Another awesome coffee shop in Koreatown…read more And, you guessed it, because we're in K-Town, the parking situation is not ideal - doable, but not ideal. We managed to find a meter parking spot on the street where the strip mall was located though. There was no line to get in, no line to order and the wait for our drinks was minimal. We came around lunch on a weekday. The space is great. High ceiling so it feels bigger than it is -- and it actually is a pretty big coffee shop. All the tables and benches were occupied. Lots of people working or studying or hanging out. The CORTADO was strong, creamy and not tart. Love it. The ICED LATTE is delicious. The MATCHA COOKIE with white chocolate chips and macadamia nuts was delicious and warmed prior to serving. They roast and sell their own beans. Staff are all nice. Space is beautiful.

I've been a fan of Stagger Coffee for a long time. Even though it's quite far from where I live, I…read morestill make the drive whenever I get the chance because the drinks are consistently excellent. Unfortunately, today's experience left a very bad impression. The cafe was busy, which is completely understandable on a weekend. After waiting for a while, my family finally found an empty table. However, the table was covered with crumbs and drink spills, so I politely asked if someone could wipe it down. A tall, slim Asian male staff member came over with a cloth and cleaned the table thoroughly, but his attitude was shockingly rude. He looked visibly annoyed the entire time, as though I had asked him to do something unreasonable. Understanding that the staff were busy, I immediately thanked him when he finished. He didn't acknowledge me, didn't make eye contact, and simply walked away as if I wasn't even there. I'm sorry, but cleaning a dirty table is not an outrageous request--it's a basic part of running a cafe. Customers who spend their money at your business deserve at least a minimum level of courtesy and respect. Being busy is understandable; treating customers with open hostility is not. What made this especially disappointing is that the drinks were, as always, fantastic. The quality of the coffee keeps bringing people back, but experiences like this make me question whether it's worth the drive. To the staff member involved: if you're unwilling to help customers without showing obvious frustration, perhaps someone with a better attitude should handle customer-facing responsibilities. Great coffee can only compensate for poor service for so long.

The vibe of the cafe was also super cool -- felt like a stylish apartment inside and I loved all the chrome side tables they had. Another bonus star for their service. The barista was very attentive and the drinks came out quite fast despite there being many customers in line. 5/5 and would def recommend adding this to your roster of cafes to check out in k town. :)

I have to admit, the name "Dumbstruck," is rather cute and a catchy phrase. I ordered the iced Butterscotch Latte to satisfy my coffee and sweettooth. The pastries were nearly sold out, I opted for the one filled with Spinach and Feta cheese. The drink and food hit the spot. This little Cafe is fairly new to the area, on the corner of 6th and Catalina Avenue. There are indoor tables and chairs with Wifi service. A cool spot to meetup with friends, or come solo and make new ones. NOTE: Open 7 days a week, closes at 5pm. Street parking available, validated parking next door, but I didn't see that sign at first (parked a block away). Sincerely, Rosemary

I even asked if they could adjust it (they added pistachio powder), but it still leaned more like a mocha to me. It also wasn't that light green color I usually associate with pistachio drinks, so it caught me a little off guard. Overall, it ended up being on the sweeter side. That said, the staff were genuinely kind and the space feels really inviting--somewhere you can actually sit and stay for a bit. There's plenty of seating, which I appreciate. Only downside is parking can be a little tough. Only meter parking but it's great for locals I'd still come back and look forward to trying other menu items like their horchata frappe and some of the bakery goods.

The only disappointment was they didn't serve glassware for my to-stay order. They have a pastry case but no savory food as far as I could tell, which is a bit of a bummer. I'd definitely return though, as it's a good spot to work. Not 100% sure whether they offer WiFi since I hotspotted my laptop to my phone.

When I went to pick it up, I grabbed a saucer to avoid spilling on my way back to my seat. Before I could even walk away, one of the baristas snatched it from my hand and said, "You're not allowed to use that. The saucers go with the latte mugs!" I paused, glanced at the empty café behind me, and replied, "There are plenty available--surely I can use one." He continued, in a dismissive tone, speaking to me in a way that felt unnecessarily disrespectful. I chose to walk away and still enjoy my pour-over. But it's not just about serving good coffee. As Maya Angelou reminds us, people will always remember how you made them feel. And in this space, I felt unwelcome. As a paying customer--one who tipped in advance--that behavior felt undeserved and unwarranted. For that reason, there's no need to return.
