Monster burgers if you find yourself lost in South East Alaska! I only had one Hamburger, but it was huge, and it tasted great! Interesting decor, very friendly staff, and an iconic restaurant for the area.

We were in Haines for a few days, I wanted to try 33 Mile, as didn't have the chance last time in town. We went for dinner, they were open and place packed. We took last open table. Service was prompt & friendly all the way through. Daughter enjoyed her grilled ckn sandwich, said the ranch dressing on side salad was a little mayonnaise-y, but she ate it all. I enjoyed pulled pork sandwich with very tasty baked beans, good tots, & okay cornbread. The decor is great, with vintage snowshoes and whale bones up on the walls. The drive out to here from Haines is amazing, and part of the enjoyment. Forest covered mountains and steep alpine peaks...so beautiful. Definitely recommend eating here. Check their FB page for announcements on specials and holiday time closings.

Tried the South of the Border burger, sub cheddar for the pepper jack, with fries. Burger was awesome. No complaints. I can only think of two burgers that I'd even compare with this one. But they are nowhere in the vicinity of 33 Mile. These fries... they get their own paragraph. These folks have the time and temp dialed in. And they just may be using unicorn oil to fry them them up. The perfect mix of crunch and soft. Not an overpowering potato taste. I say with confidence that these are the best fries I've ever had. Tried a few of the pies. The peanut butter pie is excellent. Not too sweet, amazing taste. The blueberry, strawberry-blueberry, and strawberry-rhubarb are alright, but I can't boast about them. The crusts were not over cooked. These pies were just kinda ehhh to me. Overall, love this place. If you're driving along this highway for the first time, I recommend stopping. You'll not regret it.

While working on a project in Haines, we were sort of limited in finding good restaurants to eat a decent dinner. We made the journey North out of Haines via the Haines Highway to the 33 Mile Roadhouse. The restaurant/bar/roadhouse is somewhat isolated, but once inside it provided a comfortable feel, decorated with rustic and historic Alaskana memorabilia. But onto the food... You will not leave hungry from this roadhouse. I had the signature 33 Mile Burger with some of the best French fries I've ever eaten. If you are an epic eater, the burger can be "super sized" with an extra patty. For dessert, I ordered a to-go slice of the black and blue pie (blackberry/blueberry combo). It too was excellent. If you ever find yourself traveling the Haines Highway, and find yourself with an appetite, you definitely need to stop in at the 33 Mile Roadhouse.

Delicious burgers, good service, fun roadside stop. If you're staying in Haines and have a car, make the trek. We heard the road there is usually good for moose sightings, but this year's major construction may be interfering.

I was trying to get some souvenirs and she told me a couple spots to check out and held my table while I went across the street! I wanted something fresh and local and they're a great place for that. It's her parents restaurant and her mom grows herbs that they use in dishes. Olivia travels a lot so it was serendipitous that I actually got to meet her! Seemed like a spot a lot of the locals hang at, felt very homey, Cheers type everyone knows your name place with delicious food! I did a Rojito, seafood pasta and a side of crostini. The drink was so refreshing! I remember her mom was involved with its creation and of course it's her fresh grown mint! The pasta had huge chunks of very tasty seafood! Outside of being here (AK) I probably wouldn't order something like that but I'm glad I did. The pasta was delicious and the seafood was fresh. The crostini's were so good too. I hear they have great desserts but we shared a fry bread earlier and there was just no room for more. I got a shirt bc I couldn't not. I truly loved it here. Such a chill, kind vibe. If ever in Skagway I'll be back. Thank you to Olivia and team for more than making me feel welcomed.

The sauce was so good; this was served with mini toasted bread ovals with a rich full sauce. The whipped cream cheese on top was an extra bite of goodness. The service was fast and attentive. The crab legs were large and taste great with the lemon; melted butter was served ; however, I preferred the lemon. A great lunch place in Segway.

There was a bit of a wait, but we grabbed a beer and relaxed while waiting for tables to clear. Our waiter was super friendly and attentive, and I really appreciated the decor throughout the restaurant. As a gal originally from Cape Cod, I especially loved the nautical theme! Of course, I ordered the fish and chips, and it came out hot, fresh, and delicious. The batter was a little crispier than I'm used to, but I still thoroughly enjoyed the flaky, white fish. The guys in our group enjoyed their meals as well. The ladies' room was clean, which is always appreciated. Overall, I highly recommend this spot if you don't mind a bit of a wait. For us, it was absolutely worth it. I also want to mention that we were visiting on a cruise ship, and this restaurant was a very convenient walk to and from the port. If you're in town for the day, it's an easy and worthwhile stop!

As busy as it was, getting a seat was easy. Our server also did a good job with our food and drinks. We got lucky and sat outside during a blue bird day. We faced the mountains and it was spectacular.
