I first tried Gravina about 7~8 years ago with my mother as we were spending the day in Malibu. It was delicious and we had a wonderful time! I later moved to the Camarillo area and I often passed through on the 1 and saw Gravina and I'd always tell my husband we would have to go back, remembering back to the great experience with my mom. Well we finally were able to go back recently and it was just as good as I remembered! The staff are incredibly the friendly, the restaurant was so clean and quiet and they even let us have our small dog on the patio. The food was exquisite! Truly delicious Italian food. I recommend Gravina to anyone who wants a delicious meal with incredible service was a staff that makes you feel like family.

Love this place! From the warm greeting when you walk in, the ambiance, and the delicious food! Best ravioli I've ever had. Pesto is yummy too. Service is also amazing! Our new favorite Italian restaurant!

Love the ambience it's a great place for date night, because very low-key and quiet so that you can carry on conversations without struggling to listen to the other person. We usually go there on a Friday night and the parking lot in the front of the restaurant always has a parking spot which is what we like about this place.. Service is great. The owner comes out and greet you and have conversations with you. The ambience Intimate and warm. The food is great. We come here for the octopus. The eggplant Parmesan is interestingly prepared. The eggplant is sliced, very thinly and is absent of gooey mozzarella not your traditional eggplant Parmesan.

Great service and ambiance! We were seated in the covered patio area and it was perfect! We got to see the lights outside, and we stayed warm inside the restaurant! The service was great overall, and the food was delicious! Everything came out in a timely manner, and everyone got their food around the same time so no one was waiting around! One of our friends started feeling sick after we finished dinner, and the restaurant was very respectful and attentive to our needs and did not try to rush us at all! I will definitely be back here, and all my guests loved the food as well! There is extra parking in the back if you can't find any in front of the restaurant!

Amazing service, ambience, and food was 10/10! Get the berry tart, I'm dreaming about it until I come back.

That said the service felt a bit uneven. There were a few large party tables, and it seemed like the staff was more focused on them than on our party. We were seated outside at the farthest tables so I'm not sure if that played a role, but we had to ask multiple times for water refills and waited quite a while before being able to order. At one point we even had to get up and find someone after waiting about 20 minutes. The food timing was also a little off other tables that arrived after us were served first, and some of our plates came out a bit colder than expected. I do understand it was a busy graduation day with large groups, so things may have been more hectic than usual. One other concern was the outdoor seating. While the space itself is nice, the chairs didn't look properly cleaned, and some guests unfortunately didn't notice bird droppings until after sitting down, which ended up getting on clothing. I would consider going back because the food was good, but probably not during busy times or with a large group, and I'd hope the outdoor seating is better maintained next time.

The prices were fair and we got to take half of our meals home.

If you're a fan of zucchini blossoms, you'll absolutely love their FIORI DI ZUCCA RIPIENI. It's a delightful dish that's sure to impress. One of my favorite salads is their INSALATA DELLA CASA, which is a refreshing and healthy option. Adding grilled shrimp takes it to the next level. Now, let's talk about their main courses. Their seafood and pasta dishes are all mouthwatering, but here are our favorites: 1) CACIO E PEPE: This dish is incredibly delicious and goes to another level when you add their grilled shrimp and truffle. 2) BRANZINO: Their seafood is cooked perfectly every time, and they often have HALIBUT as a special dish, which we love as a great alternative. 3) BOLOGNESE: Our son absolutely devours this dish, and it's a great option for kids. 4) STROZZAPRETI: This pasta dish is another great choice, filled with a lot of flavor. 5) LASAGNA: It used to be our number one dish until we started exploring their menu. 6) BRASATO DI MANZI: This is an ultra-delicious bone-in slow-braised beef short rib dish that's out of this world! Unfortunately, only the prices lived up to that expectation. The biggest disappointment was discovering that the restaurant's much-talked-about lobster and shrimp tacos are no longer even on the menu. We settled for the fish tacos, which arrived overcooked, dry, bland, and somehow cold at the same time. The one thing my dining partner and I did enjoy were the sweet potato fries, which ended up being the highlight of the meal. The "famous" $40 sangria carafe was another letdown -- overwhelmingly sweet, more like fruit punch than an actual sangria, and surprisingly lacking the kind of balanced, boozy flavor you'd expect from a tourist beach restaurant charging those prices. The atmosphere also felt tired and past its prime rather than lively or charming, and while not entirely the restaurant's fault, being seated next to a table of five very energetic six-year-olds didn't exactly improve the experience. What should have been the perfect ending to a beautiful beach day instead left us feeling disappointed, sad, and honestly a little ripped off.
