Beautiful outdoor and very friendly service! The calamari was yummy and had good quid pieces. I got lemon on the side. The red sauce is sweeter than my preferred calamari sauce but still yummy. The paella was also very good and lasted as great leftovers. Good seasoning, I loved the pork chop in there. Also, pasta straw?? I kinda loved it. Water tasted extra fresh prices are definitely for family styled sharing
Hubby & I booked the cabana chairs out on the beach area for the day. We decided to grab a chill brunch before we relaxed by the beach. Most folks want to do the alfresco dining but the wait is longer. Hubby enjoyed his loco moco dish. I got the simple 2 sunny side up with sour dough bread and a side of fruit. I ate most of the macadamia nut butter pancakes. I liked how it was thin and not thick layered. This meal kept was energized till the evening. The restaurant validates on the parking. Best to come early to get parking inside the premises or else you need to park out by the roadside.
Beautiful view, but a very disturbing experience with food safety and management. We ordered mussels/clams and found broken, sharp pieces of shell in the food. This is not something a customer should simply be expected to accept. Shell fragments can be extremely sharp and can potentially cause injury if swallowed. What made the situation even worse was the manager's response. Instead of apologizing, replacing the dish, or taking the concern seriously, the older gentleman managing the restaurant basically told us that it was normal because the shells had already come broken and that it was therefore fine to have pieces of shell in the food. Seriously? If a shell breaks during preparation, that does not make sharp shell fragments acceptable to serve to a customer. The dish should be checked and the fragments removed before it reaches the table. There was no apology, no replacement dish, and apparently no concern whatsoever about the potential risk to the customer. This is especially disappointing because the location and view are beautiful. But a nice view means absolutely nothing if the people preparing your food and managing the restaurant have this attitude toward basic customer safety. Owners: please pay attention to who is preparing and serving food at your restaurant and how your managers respond when customers raise legitimate safety concerns. One careless attitude toward something as basic as broken shell pieces can completely destroy a customer's trust in your establishment. I would strongly recommend that anyone ordering mussels, clams, or other shellfish here inspect the food very carefully before eating it. Beautiful location. This is a beach front restaurant. The view is stunning. You can hear the waves and can walk on the beach before or after dinning. View is five stars. Service was okay. It took a while to get our order. This location can be busy, so making reservations is recommended to avoid the wait time. It is both dine in and outdoor seating area. Food was amazing. No complaints about the food. I ordered Cheeseburger with fries. It was cooked perfectly and was fresh. Fries were good too. This restaurant validates parking tickets. It has a parking lot too. There is also street parking available but can be hard to find one depending on the time.

