This place is located in a nice food truck area with a perfect seating tables and lots of parking. Poke was super fresh and they have so many options even in smaller or bigger sizes. Service was a must to be a food truck. She was very nice and answered the questions we had. I ordered a mini plate because the bowls were too big for me. Delicious. Definitely will come again to try other options.
Nestled in an amply spaced lot outfitted with plenty of parking space and a variety of food truck genres (BBQ, American, Vietnamese, Filipino, etc) Like Poke? was a really fun stop along our trip through Maui. There were many outdoor shaded tables to choose from and the menu options across all food trucks affords variety for whatever members in your party might be in the mood to try. The crispy tako was exactly what it sounds like, octopus calamari served with two beds of rice and spicy mayo to pair along with it. I really enjoyed the freshness of the taco as well as the firm texture beneath the outer layer. The poke nachos were incredibly well balanced with the fresh poke cutting through the heartier fried wonton chip and spicy mayo perfectly.
This is a very fresh poke food truck. It's about 15 min from the airport. A great place to stop after you arrive to grab a quick bite to eat. There are 7 other food trucks in the same parking lot. Parking was free. We got two 2-item combos: one with rice and the other with salad. I liked the Hawaiian style (traditional savory) , Ginger and soy sauce (sweet) , and soyu wasabi (mildly spicy ) . They were all really delicious! It's a chill and cute place to eat with covered patio seating. The wooden picnic tables with benches give this place an island outdoorsy vibe.
I love coming here when I'm craving fish! My go to is usually the mini fried poke, this plate is more than enough to make me full. I've even tried their fried tako and fresh poke which was also really good! They're usually busy so I try to place my order in advance so I don't have to wait too long and the staff is always so friendly. My only complaint would be that the plastic caps for the sauces tend to melt in the container due to the fried foods being so hot and fresh so maybe a new container or just placing the sauces on the side? Other than that, I'll still be back!
Our very last attempt to find great poke was a huge success! I was a little disappointed at first bc they didn't have salmon and salmon is always my go to... but went ahead with the tuna they had. So glad I did. I got the poke bowl Hawaiian style and it was so fresh and some of the best poke I've had! We will be back next year when we return to the island.

