Went into get something to snack on and ended up with more food than we could ever eat. We got a medium breakfast burrito. It was bigger than any single burrito elsewhere. There was so much meat in it that it was by far delicious. My only qualm was the smell inside. I was very turned off by it. When we first walked in it had a weird smell and no one was inside... but we stayed and glad we did.

YUM!! Great service, great food!! This authentic Mexican breakfast was just what we needed to start our day. The portions were so large that we were able to eat it for breakfast the next day. We really enjoyed stopping in and were happy with what we ate out on the patio. The inside of the restaurant was clean and welcoming. There were a lot of patio tables outside so we opted to sit in the sun. Staff was helpful and everything was made fresh. I really enjoyed lilys and would go again. Just expect a huge burrito if you order one!

Mali-boo to the negative reviews, because this place tickles my fancy! They must be envious because that green sauce is so tasty, I could (and admittedly did) drink it up. The Al pastor was as succulent a the shrubbery around, yet delightfully tantalizing to the tasteful senses.

They originally gave us a one-hour wait time but we're not from Malibu, so "when in Rome," I suppose. That turned out to be completely off (for the better)! The breakfast burrito was so filling that I was barely hungry by 8pm after having it at 1pm. The crispy bacon was a good texture contrast to the smooth refried beans and scrambled eggs, which were objectively the most tender eggs I have ever had in my life. The only downside was the price point was a little higher than I expected, but it was also a lot of food.

HUGEEE breakfast burritos. I highly recommend sharing unless you're super hungry. We waited about 15-20 minutes and it was worth the wait. My friends kept saying how much they loved the beans. I got the veggie breakfast burrito and loved the assortment of veggies inside. The bacon was crispy in the other breakfast burritos but wish they added more! The sauce they give you definitely has a kick.

Burrito and the beach! Perfection! Egg whites, bacon (well done), beans, and cheese.... and of course the infamous green hot sauce ;-p

Sunday 11/30/25 Just have to give props to whoever was in the kitchen this morning! Thank you! Also to the girl who took my order over the phone and rang me up....she was nice (I think maybe her name was Jamie??? Or??? Hair was up in a bun and tattoos). Thank you! My breakfast burrito was exceptional! It's always yummy, but today it was extra yummy :-p I requested for my bacon to be extra crispy and it was! It was muy delicioso! Purrfection! Got my two jars of hot sauce too :-)

Right before heading into Lily's I witnessed a McLaren hit a Model Y as it was backing out, symbolic in many ways of our times, and the Tesla owner just replied "no worries man". That is the level of chill I wish to achieve but not after taking a bite of this cheesy delicious burrito goodness that got me drooling like a rabid perro (means dog in Spanish lookitup)! Will come again to try the other burritos and their salsa!

We came here for lunch while visiting Malibu and had some of the worst food we've ever had. We waited over 30 mins after placing our order at the counter and paid $21 for 3 super dry chicken flautas that don't come with guacamole and $17 for 2 bland fish tacos. The cost of the food did not match the taste. From the other reviews seems like the breakfast burritos are the better items to get here, but unfortunately we will not be choosing to return.

Delicious burrito. We split a large between two people and it was the perfect size. Lots of seating for groups. Kind staff. Would come back!!

Lily's has long been on my list of places to try and so glad I did! I'm always on a hunt for great breakfast burritos. I heard online that it's best to order ahead. Website was very easy to place our order. We got there early and there was plenty of parking on a Saturday morning. There is seating indoors and outdoors in the plaza. I ordered the medium bacon burrito. In my opinion it was quite large and I was full for most of the day! The price point was reasonable ($16) and what I liked is that it was full of protein... eggs, beans and bacon and cheese. Simple yet so good. This is definitely my new go-to spot if I'm hitting up the beach early. Looking forward to coming back!

I definitely will be returning to Lily's Malibu after ordering their Bacon Breakfast Burrito. With just a medium, I was already stuffed! The area is also really cute, with surrounding stores and businesses that are worth shopping at. There was plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, and you are able to seat yourself anywhere you want.