We ordered Scallops so delicious & Fish and Chips (not greasy) Servers are lovely and interested in connecting with the guest. Yes! I will be back!
This is worthwhile stop for families to eat and frolic at a small beach. The food is good, you can dine inside or outside in the sand, the views are nice, and the atmosphere is fun. You'll need to bring your wallet to pay for parking and pay more than the average cost of a meal, probably due to the location. It's got a nostalgia feel, since it's been there for ages. I've taken my family in the past and also met friends there. On a recent visit, I ordered a Cuban sandwich, and my pal ordered a fish sandwich. Both were good, but did they really need to go overboard with the fries? We both enjoyed a glass of white wine and their wine list is decent. I only wish the prices were a bit more reasonable.
We stopped by for our lunch/dinner. Once we entered they seated us right away. So many items to drink and to eat. If you are eating outside table and chairs are in sand . We chose to eat inside it was cool with a nice breeze.. I will come back for breakfast. Overall I will return and recommend. The food is delicious and yummy all the drinks were delicious. It's been ages since I came here and I forgot how solid the food is! It's no fine dining but it's about as good as it gets with a view like that. All food is simple but well portioned. True beach food. The shrimp aguachile verde was a whole pound of shrimp with a bit of a kick and was delicious and the fish and chips were solid. Make sure to get here early so you can get your name on the list because it gets busy especially on the weekends so if you want a table right on the water, you'll have to wait a bit. Good thing you can wait on the beach and they'll text you when your table is ready! The staff are very friendly and I definitely suggest not skipping if you are going to the beach.
Saw Paradise Cove on TikTok and had to check it out for the beachfront dining. Reservations are recommended! It's in Malibu with a paid parking lot (validation available), but spaces are limited, so street parking is another option. We walked in on a Saturday around lunchtime and waited about 50 minutes for a table. The vibe is super beachy and gave me Hawaii vacation vibes. Indoor seating had little to no wait, but we chose the patio for the ocean view. Unfortunately, we didn't get one of the front-row beachfront tables. We ordered the clam chowder in a sourdough bread bowl, jumbo crispy onion rings, taco platter, and the Malibu Mai Tai served in a pineapple. The kitchen was backed up, so it took another 45 minutes for our food to come out. Honestly, the food was pretty mid and most of it came out cold, except for the clam chowder. The onion rings weren't very crispy, and the tacos were dry and lacked flavor. Overall, you're really coming here for the location, views, and atmosphere, not the food. The beachfront setting is beautiful if you can get a good table, and the staff was friendly, just very slow service during a busy weekend. Between waiting for a table and our food, we spent about 2 hours before we could actually eat. If you can, I'd recommend visiting on a weekday instead.
The views from the restaurant were so beautiful. There was plenty of outdoor seating right on the beach. They have a giant menu and the serving sizes are very generous. I got the caesar salad and the plate was almost a foot wide. The grilled chicken was very good and so were the chicken wings with fries!
11 of us came here to celebrate a birthday. We made reservations a few days ahead of time but it still took over a half hour to get seated but once a table was free they cleaned it upon quickly and got us seated. With this many people you can imagine the different foods we got, some to ear alone and some to share for all including onion rings and sourdough bread and guacamole & chips. We all thought the food was good including fish & chips, fish tacos, BBQ chicken sandwiches and salads. They were kind enough to give us a free 3lb chocolate birthday cake for free. As you can imagine it's not cheap to eat here and there's a nice view of the beach and ocean which makes it nice both in sunlight and at sunset.
We found this spot and it was amazing spot. It was cozy and so chill and peaceful way to end our weekend. Our kids enjoyed it so much. Great views, delicious meal and the cheery on was watching seagulls enjoying their meals it was so entertaining for our kiddos . Our hostesses were also fantastic and very nice and so chill. If you want to visit make sure you validate your parking ticket you get a better price on parking if you dine with them. If not you will be paying more.
Paradise Cove is our go to Sunday beach brunch. We went last March 28th, and the tables were clean, plenty of staff, service was excellent, and food was good. It's a beach cafe, not a Vegas steakhouse, so set your expectations. We like to go early before the crowds, 1130am gets us easy parking, seated immediately, and for the lunch menu (clam chowder) We love sitting outside and grabbing a drink before noon. Paradise cove is the only place this feels right. Best bites: Clam chowder is a must. It's got a rich flavor, no potatoes, and plenty of clams. Cold seafood tower, pretty standard but done well Nachos and calamari are hits Drinks and view are awesome!
The short answer is that Paradise Cove Beach Cafe is a minor tourist trap that is only really somewhat redeemable if you are going to the beach and/or making a day of it and need somewhere to both eat and park. First off, the negative: the parking is absolutely insane and always raising throughout the years, so if you're coming here for the beach and just the beach (no food/ drinks), then this is absolutely not worth it. If you don't mind paying an arm and a leg for good food and not the greatest service, then they can validate your parking for you, making it a better deal; not free, but lower than before. Their menu is kind of confusing because one side is dedicated to family sized meals, but the other size doesn't have everything on the menu that they truly serve. When I came here last weekend with my family, the blonde waitress that was taking care of us didn't give us a kids menu for my sister when seating us. When she came by again after we got seated, I asked her for one and motioned towards my sister. She asked, "Who at the table here is a kid?" in a serious tone and had a slight attitude. I just calmly said, "My sister," and motioned again, like before, towards her. She asked, "Well how old is she?" "11.....," I said. And she rolled her eyes and walked away. After five minutes, she came back with a kid's menu, although I never really knew what the full issue was. I understand that they don't want adults ordering off of the kid's menu in order to make more money on the adult meals, even though they can be too big for some people depending on what you get. However, a kid that maybe looks a couple years older wasn't as big of a deal as she made it out to be, rolling her eyes to a whole family. When we got our food, which was around 25 minutes after we ordered, a lot of the dishes my family and I ordered came in big portions and could be saved for dinner or another meal. I had also ordered a frozen margarita prior, but was disappointed when I got it and it wasn't frozen, but a very, very melted down version. It tasted good and wasn't too strong, though. All in all, I'd maybe recommend if you've never been before just to go once to check out the space, food, ambiance, and views that they're really known for. It's truly gorgeous since they're located right on the beach, and it's an amazing location. However, the customer service and prices make this restaurant not an occurring place that we go to. read more

