The ambiance was great, the crowd was rowdy in the best way possible. All their beers on tap were local, from Haines Brewing. Why every town in Alaska isn't like this (local beer on tap at the local restaraunts), I have no idea. This should be the norm! Instead you'll often see something like Alaskan Amber, Bud Light, and Stella Artois. The pizza took a while to come out, 30-45min, but they were SWAMPED because of beerfest. When it finally did, it was very good. This is NY-ish style pizza. The emphasis is on really thin crust. This was a pretty good take on it! My only real complaint is that this dough/crust performs very, very poorly when eaten the next day. This is definitely EAT NOW pizza, not SAVE SOME FOR LATER pizza.

Seemed like a spot a lot of the locals hang at, felt very homey, Cheers type everyone knows your name place with delicious food! I did a Rojito, seafood pasta and a side of crostini. The drink was so refreshing! I remember her mom was involved with its creation and of course it's her fresh grown mint! The pasta had huge chunks of very tasty seafood! Outside of being here (AK) I probably wouldn't order something like that but I'm glad I did. The pasta was delicious and the seafood was fresh. The crostini's were so good too.