All were amazing! We also enjoyed our breakfast date with the BEC sandwich on brioche and egg platter with sourdough toast. For the food, it is a great place and a nice option for breakfast and lunch, and for a sweet treat! However, the staff is unwelcoming and provides a cold experience! For example, when you are ordering - they act uninterested and impatient with taking an order. Smiles are hard to come by and even worse is the nasty attitude received when we were trying to help a woman with three large bags of food to her car; when my son attempted to retrieve the remaining bag for her - he was yelled at by the owner, Scott. He preceded to tell my son that he should have been told that we were helping the woman; and never apologized for the tone that he took with my son who was only trying to help the woman with a large order. IDK, maybe offer to help the woman to the car...just an idea since it didn't seem to register that it would've been a nice thing for him to do for his customer! As the owner, he should be setting a better example to his staff and to the community that he serves who are local to or visiting Malibu! It's a shame to have been left with such a bad experience; and hope that he and his staff might read this and change how they manage and serve their customers!

The service and hospitality were genuinely wonderful. Unfortunately, the food and beer didn't come close to matching the experience. I started with the Happy Days Honey Blonde Ale, which I understand is one of their most awarded beers. I was pretty surprised by how little flavor it had. It was nearly flavorless and honestly difficult to finish. I'd rather have a Bud Light, which somehow has more flavor. For food, I ordered the MBC Smashburger. It sounded like a winner from the description and looked fantastic when it arrived, but after the first bite, I knew something was off. The meat had virtually no seasoning or flavor. Even a basic amount of salt would have made a huge difference. The burger came with their house-made potato chips, which again looked great, but unfortunately had the exact same problem. They tasted like plain fried potatoes with seemingly no salt or seasoning at all. I don't know if the kitchen was simply having an off day, but overlooking something as fundamental as seasoning, especially salt, is pretty disappointing for food at this price point. There was clearly effort put into the presentation, but presentation only gets you so far when the food itself lacks flavor. Great location, excellent hospitality, and very friendly service, but based on the beer and food I had, there's a lot of room for improvement in the kitchen and brewery.

Parking was a little tough on a weekend during the summer, but to be expected. We got a spot down the street on PCH and walked there -- all good. We waited in line for about 20 minutes which gave us plenty of time to get a little mini tan AND decide what we wanted by the time we got to the register: grilled swordfish with rice pilaf and salad, fried shrimp plate with fries, a New England clam chowder and 2 iced teas. First, the swordfish -- a delicious fish, barely needed to be seasoned. that said, I asked for it well done and part of the fish was still a bit undercooked. the salad was a BORE. nothing tasty about it -- don't bother - the Italian dressing tasted like cheap bottled dressing from the market. I expected more. the rice pilaf was good but I felt like it had A LOT of butter in it -- not necessary -- the flavor was there without the extra fat. my friend got the fried shrimp and fries and it was ... just .... OK. You tell me how ANYTHING fried is just OK. It doesn't make sense. Shrimp tasted like it had been frozen. I'm not saying it was -- just saying it tasted like it. Oh and my friend got the LAST order of Dungeness Crab and didn't even eat it -- said it gave him the ick. But, in fairness -- it was the last bit of it. Still, the chefs should only want to serve the best and this was not it! The New England clam chowder though = DELICIOUS. it was the fave of everything we ordered. I'd go back, but I'd go on a weekday when they are not so slammed. I bet the food is better and I hate waiting in line for food especially when it's just OK.

There's a lot of variety, from cut fruits to breakfast burritos, baguettes to bagels, sandwiches to poke. Many of the wraps and sandwiches looked sad and dry. $12 for cut papayas and $19 for small cut mixed fruits (if you are thinking organic, nada conventional). So I went on a little trip to Malibu with my partner and we saw this place on tik tok and wanted to…read moretry it. I ordered the "Surfer princess" sandwich & the "Zuma Submarine." The sandwiches were big, filling and fresh. The sandwiches come a little side of salad and dressing to fill the plate. The place also sells chips and drinks to fill the meal if desired. Glancing down the menu, the Portofino Sando caught my eye (grilled chicken breast, pesto sauce, Swiss cheese, lettuce, and tomato on toasted ciabatta bread). All "yum words" in John world...and boy, it hit the spot. Fresh, warm, toasty, clean, crispy... more yum words. It came with a basic side salad, just lettuce and carrot shavings, but it worked, especially with the ginger dressing. Very good size too: half now, half later as "lefties" and 1/2 the Cal's are my jam. I'm typically a full-flavor, spice-forward guy, but this hit the spot. If they had sun-dried tomatoes and I'd added bacon... 10/10. Without, still a solid 8.5! Throw in a pickle slice? 9.0. All good though, I'll be back. Cool little shopping center too. I'll have to bring my wife next time but avoid the "cute" store shopping if I want to stay on budget. LOL p.s. yes I only ate 1/2 the sando but Truth be told (TBT) I scarfed the entire cookie which was VG!