Definitely a tourist trap don't go hereeee My server was super nice to other guests smiling and joking but was very nonchalant with me. I didn't even ask for the check yet and he brought out the electronic pad to have me pay. There was a curly hair on my wing and he tried to tell me it was chicken hair like as if I don't know what chicken hair looks like. It ended up being a total of $43 for the a small cup of clam chowder and one margarita. I just realized that when I pressed the 18% automatic tip, the total was $55 ... you do the math, they added on an extra $5. Plus you have to pay $10 for parking. I feel so ripped off and cheated DONT GO HERE Also the birds will eat off you plate and table and they don't do anything :) read more

The vibes in this place are absolutely immaculate. The view from a table outside is incredible. We were able to get seated outside, we made a reservation prior to going which i would recommend. Our server was friendly and very accommodating. The food was okay, the portions were huge. The burger I ordered was messy, so be prepared to wash your hands after. I would come here again to try seafood rather than American food. read more
The aura is unmatched. A vacation vibe without having to leave LA. Perfect for families . The food however was a bit mediocre. For the price and Malibu beach front the food was lacking in flavor. I've been here many times in past decade but today the food was a bit of a letdown. The Oreo ball dessert was the best thing we ate today. Service was slow, I was trying to be patient pretending I was on island time but things like water refills and sauces were coming out way later than I would have liked. The best part about dining here is access to the private beach. You get 4 hours of validation if you dine there and the kids had a blast digging for hermit crabs. read more
Came at around noon and we were able to still get parking by the cafe. Wanted to sit outside as weather was perfect but it would be 1.5 hours wait so we decided to eat inside. Took about 20mins. Ordered calamari, their best seller. Also the beef ribs with saffron rice these are our faves here. There are chairs outside overlooking the beach and we sat there after we ate. Beach parking on weekday is $45 and $65 on weekday. If u eat at the cafe and get it validated it goes down to $10 on weekday and $15 on weekend. read more

Had an amazing day at Paradise Cove! I've been driving past this place for years, and today was finally the day to stop in--on our 10-year wedding anniversary. The drinks were fantastic, and we had one of the best desserts we've ever had! The service was excellent, the atmosphere was authentic and relaxing, and the whole experience made our anniversary even more special. We'll definitely be back. Thanks for a memorable day! read more

This restaurant has an awesome location: beachfront and next to the pier. Super spacious with plenty of seating in & outdoor, on only sand. Parking can be validated inside the restaurant: $10. Service was QUICK. Received our order within 5min of placing it. Ordered: -Chilaquiles: This was a huge plate. 4/5 because the dish felt a little plain. It also comes with your choice of bread: bagel, English muffin, wtc -Piña Colada Mocktail: This was a straight 5/5. Sooooo Good!!!!!! -Damn Good Eggs: -Well......it had more than just eggs. My friend said the sausage was super good. And I stole some of her potatoes . 4/5 read more

Today we took my parents for my dad's 75th birthday to one of our favorite places in Malibu. I grew up going there my whole life and it was a low key restaurant on a private beach that we had the freshest food and most beautiful ocean view while we enjoyed it. Going back today, it was overpriced, over crowded and disgusting. 1. We had a reservation for 12:30 and didn't get seated until 1:10. 2. We couldn't park in the parking lot in front of the restaurant we had to park on PCH and we had to walk up and hill and down a hill with beach chairs, umbrellas and all our beach stuff sweating for 20 min. 3. We didn't get served until 1:40 and we were very patient. 4. They got our orders wrong (happens) but when they brought my kids hotdog it had a BLACK HAIR WRAPPED AROUND IT!! The guy who put the plate down saw it took it away and didn't even say sorry or look shocked, we were all mortified. If we hadn't been people who knew this restaurant for years before this incident, that would have been a "check please" run for your life situation. 5. The drinks were watered down and tasted syrupy and full of sugar. The fries were good but the $30 calamari appetizer was like eating tires that blew off the road on PCH covered in flavorless flour. 6. My parents got the poke bowls which were old chewy brownish ahi, brown stale rice, a drop of sauce, one chunk of avacado to spread around the inedible tower, cucumbers (5). Now... things like this happen. I have been to hundreds of restaurants in my life and never share the experience if it's bad because every restaurant and every person has off days. My mom was a single parent and raised me by being a waitress and we have the utmost patience and respect for that industry. I think in my entire life I've seen my parents MAYBE take 3 things back that were inedible and today was one of those days. It was just that...inedible. Maybe because we were treating them for my dad's birthday they felt worse for us because they knew it was a lot and they wouldn't be eating it? But geez. So after the hair incident the waiter did come over and say sorry but that was it. Ok. Then the ahi was inedible and my mom asked for dressing and even after it was swimming more than anyone on the rocky beach in front of us, the sauce was spicy and totally changed the flavor and wasn't going to be redeemed. Mind you, we had said nothing other than Silently to the bus boy about the hot dog hair and when the waiter scame over finally we told him when he inquired about it. So the ahi was the first thing brought to the waiters attention from us.. not like we were complaining since the moment we sat down and causing any sort of issue before to make him stressed lol. All we said was the hot dog had a hair, they gave my daughter the wrong order (in the same breath not for any other reason but the fact we were served it by a busboy who didn't speak English and wasn't the waiter so he isn't in charge or know the situation and before he dropped the food off we had a waitress covering for our waiter so it was more so catching him up on the situation. So all he dealt with was that the ahi just wasn't what we thought and he said "I'm getting my manager one second". Ok.. And we waited for about 6 min and that's why I am here right now writing this. For no other reason than this. The manager came over and he was pissed from the get go. The first thing he said "the waiter is all frustrated so what's the issue". In our heads we were like huh? Frustrated? He got here after his lunch and had barely even seen us let alone dealt with us and that's what he says out the gate? Ya.. so anyway, he said what's wrong with it? We explained it was dry, missing avacado, didn't list brown rice etc and he said "ok, what else do you want?". We said, we don't want anything, we just didn't care for this and the calamari is just tough. He said "pfft ok, we sell 400 of these a day but ok sure it's tough sure." Walked off and said "JESUS CHRIST". Now...my kids said mom? Why did he say Jesus' name like that so angry? We said some people use Gods name in vein but we don't so don't ever do that ok? WHAT?! You're talking to paying customers that dealt with a hair wrapped hot dog sir. lol. Never complained about it and you're over here being a jerk. This was unacceptable and totally crossed the line. Things happen.. Accidents happen.. Food isn't always perfect. fish is unpredictable but the attitude was so over the top disgusting that we will never be back and it pains me to say that. I have never been so sad about a memory changing so much for me and to bring my kids to this and talk it up only to have this as an experience was horrible. I am embarrassed I talked it up so much to my kids and let them down so badly. read more

