I called around to find a reasonable oil change as my regular guy (Jack's Automotive on McDowell) is closed on Saturdays. LL quoted me on the phone $35.00 for an oil change for my Lexus; however, when I arrived I was told it would be $57.00 for the synthetic blend. Once I showed my $10.00 off for yelp checkin, of course, I was told of an up change for an extra quart of oil and that my car required. I walked out paying almost double what I was quoted over the phone. Disappointing to say the least. On the upside, the staff was quick and professional. The lady/owner was super sweet. Not sure I will go back as I usually have the full synthetic oil change done for half the price at Jack's. read more

They have different offers of service levels for oil change and they don't push you on getting upgrades. They recommend services that are meant for your car instead of pushing you to get an extra $50 of things so I appreciate that. read more

I've beening coming here for years. I now have cancer and they don't let you drive your car onto the lift or require other customers to wear masks. So double the risk of infection. This has easily been one of the best experiences I've had with a mechanic. I came in there needing an oil change (badly) and having a check-engine light on in my high mileage car. I already had the code for my check engine light and the owner knew exactly what was likely causing it, told me what part to buy, and quoted me 1/2 hour of work to put it in- definitely not trying to rip me off. While they were changing the oil, they flashed and retested my engine- The light turned off and hasn't come back on and there are no error codes. Awesome! He recommended the high-mileage oil, an oil flush, and oil conditioner... I knew I needed that stuff because of the age, miles, and small oil leaks my car has. I also had the air filter replaced. I was literally driving on my way to Danny's car wash for an oil change when I quickly Yelped Lightning Lube and saw her sole review standing proud with four stars. I will admit that when my phone notified my friends I checked in here, I got a few....questioning...text messages due to the name, but I would gladly head back here any time for an oil change. I love no-nonsense care places, and the young lady who helped me at the front didn't try and sell me anything extra. She just let me know that my windshield wipers were all but useless (a fact I've noticed every time we receive a rare rain shower.) I was so shocked that I wasn't pressured into a $100 transmission flush that I nearly fell over. The service was really fast and the total came to a very reasonable $30 total - not bad for supporting the little guys against the shady Midas' and Jiffy Lubes'. read more

We were visiting from Las Vegas and needed to get a quick oil change before our trip back. All of the oil shops were busy and we found this one that could get us in and out in about 30 minutes. We were assisted by one of their techs, Dennis, who was awesome! He was working SOLO; there was no one working with him (we were there this past Sunday, June 3rd), and he handled all of the cars like a champ! He went so far as to apologize for the extended wait; and simply stated that he was the only one working today. We were so impressed that even under the number of cars he was working on, he was pleasant, friendly and very professional. Needless to say, he had our car out before that 30 minutes! At the end as we were paying for the services, the manager arrived and I let her know what a fantastic job he did! The price was reasonable and we were very happy with the service provided. Side note: Just need to get more comfy couches/chairs! (LOL)... and maybe getting him some help during busy days (Sunday's I would think and/or weekends when those service stations may tend to be busier than during the work week).