I always look forward to ordering the incredible poke nachos I love the wanton crackers and sometimes I treat myself to the amazing poke bowl, which never disappoints! I did try the ahi katsu once and it was a bit dry, but I'm willing to give it another chance. I love the exceptional service here, always a positive experience. I've noticed I never have the same cashier, yet they're all consistently friendly! They're conveniently located at the Wailuku food truck, right across from Subway, with plenty of tables to relax with coworkers, family, friends, or even solo - it's the perfect spot for everyone!
Every time we come to Maui, this is a must do! The hubby & I have only been to Maui twice but have made it a point to come here both times! I love ahi Katsu and the hubby loves his poke so this is a perfect spot for both of us! This place was originally at the food truck area across from Costco but has since moved. They have 3 different types of ahi Katsu here: the original ahi Katsu, ahi Katsuyaki (ahi Katsu dipped in Teri sauce), and spicy ahi Katsu. They do have a sampler plate with all 3 but, we opted for just the ahi Katsuyaki. Each plate is made fresh to order and comes with 2 scoops of rice, a bed of lettuce and a side of sauce. The poke is always fresh, never frozen. The first time the hubby got spicy ahi which he liked. This time he opted for Hawaiian Poke with a soy based sauce, onion, and limu (seaweed). I'm not much of a raw fish person but loved this! It was so fresh with no fishy taste. The workers were friendly and so grateful to have bought from their truck. We'll definitely be back again next time!
Got lucky and came in before they ran out of poke/closed. Located les than 10-15 from the airport. Was able to get a Poke Nachos to share. The Poke itself tasted pretty fresh, well sauced, and had a great kick to it. Pretty large portion too, lots of fish and wonton chips. The woman who helped us was also very nice to take us before she closed up for the day. Worth trying if you're looking for poke before or after the airport.
So this was an experiment for me, I have never had a poke bowl and had no idea what to expect as a "recently decided fish tacos are good" convert i decided to try them out. I have never been a huge fan of sushi and that might be part of the reason for my maybe on this. What i can say is it wasn't terrible the flavor was on point and I very much enjoyed the Hawaiian style poke they had the only downside for me was the texture of the fish, that's probably just a me thing. The seating was good it's a food truck so it's what you would expect (other food trucks available as well in same area) the operator was friendly enough and all in all if you are familiar with ahi tuna and like it it's worth a try
Wonderful place to grab delicious fresh poke offerings right near Costco. Situated with other food trucks with a central area with a few benches to eat at, Like Poke? really was a standout place for its delicious food. While they offer selected cooked dishes, we focused on their signature poke's including their Shoyu Ginger ahi poke, Hawaiian style ahi poke and Spicy ahi poke. In each of them, the ahi tuna was buttery and well-prepared with uniform knife cuts and different complementary flavors. We got their combo poke "bowl" which was a take out container with two scoops of rice, two types of poke and some greens, a couple of the poke cups (poke on top of rice and then drizzled with aioli and furikake seasoning and some greens), and a la carte container of extra poke. We really loved everything but especially the poke cups because of the blend of textures and different flavors all in an easy to eat cup. Really can't wait to go back again! read more
Love Love LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE this place. When you're born and raised here, you eat poke. ALLLLL the time. Our son, who is 4, LOVES poke. You grow up eating this stuff, that's just how it is. And Like Poke? has the BEST service and the BEST poke on Maui. Luckily we had to do a Costco run so I convinced my husband that we should have dinner out, right across the street (SO convenient!!! haha!!) and THEN go to Costco. I know, I'm so smart!!! The food trucks across the street from Costco are usually open until 8pm on Fridays so listen up people, that would be a good day to do some shopping at Costco AND get some onolicious food before you hit that crowd of people buying all their bulk items. We always order the crispy tako when we come here, it is soooo good. I am honestly not a tako person at all. I don't even eat fried calamari at restaurants. But the way they make it here is the best. This is the only place I will eat fried tako. I have given it a try at other places but it doesn't compare to the way they make it here. Normally we also get the ahi katsu or ahi katsuyaki which are both super good dishes but today I ventured out and got the spicy fried poke. DELICIOUS. I should've gotten another one because my son ate almost half of the poke! AND he ate a lot of the fried tako AND he also ate some chicken pad thai that my husband got from the Thai Mee Up (also a great place but that's another review!) that is right next to the poke truck! Both Like Poke? plates came with 2 scoops of white rice. Cannot go wrong!!! With this kine local food, white rice is the way to go. I have turned into a brown rice girl over the years but there are certain things I really have to eat with white rice. Poke and tako are 2 of these things. Its really great that the vendors here all have a comradery amongst each other. They go to each others truck to talk story and get food, its great to see local businesses supporting each other. Cant wait to come back and have more fried poke. Altho the ahi misoyaki was calling my name too....must try that on my next visit! Good thing we go to Costco once a week! read more

Overall - the Hawaiian ahi was one of the best pokes I've ever had. I was hoping to find other poke places that matched up to here, but I couldn't - I wish I could've came back for a second time. Pros - service was quick, the ahi was fresh, cold, and delicious. I would recommend this spot if you just got off the plane, picked up your rental, and craving some food to start your Maui trip. Cons - the shoyu ahi was okay. The Hawaiian was just really really good. read more

I love this place. I stop here every time I'm in Maui. They're ways the 2nd stop from the airport after Costco. The staff is so nice. The fish is always so fresh. On this trip I had the poke nachos, Hawaiian poke over rice, pan fried ahi and ahi with a katsu breading over a bed of nice greens. The last two dishes were my favorites. All were excellent. read more

Like Poke? is getting 5 stars not because of the scenery of the location (across from Costco) or because it's recognized as a 5 star gourmet meals like Mama's or Lahaina Grill, but it is getting it for being one of the best at what it does. What Like Poke? does is present amazing fresh food at reasonable prices and consistently good quality. I have now been back to the food truck a few times. The owner guys are super chill and friendly. They want you to like the food whether you're local or not. I have had the ahi katsu, ahi katsu sampler (comes with spicy, katsuyaki, and regular sauces), furikake fries, and the fried poke. Oh my gosh -- there must be something in the sauce cuz it stay addictive! I haven't tried the regular poke yet (they have plenty flavors) because those other things are so good. The fried poke is a nice way to present the poke -- it's more delicate than the ahi katsu -- the breading isn't panko, so it stays more moist. Both are flavorful. Talking with the owner, the food, except for the french fries (and occasional chicken -- if they're catering), is never frozen! So two things to get from that sentence -- they cater, and always fresh! I will definitely be back to start branching out and try more things on the menu. Love the hawaiian poke! We came here around 12pm after we collected our rental car and we were the last customers in line to be served poke since they ran out. Definitely come early!! Great food truck near OGG airport. read more

