Wish I would have read Yelp reviews before using LightRx services. My real assessment would be zero (0) stars. This was a waste of my hard earned money! I wanted dark spots removed from my face. The "sales" person showed me pictures of clients showing wonderful results so I purchased a package. After the alloted number of treatments (which cost me thousands of dollars) they were still there! When I voiced my dissatisfaction that the service didn't work I was told ... "well, they are lighter than when you first came in." This was a terrible experience! I wasted my money here (the local office wouldn't extend the service or give me a refund) so I'll be scheduling something with a "real" service. LIVE AND LEARN! I received a call at 10:50 AM informing me that my aesthetician was leaving early and would not be able to honor my scheduled appointment. Instead of offering options or apologizing, I was simply told I needed to come in at 12 PM. There was no effort made to accommodate my schedule or check if another time today would work. When I expressed confusion, the front desk staff mentioned they "tried to text me but I have them blocked." I chose to unsubscribe from marketing texts because of the extremely high frequency, not because I don't want to receive appointment-related communication. That comment came across unprofessional and dismissive. The tone over the phone felt unnecessary and inconsiderate, especially given that I have only been serviced at this location once before. I would not recommend LightRx based on my experience. I purchased a procedure with the promise of results, but the treatments have not worked as I was told they would. On top of that, the customer service has been extremely disappointing. I had an appointment scheduled for August 22nd at 2:30 PM. Due to heavy traffic, I called ahead to let them know I would be about five minutes late. Instead of being understanding--especially since I am always early for my appointments--I was told that if I was even slightly later, I would need to reschedule. When I arrived at 2:37 PM, after driving an hour, I was told I could not receive my full treatment. This was especially frustrating because on multiple occasions I have been left waiting when the provider was running late, and I've even heard staff mention how slow they are and that they have no clients until closing. Clearly, the "five-minute policy" is not applied fairly or with any consideration for the customer. Overall, I feel the services were misrepresented, the treatments ineffective, and the way I was treated was unprofessional and inconsiderate of my time. I will be disputing the charges and sharing my experience so others are aware before spending their money here. read more

I've gotten tons of services and have now gotten laser hair removal for both of my daughters... each for their 16th birthdays. Best gift hands down. I purchased two memberships for my mother and I. At the time I paid over the phone $700. I made an appointment for my mother and I to come in on her birthday to get some services with the medspa coordinator. I called a few days before the appointment because I had never received any confirmation after sending them my initial paperwork via email. I left a message and never heard back from them. I called the morning of our appointment and was told they had no record of our appointments but that maybe they could squeeze one of us in. My mother was extremely excited about getting Botox for the first time and we planned her birthday around this appointment. When they told me they didn't have our appointment I was furious. I've been here a couple times and I've always had trouble scheduling for my services. Their third party scheduling people are extremely rude and they rescheduled me multiple times for my last visit. I was told I would receive a call back from a manager which I didn't. I had to call back three times before I finally spoke with someone who said they would contact their corporate offices for my refund. This was in April and it's about to be June. I have called and left messages and cannot get anyone to call me back or process my $700 refund. These people are doing bad business and need to get shut down. read more

Ok so, I initially saw the promo on instagram for $99 and read into it and thought it was a great idea. So, I booked my first treatment to snatch my waist and basically was told the treatments were worthless without getting the treat to complete package. So, this package was supposed to shrink my waist without going under the knife. She pretty much told me that if I got the service that was on the groupon that I would be wasting my time and her time because the service at the low level doesn't work. Two weeks ago I got a call that my 2 treatments were cancelled. They told me id be contacted to reschedule. I was contacted on Monday during my work hours and they left a VM saying to call back for rescheduling. That was TWO WEEKS AGO and i haven't gotten anyone on the phone, option 2 is pretty much a voicemail box no one answers or calls back from. I texted them countless times as you can imagine pretty much begging them to reply so i can rebook my appointment. I only got back ONE text from them about rescheduling 4 days ago and when i replied if it included BOTH treatments i never got a reply back. I just called my credit card company to dispute this charge because im obviously not going to get my treatments done in a timely manner (or at all) since it has to be WEEKLY and now its into week 3 with no response. I get that they're transitioning whatever company crap they got going on but that doesn't make me any less disappointed with the lack of customer service care. read more

