I have a older (2004, low mileage) Chevy pickup that would get a check engine light every 12 months (don't put many miles on), Ron had to test it and he found the problem. To fix it there was a easy way (if possible) and one that required more labor (and cost more).......... well guess what, he was able to fix it the easier way (not really easy but less labor time). Upon moving to AZ from Ohio I went to Car Repair Co in Scottsdale which is 1. Overpriced and 2. Dishonest. They told me my headgasket was BLOWN AND QUOTED ME 2K. RON FASSL IS AMAZING. My car did not have a blown head gasket and Ron recorded himself doing the test on my car (correctly) and I didn't even ask him to!!! He knew that this would comfort me since I had almost been taken advantage of by my old mechanic. Ron was able to find the actual issue that the other repair guys couldn't. He put time into my inspection to find out what was exactly wrong and didn't jump to just the most expensive part that runs the car. A coolant leak!!!!!! Which was much better on my pockets and made much more sense. His prices are reasonable, he doesn't tax you for parts, AND he gives a discount for cash!!!! Perfect example of a local speedshop. Anything you need done performance wise you gotta come here. Brought in some long tube headers to be installed and it went very smoothly and fast. I got a call mid install saying that there was an issue and the headers weren't 100% fitting right. Instead of giving up, he gave me 2 solutions to choose from all while still getting them installed. He fabricated a reducer in order for it to work and it came out perfectly. I will be coming back to this shop many times here in the future to get my next performance upgrades installed. Called Ron when I noticed oil dripping from my BMW on the garage floor. Ron was so nice and asked if I wanted to come that day, but I opted to come the next day since it was a slow drip and no low oil lights were on yet. Abraham diagnosed the issue quickly as the O ring needing replaced .. I had my tennis shoes in the car so took a walk around The lake and returned in an hour to find the oil changed, new filter, and a new O ring for $79. Abraham even cleaned the engine and checked out my other fluids, brakes for -0- charge. Where can you get same day, honest service? Amazing! Found an honest mechanic. I was out of town, sons car overheats, have it towed to Ron Fassi because close to ASU. I think he will take me to the cleaners since I am not there to see and my son has no clue. Charged me for one hose connector, coolant and labor.