After a long flight, we were starving but as a rule, we always look for local food, even if our tummies demand what-ever-fast-food-crap is close by. Like Poke? sits around other food trucks at a hidden dirt parking lot -- it might be quite difficult to find it but it's in front of Costco's gas station. We tried all four styles of poke they offer, thanks to their combo plates. That, along with brown rice, makes up for an amazing poke -- fresh, delicious, and perfectly seasoned. Oh, and the curly fries are to die for! If thirsty, try their lemonades -- the one we got (strawberry infused) was great, not too sweet, and apparently all proceeds from its sale goes to a charity, that means, you have to pay cash for it. All these goodies plus the friendly roosters and hens make for a great start to any Hawaiian vacation :) read more

We decided to have some last minute poke before our flight back home & saw this area full of food trucks. The poke one is off to the side so you won't be able to immediately see it after parking. You must try the Furikake fries ($6) which are phenomenal & very filling. I also had a cup of the spicy poke (comes with rice) which is a decent amount if you don't eat a lot. My boyfriend had the combo plate with half Hawaiian Poke & half Shoya ginger. We were both really happy with our options. He definitely loved my spicy one as well so make sure you try this one. The guys working the food truck are very friendly & will help you decide. They even remembered our names on our way out & asked if we enjoyed our food. Will definitely be back whenever we visit Maui again. read more
Had to update since we were lucky enough to get here this trip before the poke ran out. Although I enjoyed the ahi katsu better last year where it was cooked medium rare in the middle vs. this year's fully cooked ahi, the poke that they will make to order which I got with shoyu and ginger was the bomb!! The fried poke which we also got was good but the regular poke is what I am still dreaming about...super fresh!! They have a new location at the Hideaway which is open during one of the weekend days which is a big plus if you don't get down here on a weekday but I also love just being "local" and hanging out with them at the lunchwagon. read more

After arriving in Maui, my big family craved something yummy and filling (and on the cheaper side if I might add). Found this place on yelp and decided to try it since the reviews were promising. The menu is a little confusing if you don't quite know what to order, but the workers are super friendly and happy to help. It's $10 for a plate; definitely fair pricing. They even hooked it up with waters for us since we had so many people. If we had this food truck back in Cali, I'd probably be there almost every week! I got the raw poke, and it was delicious! The fried poke and smoked meat were good too, but I wasn't too crazy about the roast pork. The owner himself was telling us that he only deals fresh ingredients, so they actually stop selling a certain food item if they run out for the day. Also helpful to know that you can make reservations so he can make sure he has enough fish for you. read more

Returned for another Maui vacation and made two separate trips to Like Poke? for fresh poke. On the first visit, I ordered the Shoyu Ginger Hurricane Poke Cup. My Poke cup had a quarter pound of Poke over white rice and topped with aioli and firikake. My son ordered the half pound Poke Bowl with Ahi Shoyu Wasabi Poke. This bowl had a half pound of Poke, 2 scoops of rice and greens. The Poke were really good sized and you could tell the Ahi was fresh. The flavors of both Poke were delish. On my second visit last week, I ordered the Ahi Shoyu Wasabi Hurricane Poke Cup and my son ordered the Spicy Ahi Poke Bowl. Again, the Poke were really fresh and tasted awesome. So glad I was able to stop by this truck not once, but twice last week. read more

F'real, this has been the best spot we've eaten at since arriving two weeks ago. In the parking lot across from Costco there's about 6 food trucks that all sounded great but we'd heard about Like Poke? And had to give it a shot first, best poke to date. We had the Hawaiian and the Sriracha, along with seaweed salad and the frutake fries. The Hawaiian was my favorite, so tender and a nice balance of acidity. I'm all for spice so the Sriracha was also on point but could use even more of the sauce (I say this for everything, my bf loved it the way it was)...second time have this type of fry, loaded with cheese, onion(?), I don't even know but they're amazing. We've decided once a week after the beach we'll come here since it's to light and refreshing, price is good too; $19 for all 4 dishes which filled up two hangry sweaty beach goers. read more

