Couplet Coffee is a small coffee shop with an interesting interior colorful design located in the edge of Echo Park on Temple Street. They have a minimalist coffee and pastry selection with some specialty drinks. Similarly, they offer breakfast for those who crave a nice meal. Staff were competent. Service was lovely. Prices seem bloody expensive for the coffee size they offer. I had a Hot Flat White (8oz) which cost $7. Blimey! Overall, this coffee shop has good coffee. And one of the best in the area compared to Tribal cafe.

Loved this cutesy little coffee shop!! They had such a good variety of drinks and as a girl who loves her sweet treats, these drinks did not disappoint! The cashier was also super friendly and very helpful/knowledgeable on the menu so I appreciated that! If I am ever in the area I will definitely be back!

super cute n colorful cafe and with a creative menu. i ordered an iced cafe latte with banana and mm mm mm so yummy. service was great too, the barista offered to add toppings and cinnamon to it and it made it even better. chill spot to hang out for a bit. there's wifi and one charger plug available. there's limited seats though. street parking available so depends on the timing around echo park.

First off, huge thanks to MaryAnn (hope I'm spelling it correctly) for the great service. She was very helpful and knowledgeable about the menu. I ordered 3 drinks: Mango Vanilla Latte, the Banana Bread Chai & the Gulab. All 3 were so unique and delicious. They also have the coolest art and side decor. Will definitely be back again!!

So dangerous that I can walk here from the office! You can't go wrong with their matchas or coffee. Strawberry matcha is yummy and not too sweet. Einspanner coffee is my most favorite! Tons of seating for groups and remote work. Service is quick!

I took my friend here on a Sunday morning before going shopping in Downtown. I had seen Couplet online before and since it was nearby, we decided to stop in. Parking here is fairly simple; there is free street parking right by couplet as well as the street behind Couplet (where I parked), as well as the street before Couplet. The staff inside were very sweet and nice and the decor of this shop is really cute. There is both indoor and outdoor seating available and seems like a very nice place to sit and have a drink in. Banana Matcha Latte 4/5, this was a really interesting banana matcha experience for me. I was expecting more of a banana pudding matcha but this was definitely a banana bread matcha latte. The top included a dash of cinnamon and nuts (allergy prone individuals please be aware) and the drink was good but definitely not what I was expecting so this was a fun surprise!

Colorful vibes adorn the walls and everywhere your eyes can see in Couplet Coffee. My friend and I went into Couplet Coffee when Medium Build was touring in town. They did a special Medium Build Shakerato that was cool and appreciated. We also loved the Coke n' Cream Spro. We love a coffee shop that lives in inclusivity! Overall dope vibes here and I'd come again.

Such a cute spot! I've been meaning to try this place for awhile cause I always pass by it. I got the bananas and cream matcha and it was so good! I need to come back to try their other drinks as well(:

She was genuinely engaged in talking about coffee, understood the beans she was serving, and was able to answer questions without hesitation. That's becoming harder to find these days, and it definitely added to the overall experience. The cortado itself was well executed. The temperature was right where it should be, allowing the flavors to come through immediately without having to wait for the drink to cool down. I was able to clearly taste the notes in the coffee, and the balance between the espresso and milk was excellent. The body held together nicely throughout the drink and never felt thin or watered down. My only critique would be that the crema and microfoam leaned a little more matte and foamy than glossy. It wasn't enough to take away from the drink, but a slightly silkier, shinier texture would have elevated it even further. That said, this was an Ethiopian natural, which can be a bit trickier to dial in and pair with milk while still preserving the character of the coffee, so it's a fairly minor criticism. Overall, a very good cortado from a shop that clearly cares about coffee. Good execution, proper temperature, clear flavor separation, and knowledgeable staff always make for a better coffee experience.

I stopped by on a Wednesday morning and was pleasantly surprised by how many people were working remotely. Aside from one couple enjoying coffee under an umbrella out front, the patio and turf area were calm, quiet, and perfect for getting work done or simply enjoying a little solitude. I ordered an iced coffee with almond milk and definitely needed an extra pump of their organic brown sugar syrup. The coffee itself was good, though not particularly memorable. Since I don't buy coffee very often, $6 felt a little pricey to me--but I don't have much to compare it to. That's the only reason I'm giving it a 4.5 instead of a perfect 5. Overall, I'd absolutely come back for the relaxing atmosphere. It's a great place to work, read, catch up with a friend, or simply enjoy a peaceful morning. You order at the window, grab your drink, and then settle into the patio like you've made a very good life decision. For me, this is one of the better work-friendly coffee spots in the area. The patio is actually pleasant to hang out in, not one of those "technically there are chairs outside" situations. It has enough space and enough of a neighborhood feel that you can post up for a while without feeling rushed or wedged into somebody else's elbow. The coffee is consistently good, and I almost always get the Iced Cafecito. It's the drink that keeps me coming back: easy to crave, easy to justify, and somehow always exactly what I wanted. Not every longtime favorite survives repeated visits, but this one does. A reliable Silver Lake staple for good coffee, a nice patio, and low-key great sit-and-work energy.

This shop is especially effective, offering good quality and great service that seamlessly integrates into the local community and vibe. I came in a Sunday morning after my child had her class at the nearby Klub Gymnastics center. We entered via the surprisingly scenic riverwalk amongst active hikers and bikers, past the nearby bike rental shop, and got in line. The place was packed and filled with like-minded family and others enjoying the morning. With essentially identical products, I evaluate chains like Colombe and Starbucks by how well they integrate with a local community and how busy it is. More people coming and going, more lingering, and more laughter and conversation overheard is what I like to see. This Colombe location fit the bill perfectly, filled to the brim with people were taking in the most of a humid day Frogtown. My large iced tea Chai Tea latte was delicious, as expected, and although a little bit pricey ($7 with tax), it came with great service, a friendly smile, and staff who offered to help my daughter fill her a little cup with water. A friend got the marshmallow s'mores croissant (see pictures) and reported it tasted as delectable as it looked. Truly, this Colombe location embodies the best of what a coffee shop can be, and is absolutely worth a visit during a walk along the LA river or a lazy morning in Frogtown. I normally would order their coffee but i have to watch my caffeine intake so ordered a small iced vanilla matcha. I think it was $7.50 - the average price around town. Upon getting the drink, I was disappointed that the vanilla syrup wasn't mixed. Typically, the matcha is poured over the top so milk and matcha is separate but the sweetener is typically mixed into the drink. Then, came the taste test...and TBH, it was just okay. I'm no matcha snob but it was mediocre...and really, my fault. La Colombe is known for their coffee, not their matcha. However, it was the best $7.50 we spent being able to use their restroom and having found seats outside, we were able to sit and enjoy our bagel sandwiches from Yeastie Boys, pretty much right outside by La Colombe on Sunset.
