It's still in the testing phase but we had a great time. No issues at all. Our journey started at Truxton Park Boat Launch. You have to park in the parking lot and walk about 2-3 min to the boat launch. We completed the consent and boarded the watercraft and took a brief tour of Annapolis while Andy "walked on water" to propel the boat. We saw tons of yachts and expensive houses. Next, we disembarked and sat on a blanket under a shaded tree for lunch and laughs . Andy is great with kids. After lunch, we hopped into the water for some swimming ‍‍ and water football (life jackets provided). Andy played an awesome water playlist to include the theme song for JAWS , Gilligans Island , and Titanic . After swimming, we got back on the boat for some stand-up paddling and squirting birds with a water gun. We saw a few beautiful herons and ospreys . We also waved and chit chatted with a few boaters and kayakers. It was a creative adventure! Frank is a very knowledgeable, thorough teacher who really takes the time to understand his students and ensure they have all the tools and training they need to dive safely, be confident in the water, and have fun! You can really tell he loves what he does, as his enthusiasm is incredibly contagious. There's no question you can't ask him, and with so many years experience, I definitely felt comfortable that if a problem arose he'd know immediately how to handle it. He shared many stories about his time as both a diver and instructor, demonstrating his wealth of knowledge on the subject. Do yourself a favor and sign up with him, because you will hit the water well prepared and really be able to enjoy yourself.

He took the time to explain additional training opportunities with me that were exactly the sorts of experiences I was after. I have 38 dives in the books and five certifications (AO, AOW, ENAX, Deep, and Wreck diving) now and I know the solid foundation I received under his instruction is a part of that. I did lose my reg at 45 feet on a night dive in the Bahamas and it was no big deal, I simply fell back to training, recovered my reg and finished the dive. #Frankismydivebuddy and he should be yours!

It went in on a Thursday. Diver came out on a holiday, at their normal rate, and assured me he could find it. I thought he was smoking something or deluded, because it was lost in 24 feet of water in the infamously filthy (yet getting better thanks to some environmental efforts) Baltimore Inner Harbor. He was in the water for maybe half an hour before he surfaced. "Is this it?" He asked as he handed my ring to me. Thoroughly professional. Personable. Efficient. Reasonable rate. It's strange because normally these are not open on the weekend so it was refreshing that this one is even if we did miss it. No worries we will send an email in for our stamp. This island is very large, and full of life. Jeff says You can smell the crabs lololol I thought more like a worm farm. Seen wild turkeys, birds, water and ducks. Unfortunately not the greatest weather but we will still take it. #88 in the books

Excellent spot for birding…read more It's not as visited as other places so taking photos/videos of wildlife is easy. I came into contact with perhaps 3 other human beings. It's winter now, of course, but that's when you can see more birds because they're wintering here. I was able to observe for the first time many tundra swans, with their distinctive black bills; what a treat. Also, terns, yellowlegs, sandpipers, herons, egrets, snipes, plovers, gulls and a large number of ducks, including a hooded merganser which I hadn't seen before -- so striking. Enjoyed Tubby Cove and Box Point. Took walks on a variety of trails. The refuge is 2,285 acres and that makes this place nice and quiet. The local history is interesting too, well, at least I think so. Eastern Neck is just my speed.

We chose Goddard after trying others and found that it, and owner Sheeba Mathew have no equal. Ms. Sheeba knows the name of every child, every parent, every sibling, and in some cases even the grandparents of every child who is currently or has ever been a member of the Goddard family. Beyond keeping our children safe and comfortable, Ms. Sheeba and her incredible staff of administrators and teachers provide a wonderful foundation for kids to learn and grow. There is very little teacher turnover, which is great because it gives stability at an age where kids tend to really need it. When you see your kids eyes light up as they run into the classroom and hug their teachers, you just know you've made the right call. The education provided at Goddard is also outstanding. My 5 year old son has learned not just reading and numbers but science and history. He's learned about the world that surrounds him goes well beyond his Maryland zip code. I've watched him thrive in this beautiful, amazing environment. It's been incredible. This week we say goodbye to the school we love. Next week he will start kindergarten. His years at Goddard have prepared him for this, and I am beyond grateful. He is ready to achieve great things. Though both his heart and mine break at the thought of leaving, we know that we will remain part of that special community Ms. Sheeba has created and we remain eternally thankful for it. Capt Rob was calm, communicated articulately and knew the area perfectly! My hats off to a terrific Capt!