No words. Ok, a few words... this is the best fish I've had in my life and it was from a food truck by the airport. That's Maui for ya! We had a recommendation from friends to visit this spot right off the plane when we landed for our visit to Maui. Thankfully the timing of our flight was just right and we made it before they closed for the day. The menu features super fresh fish - their classic dishes, raw fish options, sides and lemonades. I recommend sharing - they have decent portions and we had a lot to eat between the four of us. I did the poke bowl - half spicy, half Hawaiian. The fish was so tender and fresh, the spicy was my favorite and served with white rice. Reminiscent of a deconstructed spicy tuna sushi roll, but better. The raw red onion added a crisp bite too. You have to get the lemonade too! Basil strawberry or watermelon, hands down. We sat at the picnic tables and ate there. It's such a low key vibe for seriously good food. If there's anything you do right off the plane, make this a priority! read more

Yah, I'm a fan. My decision was made for me via Yelp bc everyone seems to order the furikake fries but I also tried the fried katsu sampler. It's been a few weeks now but I'm finally organizing my food pictures... I know. I'm crazy. I'm one of those people who takes a photo of the food before enjoying it. The furikake fries are pretty damned good but if you eat slow, it wont taste as good when it's hot. It's packed with flavor and the katsu sampler was a nice way of trying out different fish. To be honest, they all tasted the same to me :O 4*s bc I like it but probably wont crave it. just be aware that it's located on a dusty gravel lot with a ton of other trucks so lots of people walking through and cars kicking up dust. It does get pretty windy in this area so just FYI. I've heard other people complain about that while they were waiting for their food. read more

One of the better poke we had on our vacation in Maui. Like Poke is a food truck located in a parking lot with other food trucks and they all share the same seating area. It is located across the street from Costco. Triple D visited this place and now I know why. The quality of the fish was very impressive and they had multiple marinade options. The dressing they put on the salad was very tasty. read more

I wanted to try this place after seeing it on Diners Drive Ins and Dives. It was good, but It wasn't as great as I anticipated. I got their most popular poke -shoyu ginger- and their spicy tuna option. The shoyu ginger was definitely better than the spicy tuna. My sister got the shoyu ginger poke and ahi katsu. I tried a piece of her ahi katsu. It was good. The sauce on it gave it more flavor. I think it was a little too much on the thick side, as cooked fish like this can be on the drier side. Their prices are steep - not sure if that has something to do with them being featured on Triple D. I ordered their watermelon basil lemonade. It was an interested combination of flavors. I didn't take a liking to it right away, but as the ice started to water it down, it was easier to drink. This as well was over-priced - $4 for a cup! This location is a food truck where other food trucks are located which is across from Costco Kahului. They have a lot of picnic tables to eat on, but it's a little bit of a turn off to have a whole bunch of chickens 'clucking' nearby while you eat. read more
I don't like to post bad reviews but hy husband got the baked poke bowl (I ordered from another food truck, and we shared) and it was SO oily it literally had a cup of oil leftover after we tried to eat it. It actually didn't taste too terrible at first, but we felt disgusting after eating a little bit and also after seeing the lake of oil. We also got the fries and it was covered in the same oil and sauce. I don't like to waste food or money, so I tried to eat as much as I could even after feeling disgusting, but we ended up throwing most of it away and just eating what I ordered from another food truck. :/ I'm not sure if it was an anomaly or what since others seem to like this place, but unfortunately it was definitely a waste of our money since we had to throw the rest of the bowl and fries away after feeling sick from the lake of oil. read more

Best Freshest Poke spot. Tried fried Spicy ahi was very good and the ginger poke also. But I'm more fan of raw fish so will return to try more of that out and not the fried stuff. read more

This was the first meal we had after our flight landed in Maui! We found Like Poke? on Yelp and knew we had to try the furikake fries. Boy was this a great first meal on the islands!! The fries were crispy and savory and the poke was so fresh and delicious. The ahi katsu was super tasty as well, but I think we enjoyed the fries and poke even more. There was plenty of seating nearby and the food was ready very quickly. We enjoyed Like Poke? so much that we made it our last meal before leaving Maui too!! read more
