Solid place to grab some lunch while docked in Skagway. The place has a mix of indoor and outdoor seating. During the summer months when able to sit outside, you are blessed with some amazing views. All of the food is good and the staff are friendly. My halibut fish basket came with 2 pieces of fish. While the fish was pretty thick, it was not overwhelming and the batter wasn't too thick. They give you a ton of fries. If you order an entree that comes with fries, no need to order the appetizer version So, if you've been cruising all week and need a break from shop food - this place is a solid pick.

If you're pulling into port on a cruise and looking for the real deal Alaskan cuisine, don't pass this place up! The Alaskan King Crab was fresh and flavorful, and my wife loved her fish sandwich. Fast, friendly service from the front staff, and a huge shoutout to the back-of-house team for preparing such incredible food. Worth every penny!

First time and we had a great experience! The service was prompt and friendly. Our waiter wasn't pushy and gave us time to decide. The appetizers were delicious! Great flavors and very different from other options in town! Ambiance was very coastal and welcoming, inside seating was a bit tight but the outdoor seating was very refreshing with great views!

The fries were amazing, sorry chips . The fish and chips basket was delicious and well worth the visit.

Stopped to have a quick bite after the White Pass Railroad trip. There was wait, place is small and cozy. Energetic and vibrant, many tourists coming in from excursions and town touring. Food was amazing. Ordered the Salty's Alaskan soup, halibut fish and chips, and a Spruce Tip Blonde beer. It's worth the wait , staff is efficient and friendly, food is delicious. Definitely try the local Spruce Tip beer, really enjoyed it.

Salty Siren Eats and Tap House was an absolute win! I had the Alaskan king crab legs and WOW--so fresh, so flavorful, and cooked perfectly. Easily one of the highlights of our trip. My daughter, who has a shellfish allergy, ordered the burger and really enjoyed it, and my wife had the steak sandwich, which she said was delicious as well. Great food all around and something for everyone. Highly recommend stopping here while in Skagway!

Amazing service, ambiance and food was delicious! Nothing like the backdrop of a snow covered mountain in Skagway while dining on fresh fish and chips, seafood chowder and local draft beer. They were very friendly and we were sat in an enclosed outdoor patio with amazing views. The fish and chips perfectly seasoned and delicious, shrimp toast and seafood chowder was so good! Highly recommended to check out if you have extra time in skagway, AK.

This is an absolute must stop!! We came from our cruise, wanted a bite after the train, and omg, BEST STOP EVER!! We ordered the halibut fish and chips and bleu bread to share. We ordered an additional order of both because it blew our socks off!! And my friends are very critical. Clark was the best server, made the experience even better!! The outside patio was great when the weather is good. So good, don't miss it!!

Like most, we came in on a cruise ship and wanted some king crab. This had the best reviews so we gave it a shot. There's a reason it has the best reviews. This might quite possibly be the best MEAL I've ever had in my life. The king crab was incredible. The halibut fish n chips were to die for. The fries were the best I've ever had. They make their tartar sauce which should be bottled up and sold because hoooooly sh-t. Seriously all the food here looked good. All the guests were complimentary. But I am SO glad this was the stop we finally got our king crab from. Huge leg and the best pricing we'd seen on the trip. Now that I'm done ranting about the food, the service was awesome. Clark was the best and attentive and nice and provided solid recommendations. My beer never hit empty before another was on its way. I seriously wish I lived in Skagway so I could go here every day.

There was a bit of a wait, but we grabbed a beer and relaxed while waiting for tables to clear. Our waiter was super friendly and attentive, and I really appreciated the decor throughout the restaurant. As a gal originally from Cape Cod, I especially loved the nautical theme! Of course, I ordered the fish and chips, and it came out hot, fresh, and delicious. The batter was a little crispier than I'm used to, but I still thoroughly enjoyed the flaky, white fish. The guys in our group enjoyed their meals as well. The ladies' room was clean, which is always appreciated. Overall, I highly recommend this spot if you don't mind a bit of a wait. For us, it was absolutely worth it. I also want to mention that we were visiting on a cruise ship, and this restaurant was a very convenient walk to and from the port. If you're in town for the day, it's an easy and worthwhile stop!

We were promptly seated. Several customers were there so place appeared busy. We were on a time crunch so ordered the crab cakes and king crab legs. Both items came out in reasonable time. The $21 crab cakes were not great and had significant breading (2/5 stars). The $119 two piece king crab served with clarified butter was excellent and tasty (5/5 stars). They give you the appropriate utensils and pickers to cut the claws open. Overall good experience but wish I could've tried more items in the menu. Would return when I'm in the area!

It was a little after 1 and there were several cruise ships docked, so the lobby was quite full. When I walked up to the podium, the host explained our options: go to the pub for drinks and a limited menu, or wait 15-30 minutes for a table upstairs with the full menu. We weren't in a hurry and wanted all the options, so we decided to wait for a table. It was about 20 minutes before the host called us. After being seated and checking out the menu, I chose a mug of the house-brewed root beer along with a Alaskan Sandwich, subbing the fries for a side salad. My wife also ordered the root beer, but with a Salmon Sandwich with a cup of soup instead. We also shared a whole Big Pickle! First, the root beer was very refreshing. Not super sweet, but still flavorful. And my sandwich was very delicious! The piece of Alaskan Greenling was so big, it was hanging over the bun. With the side salad, it was just the right amount of food, but I didn't feel too stuffed. My wife enjoyed her sandwich and loved the cup of beer cheese soup. And the big pickle offered a good crunch and contrast to our sandwiches. Overall, we had a wonderful experience. We did pass on dessert, but would try it if we came back to Alaska. The only weird thing is that there was no wifi available, and the cell signal was non-existent. We had to *gasp* talk to each other!

We weren't there for a typical meal, we did a culinary and Alaskan gardening class. These two things happen to be my all time favorite pass times. I learned so much from nearly every staff member I came into contact with. Their pastry chef taught us so much about bread making and the science behind it and was incredibly knowledgeable. The in house gardener (yes they have one of those!) grows ingredients on site to help supplement food costs and she taught us so much about how climate impacts the plants she grows. (Their rhubarb was gigantic) everything we ate was off the charts amazing! If I had to give a negative comment it would be that the manager seemed inconvenienced by the guests and made sure to tell us that we were keeping him from his busy day, but to be fair he said he isn't usually the one who gives guest presentations so I have to give him props for doing it even when he clearly had other things to do.