Good luck trying to get a live person or phone call or make an actual appointment from this place if you purchased a groupon. They will give you the run around and call you via google app. My phone doesnt accept google number calls so they leave a message and we just keep playing phone tag round and round we go for days. They wont give you an actual phone number to call and I think you are actually talking to a BOT. In any event, I had to get a refund because they don't care about groupon customers. Step it up LightRX or you won't get or keep customers if this is how your business operates! Good riddens... will find another med spa to give my business to. read more

Only reason why they got 3 stars was because I got my money back, the two girls that work in there are nice and Maria from corporate was VERY disrespectful. Up until this rude woman called me I had a really good experience with corporate. She talked as if she doesn't have the time of day to talk yet SHES the one calling me. And she stated in the call 'you're done with us just like we're done with you' I don't know how people with no customer service skills make it to corporate. I am reviewing the effectiveness of the treatment and not the service and customer service of the staff. I did not receive a 'freebie' and although I had a 'special' offer applied to my final cost, I can definitively say it was, without a doubt, a very high price for extremely little to barely noticeable results. The treatment was the Venus legacy and consisted of 10 -45 minute sessions once a week. I was interested in improving the crepeiness around my jawline, I'm 51 and so it is nothing extreme at the moment but enough to bother me a little. So this treatment is advertised as effective for improving the texture of the skin but it's important to note that a better option, and more costly one, was available and called Ultherapy. I was told that clients were able to notice improvement from the first or first couple of treatments so I was excited. I felt a very small difference by the 5th treatment but it did not progress. Came my 9th session, the intensity of the treatment was elevated to the point that it felt like a medium sunburn, with some skin flaking off a few days after but I think this was done because of my repeated comments about not noticing an improvement. I called to see if I could get a reinbursement back for the last session I had decided not to get. I wanted them to return the amount or credit it to the payment credit card they offered me, and that I opened for payment plan but they basically stated that since I had gotten an 'offer' this would not apply to me. So I will not go back, it takes me an hour to get there and at this point in time it is just not worth it. I will continue to pay for the treatment and regret I had to post this review but I feel I gave my money away. If I could put zero stars I would but unfortunately I have to put the one. Before starting a treatment with them read all the reviews clients left. Do not come to LightRX. Their customer service is awful. In my third round of treatment I came on time to my appointment but when I parked their was a "closed" sign at their door, lights were off, and no one was at the front desk. I decided to call them twice but no one answered my call. After this I decided to stay in my car and wait. A few minutes later I see a woman walk into the spa so I realized it was now open. When I walked in they said I was late to my appointment even though everything indicated they were closed when I arrived on time. The staff then said that I was in the right however when one of their techs agreed to do my treatment, instead of doing a total 6 shots of laser on my neck the tech only did 2 total. I asked if she was going to do more than 2 and replied back to me with an attitude "no you're ok". Two appointments after this incident I was only late for 3-5 minutes. It took more time to hear the staff member arguing to me about how she cannot see me today and rescheduling my appointment when that time could have been spent doing my simple laser treatment that takes max 5 minutes. The new appointment she gave me was 2 weeks after that day. Today was the day I went to that appointment and arrived right on time. I previously talked to someone from LightRX about how uncomfortable I felt with this tech. They had promised me I would not be treated by her again however she was the one who treated me today. I had to wait for the tech for 6 minutes in the lobby and 5 more minutes sitting down in the treatment room waiting even more for her to do the treatment. I asked why my last appointment was cancelled for being late for 5 minutes when I was there waiting over 10 minutes for her to do my treatment, how does that make sense? She did not respond and ignored me. The only thing LightRX cares for is capturing you the first time for your money then not care for their clients. read more
