I was a long time customer who is also a military veteran and person of color. They price gouged me after I asked for a smaller unit or a discount. I didn't get a discount and instead in the next few days they sent me a notice of a price increase. Avoid this place and take your business to any of the 10 self storage in the area. They are not only more fair in price but they actually fo care about their customers and treat them with respect and with ethics. read more

The storage is clean, The Cart use for transfer things, for customers are lock up. Storage open until 9 pm, office closed at 6 pm. Only 1 cart for use. Every customers are taking physical Abuse, emotional stress. Basement & first floor have cool air for summertime. You will have to pay more money to earn that. Second floor is stuffy, smelling, human, hot as same temperature outside like 90* to 100* degrees. What would you thinking if there's someone's pass out because dehydrated or no oxygen to breath or suffering from Heat One human life is costing millions of dollars and can file a lawsuit to win for freedom of life. read more

He showed me all three units they had, and at the end I mentioned I was going to check out public storage, a competitor down the street. Boy was he right; I went, checked it out, and came running back the next day asking if Art still had space left for me Nate helped me with my paperwork, payment; etc etc, and like Art; wasn't pushy and ultra polite. My move in date was a week away, so he recommended we put a hold on the spot I wanted, and when I was ready, to call him up A week later, I called up the shop and they were able to not only rent me to unit; BUT offer a moving truck to help me move, free of charge! David drove the truck to my place, got the ramp down for us and when we were done, drove the truck back for us to offload. However, when the movers arrived, they immediately demanded cash up front and refused to provide any services unless payment was made on the spot. This directly contradicted the prior agreement. After loading the couches, they demanded an additional $100 that had never been disclosed or authorized. The situation felt coercive and inappropriate. In addition to the payment dispute, the movers caused multiple damages: * One of the couches was damaged. * The garage door was damaged. * A component of the security system on the back door was broken. Furthermore, one of the workers raised his voice and yelled at my wife and daughter. This behavior is completely unacceptable and unprofessional. When I contacted the company to request information regarding their insurance coverage for the damages, they refused to provide any details. This company demonstrated a serious lack of professionalism, accountability, and respect. I strongly advise others to proceed with caution.

We had to make two trips, but it was still within budget. Next move, I'll call them again, and pay for packing (which we thought we could do on our own in our 50s!) Jeremiah's communication heading into the move was excellent and Mike and his team arrived right in the window they said they would. Heading into this move, I was worried about taking apart our bed frames and putting them back together. Mission Movers took care of it at no extra cost. But the biggest thing for me is how friendly and HONEST the team was. One of my dining chairs was already cracked before the move and they approached me and apologized for thinking they did it. This is the WORST self storage place in ALL of Orange County!!! #1 VERY POORLY MANAGED...we have been with this storage center since it opened OVER 5 YEARS AGO, and for years it was ran well with SMART employees running day to day operations....Then came the HORRIBLE management team of George and Jennifer....the rent went WAY up, the service was terrible and I honestly think they could care less... #2 ILLEGAL RENT HIKES!!! Watch out, they will increase the rent 2 or 3 times in a year WITHOUT NOTIFICATION!!! When challenged about the required notification they answered with "corporate office hasn't sent the notices out yet!!??! WHAT??? First off, you can't increase the rent without proper notification!! When a letter was finally sent out about the rent increase (2 months later) it was from Beach Blvd Storage with George's signature on it (not some "corporate office memo")....what a joke! #3 POOR OUALITY CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS The cinderblock that was used for the walls was of such POOR QUALITY that water and salts leached thru them and DESTROYED a very expensive Heywood Wakefield bed, various boxes of vintage clothing and two boxes of collectable books. When we asked about compensation because THEIR WALLS LEAKED we were told "Sorry, you signed a paper waiving B.B.S. of liability" REALLY?!?!? What's the point of a storage center that can't (or won't) protect your valuables!!! Do yourself a favor....DO NOT make the mistake of renting a unit here, you will be treated poorly, your stuff destroyed and the aggravation of trying to deal with the incompetent staff will make your head hurt!!! We're getting out this weekend!!! read more

As my 4+ years here is coming to an end, it's bitter sweet to say goodbye.I've recommended friends and family over the years. I've NEVER had a problem. It's clean and professional. I've made friends with the all of the branches that would co sub here and developed a special relationship with the then co manager/ now manager Betty. I could of moved months ago, but the customer service is what kept me staying a little longer. I can still visit since my relative still has a unit :) This storage is fair and doesn't screw you over. It's better pricing than the competitors and great security. I would come back here if I ever need a unit again. read more

i'm extremely grateful to anna! she was seriously helpful & trusting! she was also seriously easy to deal with when i had a very bizarre situation happen & still took my info. on phone & held a unit for me! i didn't have a clue what size i needed & she didn't put me in some big unit that cost more... size was perfect! they also had an awesome deal i didn't know about but anna told me & i was able to save alot of money! units vary, mine was basic and clean area always! they also do a walk through and lock check in case you forgot to lock yours that way you don't get robbed! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE to ANYONE!! read more

Best storage unit company in Westminster!!! The manager is a joy to work with, from moving our belongings into the unit, through removing them. Lighthouse stands out and above the 5-6 other storage facilities that I had toured before I moved here a month ago. first of all the staff is very pleasant and nice to talk to you and always an upbeat mood and the place is cleaner than I've ever seen a storage facility it is really really well done well organized and maintained. I have given word of mouth advertising to two people that needed storage so far I've haven't seen him here yet but I will refer to anyone this is the place you want to be and the pricing is good too! read more

When I left the first time it was because I didnt need the storage but now that I require it again, I came back here because of my previous experience. Had storage at Lighthouse Westminster for a number of year then moved residence and storage to Huntington Beach. I decided to return to Lighthouse and was delighted to see Danny Reynolds was still at the desk! He runs a tight ship and is always ready to help.... I have never been to a storage as good as this, the prices are better than any of its competitors and i would rate it a 100 out of 5 if I could.
