This establishment is far more than and oil change place,they do all kinds of repairs.Their prices are fair and they work fast.You usually don't need an appointment nor do you have wait around for two or three days to get your car back.This is a family business.Their estimate was $175 less than another shop.This seems like a legit auto shop that doesn't push unnecessary repairs.The only time they let me down was I wanted to change my transmission fluid and they were out of transmission fluid.They have limited parking,easy to find right on Scottsdale road with a colorful sign. read more

This place is the best in town, I've been coming here for al my fluid changes for years. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly, they never try to push anything you don't actually need or make up fake repairs like a lot of shops do. I had my differential fluid changed not too long ago and noticed it was dripping a little bit afterwards. I thought my deal was old but they took a look and it was just a simple drain plug swap. Charged me 40 dollars for a cabin air filter and I don't remember how much to install it. Later saw them on multiple parts pages for 8 to 15 dollars. Smh. YouTubed it and its as easy as opening the glove box and sliding it in. I'm an idiot. If you juuuuuuust need an oil change. Ok. Don't spend more than 50 bucks here. They were supposed to but didn't top off fluids. Didn't check air in tires. Paid 160 and they were so nice I even tipped 20 bucks for how kind they were. I sent a quote request through Yelp to Lighting Lube and 4 other companies to see what it would cost to have my skid plate reattached before returning home to San Diego. LL was quick to respond and the only company that gave me a direct answer. We pulled up and the lady immediately knew why we were there and got started on my car. About 10 minutes later we were back on the road, minus the annoying sound of the skid plate bouncing around. Lightning Lube made me wish it was reasonable to drive 4.5 hours every time I need an oil change or other auto service. Highly recommend!!! read more

Lady at front desk was a big help and very nice, Recommended how to fix an issue with my truck and directed me to a shop to get help. Overall the service was pretty quick for a couple different fluid changes. We got lunch down the street and came back and it was ready. Asked for a quote and got one in about 30 minutes. Showed up and paid that exact amount to the penny. Oil change (with filter) change took about maybe 25 minutes. 5 hours later and my car is still running. I drive a mercedes so needed a knowledgeable company. Came in to Lightning Lube this afternoon because I had seen how many good yelp reviews there were. I am from Seattle on my way to Florida and realized I forgot to change my oil before I left. I pulled up and was greeted by Sean, who is very welcoming and made me feel very comfortable. He didn't try to make me feel like I had to buy multiple things. He understood that I was just here for oil change and respected that and was kindly ready to help me in anyway that I needed. Any questions I had he answered calmly and kindly. I waited in the lounge area which has AC, a soda machine, bathroom, a couch and pricing. It was cool and comfortable. PLEASE READ BELOW: I have to emphasize how comfortable these employees made me feel. Being a young woman traveling across the country alone, more often than not people are creepy and uncomfortable.
