This time, when I contacted the app, "Slice" to confirm delivery 30 minutes past the promised delivery time, I received a very nasty phone call from the owner's son. He didn't let me speak, he blasted me and then hung up on me. I immediately called back and he did the same thing, hanging up on me a second time! I JUST WANTED TO CONFIRM DELIVERY!!! This place is located about 5 miles from my neighborhood. Conveniently located for sure. However, for whatever reason my total visits here up until today, have been zero. Its amazing what occurs when one decides to explore other areas of their neighborhood. It's a perfect neighborhood go-to for a wide variety of reasons. Dining area is spacious, clean and inviting. Menu offers a great selection of pizzas, salads, appetizers and hoagies. They offer 4 draft beers or an overabundance of bottled beer to choose from when opting to dine-in. Ordered our favorite extra large pizza with mushrooms and bacon. It was delicious! It was nice and warm when we brought it home. We also got 4 sides of the garlic butter and 2 orders of fried mushrooms. This is definitely the best value around for pizza. They were extremely busy for pick up. I was 8th in line when I went in, and they got through the line fairly quickly for a Friday night. Highly recommend if your looking for a great value and good food! The environment is family friendly if you would like to take your family out for dinner. Lighting is not too bright, and there is typically a sports channel on one of the big screen tv's. read more

Wow! I'm sorry to say but my local pizzeria has the worst food I ever wasted money on. But I keep giving them a chance, and one or two times in 5 years they surprise me. But the surprise this time blew me away. I ordered two pizzas one for kids and a pirogi pizza for me. What I received was cheese bred! No crust to mention, zero rise in dough. And no mashed potatoes on the pirogi pizza to mention. So I take it back and the person I talked to lied to my face and tried to explain they try to achieve a flat pizza. But I been getting pizza on very few occasions over a 5 year period and NEVER seen a flat pizza from them. So I just explain I'll never spend a red cent in this terrible establishment again. What is rule number one when answering the phone and taking credit card numbers over the phone? You never EVER repeat the numbers over the phone back to the customer, you ask the customer to repeat them to you if you want to make sure you have them right. This is a common sense business practice. Apparently not at this pizza shop though. Because I have repeatedly, four times now, had to tell the SAME girl answering the phone not to repeat my numbers back to me. Anybody could be in the room writing those numbers down. Anyone. And if you're repeating them back to me you obviously wrote them down. Which is also not a good idea at all.. Even if you're typing them into a screen in front of you you never ever repeat them back to the customer. You always ask the customer to repeat them to you. Either way no one should be repeating credit card numbers back to the customer over the phone for everyone to hear. EVER.. The girl who is working there on September 26th, apparently does not understand these business practices. Even after it being explained to her four times. I won't order from there again. Not because their food isn't any good. I'm not ordering anything else because we have this thing called identity theft that they don't seem to be aware of. read more

My experiences at Lilja's have all been very good! I always do takeout, so I can't comment on the dining-in experience, but the takeout is great. I always opt in for the sweet sauce pizza and the onion blossom. The blossom is phenomenal and this is one of the only places you can get it in the area. The staff is super friendly and my order is always correct and ready when I arrive. The 6 pack shop also offers a pretty good variety of beers, with some local options too. Your pizza has a good taste. I recommended my local work office to your restaurant, & they will be ordering everyday, because I recommended you to them. I then again called to order a dinner the same evening. I specifically asked your staff, concerning a steak salad & extra dressing with no onions. I even said, "is your steak salad like chopped up steak, or is it chopped up steak ums"? The person who answered that call, lied! Nor did they get much of the order right. Your in the area and want a pizza... this place is great. Your have to ask for it but the best thing about their pizza is the sweet sauce. It just gives a hint of sweetness but makes such a difference. That is alway my go to but I also enjoy getting their fresh potato chips. With an order you get some French onion dip which is also wonderful. You can get take out beer here but be sure to check out their craft beer section. A couple of years ago they re-did the inside. Nice and open. FOod is good and they have plenty of tv screens for games and such. They also have a six pack shop to go if you need to run in and out for beer. Overall a nice place to go and chill out, or watch a couple games. read more

This business has a second location in Delmont, Pa just a few miles up Rt 66 and for some reason, the pizza differs between the two locations. The Delmont location is absolutely delicious, the best pizza that is served in the northern Greensburg area. The pizza at the Greensburg Lilja's location is seriously lacking. I can't put my finger on what exactly is wrong but it just isn't the same quality or taste as their Delmont location. The quality here has definitely gone downhill. The pizzas and hoagies are just average. We used to order because of the onion blossoms, they were amazing. Our last two were really bad, though. One had the skins on and the other was completely raw, batter included, in the middle. The staff always seems rushed or inconvenienced when we call. read more

I ordered a pizza, and was told 40 minutes. I called at an hour just to be sure everything was okay, and they said the pizza was on its way with no apology. The pizza came at 85 minutes, over double the wait time. I don't mind waiting if it's a long wait, but tell me it's 60-80 minutes wait not 40 minutes. We ordered a pizza through their web site. When we went to pick up our order there was a clerk very loudly telling me that the prices was wrong on the website and the difference was about $10. I said that we paid through the app. First he stated the special we ordered was 50 cents more, then he went off that on other things. He even stated that he just trying to inform about the price change because he did not want a bad review. I stated that I just dont want to pay twice for the pizza. As he is explaining the louder he get, and I stated I just want to pay once for the pizza. Then he said the website I ordered from not theirs, even though it states the address I picked the order up. As this is going on the line for beer is getting long. We were they around 3pm and the local beer drinkers, who knew down to the pennies how much their beer cans cost, and they did not purchase any food just the beer. The lady that was the cook, come out and said I was to sit down because she had to wait on HER customers. I guess I was not customer because I ordered food, and maybe cause I made her work to make my order. If I did not prepay for the order, I would not have stayed. I often wondered why when driving by the parking lot is almost always empty and now I know, it is just a stop for picking up beer on the way home. The customer service and food should not even earn a star but there nothing lower. They even got our order wrong, so I guess following directions is not a strong point with them either. The manager "Mary" has got to b the most rude person I have ever encountered! Called to say my pizza was ice cold and she questioned me as if I were lying about my pizza!
