    Pork sandwich.

Very helpful ladies here. I wanted to try the porchetta which is a large baked pork roast. They recommended the ariccia pepper, pork, Mayo, mixed greens and grilled peppers. Very tasty and $6.50.

I was craving a sandwich or something similar so bad, so I yelped "Panini" and luckily this place showed up right away. We walked like 80 metres and arrived. Likeat offers plenty of Sandwiches with amazing ingredients, such as roast pork. Still I went for a salmon sandwich with some new sauces and salad that were not on the menu yet, but they wanted to see whether guests like it :) Very fresh and tasty! The bread was a little too thick for me though, it would have been nice to have a choice of different kinds of bread. The chef did speak english quite well and recommended us several kinds of sandwiches based on what we prefer. He was super fun to talk to, gave us a few Roman insights and told us how he started his business. All in all it was a nice stay in a small but modern air conditioned (!) place - which was great since I almost couldn't breathe outside :D I'd definitely come back if I had the chance.

Our trip was June 2015. We made this place a must visit based on Tripadvisor review. Let me tell you that we were not disappointed one bit. As a matter of fact, we came and ate here twice during our visit to Rome. Getting to Likeats is not very difficult. I will give you directions from Castel Sant Angelo which is easier. Once you exit and cross over the bridge away from the Castel, make a right. The very next street/bridge is Corso Vittorio Emanuele II where you will make a left. . Travel perhaps 100-150 feet and Likeats will be on your right hand side. It is directly next to a coffee bar. You cant miss it. Both gentlemen/owners were very kind and welcomed us. They wanted to know where we were from and we told them. We ordered and one owner came to check on us to make sure we were enjoying our meal. The second time we came in we had two different sandwiches and shared a bottle of beer. Both visits cost us approximately $10 - $12 Euros per visit. The place is a bit small and most people take their food out. We ate inside both times. There is no extra fee to sit at the tables. When I asked if there was a fee, he just smiled and said that they don't charge here. Of course we asked for picture and had to write our names on their board. We really felt as if we were meeting celebrities. Great place, great food, amazing customer service. This is a MUST VISIT place when in Rome. TIPS One sandwich is very filling and will hit the spot. Prices for all drinks and food unbelievably low for the amount of food you get. Owners can custom make you a sandwich. No Restrooms

Great, great spot with local ingredients done right in their sandwiches down to the bread. Also super place to try local craft beers from Fuimicino, just outside of the airport, Birradamare. I am a craft beer lover and have been doing nothing but wine and cocktails as I wasn't sure about them around here. But boy was I wrong! Try the porchetta sandwiches. You won't regret it.

Buffalo Mozzarella, Pesto, cherry tomatoes, artichokes on toasted Italian bread. 4€ can't beat that.

Tiny sandwich place near St Peter's Basilica. Really fresh bread and really fresh ingredients. When you need a quick sandwich this place definitely works. We plan on coming back before our Roma trip is done. Again, everything's really fresh and the price is right. Hard to beat.

Best sandwich in town. Run, don't walk here for fresh warm bread, tasty meat, and amazing cheese. Great value. We might be back tonight for dinner. Soooooo good.

Had our first meal in Rome here and couldn't have been happier! We had the #1 - Porchetta (roasted pork), mixed greens and balsamic and the #3 - speck, smoked cheese, arugula, roasted eggplant, truffle sauce. Both were phenomenal! Super fresh ingredients, very generous with the ingredients and crazy inexpensive - the sandwiches are 3.5 - 5 euros each and are HugE!!! They also have Kwak beer for 4 euros! Definitely check this place out - its close to the Pantheon / Piazza Navona

Probably the best Roman Sandwich I had while staying in Rome, I would recommend the Massimo and the Luca.

When I arrived there was no line, so maybe I got lucky, just one couple in front of me already inside the shop. Take a number and wait your turn. It's worth it. Sandwiches are made on pizza bianca, a crisp and chewy flatbread native to Rome. They will fill your sandwich with whatever you like, and then weigh the sandwich to price it out. I got mortadella, stracciatella, pesto and sun-dried tomatoes. The sandwich was phenomenal, so delicious and memorable that I recreated it when I got home to the US, bread and all. The sandwiches may seem simple but the ingredients are the best around which really takes things to the next level. Don't miss it if you're in Rome.

We got the Bobby flay (porcheta, stracciatella, pesto) with sun-dried tomatoes and a mortadella sandwich with stracciatella cheese and pesto spread. Both were good sandwiches, but I felt like the meat and cheese to bread ratio is off. One sandwich had too much filling while the other had too little. That said, both sandwiches were tasty.. and after waiting an hour, I had high hopes but unfortunately it just didn't wow me. Service was excellent though.
