would make is to consider occasional Friday and Saturday appointment slots - so much easier when one works full time and has family.

I cannot recommend this dentist office in good conscience and from my experience…read more I came here in the beginning of the year. Got a temporary crown for five weeks. That itself should've been a red flag. I assumed the dentist Emily Young had my best interest. I should've know at her lack of communication with me that she didn't. I told her I was aware of my gum disease and I know it's gotten worse. I expressed my concerns and let her know I wanted to get pregnant but was hesitant as I know my gum health affects the whole body. I was asked if I cared what my teeth looked like and I said no. I was then told that if I didn't care about cosmetic look that it should be "fine." As long as I kept up with my cleanings. I have deep pockets but they could clean them there. Unfortunately I was scheduled months out. Not a priority even though it progresses daily... I had gum detachment within two months of being seen here. While I was waiting for my scheduled cleaning. I was then told by another dentist how deep my pockets really are, referred to a specialist and told by specialist I could not get pregnant unless I wanted to put my life and child's at risk. To say I am hurt is an understatement. I've lost time, money and gained more dental trauma. In my opinion I say do not come here.

My husband found Dr Harrells office because it was on the lower level of our chiropractors building. He went in to talk to them and was convinced that the receptionist was the nicest person he had ever talked to. I called their office a day or so later to see if they took our dental insurance plan and after scheduling new patient exams and cleanings, I immediately called my husband to let him know that he was right. Amazing customer service! Dr Harrell was fantastic, their technology is all up to date. Great chair side manners and I felt he was completely skilled. My husband went to his appointment and even though he normally has to take relaxers prior to cleanings and dental work, he now willingly goes with no meds! The dental hygienists are gentle and just the right amount of chatty. They remind my kids of good dental habits, and never chastise or make them feel bad for not flossing as often as they should! I have and will continue to recommend Dr Harrell to friends and family.
