Don't take your pet here. They don't listen to symptoms and don't come up with proper care.

They were amazing! My dog isn't leash friendly so he was a little nervous. He loved them and they are wonderful!

Overall we have been pretty happy with the care we've received for our large dog at this clinic…read more She's always happy to walk through the door, it's always clean, and the staff are caring and kind. They could benefit from a more structured system to remind patients when they're due for standard follow up for things like shots, teeth cleaning, etc. We used to go to VCA and appreciated their postcard reminders they would send via mail for pets. I've called a few times with questions that couldn't be answered immediately and they have always called back quickly to follow up with answers which is much appreciated.

Got a new puppy and as I explained to the receptionist, we have 72 hours to get her a health check; due to seller contract. After explaining we were previous customers and that we would prefer not to find another vet as we like Regal, the receptionist repeated soonest appointment would be in 5 days. She did not offer to have the doctor call us to see if she could be squeezed in for a quick health check and set up future appointments for her shots. Reminds me of the commercial - "Please leave the store, we don't want your business. I had to request a call back from the doctor as it was not suggested in Leu of our situation. I will be happy to update this review if the doctor does indeed call us back and helps us in a timely manor. Disappointed that the CARE of previous customers with a much needed request was handled over the phone, frankly with a cold response . Pat Jones Update - the doctor called back 6 hours later and claimed we had requested a Friday appointment and that her receptionist had mis-understood my request. There is No way she could have mis-understood when I asked for an appointment explaining 3 times and giving the reason 3 times for an appointment within 72 hours. 15 years with Regal and the doctor choose to stand behind her help rather than her loyal customer. We have moved onto another Vet.

I've only been here once so far, but I was really impressed on several counts. 1) They got me in…read morequickly to take care of a pressing flea problem. 2) They charged less than any vet I've seen for the appointment. 3) They had a full house when I got there and pretended that's why they wanted us to wait in the car, which I thought was very tactful. 4) They solved the problem quickly and wo hassle. 5) They did not shame me about letting my cat outside like many vets would, understanding that some cats would have a much lower quality of life wo the stimulation. But the biggest reason I felt compelled to write this review was that a very loud and determined woman was in the room next to mine trying very hard to get her cognitively impaired sister's cat put down. It was a really tricky issue with a whole lot going on, and I thought the vet handled it exceptionally well. He made room for whatever was going on w her but never stopped advocating for the poor kitty to be rehomed instead. There are just so many ways an interaction like that could have gone off the rails. He handled it really well.

I took my dog to Five Mile Vet Clinic for a cyst on her tail. After it was accidentally nicked at…read morethe groomer, she started chewing on it, so the vet recommended tail docking. We were given antibiotics and scheduled surgery for December 2024. Getting an estimate was difficult--I had to follow up multiple times. When I finally received it, the estimated cost ranged from $767.94 to $933.23. By surgery day, the estimate had increased to $962-$1,130 with no clear explanation. After surgery, the final bill was $873.91, but the procedure description had changed from "Tail Dock" ($214.50) to "Tail Amputation" ($363.60). When I asked about the discrepancy, staff became defensive and insisted it was within the estimate range. The vet later admitted mistakes were made but said he would adjust the invoice only if he could add surgery time to make up the cost. Additionally, I was never told to change my dog's bandage after surgery, which led to an infection and a $750 emergency vet visit. While the clinic did provide follow-ups at no charge, I was frustrated by the lack of clear communication and pricing inconsistencies. Based on my experience, I wouldn't recommend this clinic. Make sure to question clinics like this. They are a for profit, maximizing profit over true care for your animal in my opinion.

Every time she had an issue, they charged me hundreds of dollars, shrugged, and said she'd probs be fine. Well, when she injured her paw, that was true, though I'm not sure why I had to pay $600 for that "diagnosis." But when my 8yo cat who'd never had so much as a hairball in her life suddenly started throwing up regularly, no, it wasn't just what cats do as they get older. I had to discover for myself she's allergic to chicken and our water was contaminated. The last straw was when she got fleas for the first time in her life. We did everything, but couldn't get rid of them on our own. So I called the vet who said she had to come in before they could prescribe her something, and they couldn't see her for a month. If we'd have waited a month, we'd both have been dead from blood loss. So I got her in to another vet three days later, and now we're happy clams. Wish we'd switched sooner.

When I knew that it was the end with a vet clinic (my husband and I loved Dr. Carter), I made an appointment with this place and all was good with our elderly cat that had medical issues an dental work. The Cats Meow made this appointment with me and then, a day before the appointment, dropped me like a hot potato. I have absolutely no idea what this meant, but I will never forget it.