There's a reason I'm leaving five stars for Paradise Cove Beach Café in Malibu. It's not just about the food--though that's good--it's the location, the history, and the pure, stunning vibe. As you enter, the bar area greets you with a fantastic atmosphere, no matter the time--morning, afternoon, or evening. If you're heading here, definitely make a reservation and sit outside--the experience of being right on the sand, barefoot, with the waves right there, adds so much magic to the evening. his place is pure magic--a vibrant, unforgettable escape that will make you fall in love with Malibu all over again. read more

The only reason I'm giving 2 stars is because of the location. The service was disappointing--our server only came to our table twice (to take our drink and food orders) and never checked on us again. Our food also took about 45 minutes to come out. We were a party of two but were seated at a table for eight. When we asked to switch to a smaller table, we were told there weren't any available, yet we watched other guests get moved to the tables they requested. Also, if the parking lot is full, be prepared to park along the highway and walk quite a distance to the restaurant, and the walk back to your car is even worse. Overall, not an experience I'd return for. read more

This is our second time here in two months and we came back not only for the food, atmosphere but for the incredibly accommodating service by Erin. She was not only kind AND funny on our first visit but we're lucky enough to have randomly had her as our sever the second time. We frequent places with great food and atmosphere often, however we repeat places that choose their staff based off great energy, poise and ability. I went on a weekday and had a really good experience overall! The food was amazing, especially the chocolate cake definitely one of my favorite things we ordered. I also thought it was such a cool touch that their straws are made out of pasta! The only downside was that the service was a bit on the slower end and could have been a little more attentive. Other than that, the food was great and I really enjoyed everything! read more

The food is overpriced! $49 for a swordfish fillet and a cup of mashed potatoes. Crazy! The beach is a nice clean little beach with a lifeguard. Our server was nice. Parking is $15 on the weekend and $10 on weekdays, if you get it validated at the restaurant. read more
We went here for lunch a drive up the coast. Had gorgeous views, but absolutely horrible service. After being seated it took over 10 minutes for a server to come take our drink order. We had questions about the menu, and were given attitude when asking. After we ordered I needed to ask for something. The server didn't notice me and the manager had to get her attention for me. She seemed irritated and startled. After we got our food we were trying to get anyone's attention for over 10 minutes. No one noticed us. The manager and 2 other employees were standing right near our table and my friend and I kept staring at them trying to get attention and nothing. When we finally got someone's attention we let them know our child didn't like their food and it was too spicy. The server again gave a ton of attitude and went to get the manager. (Who was standing near by) the two of them walked away for a few minutes then the manager came back and argued with me when I brought up the lack of service and not being noticed. And I didn't even talk about the food. We ordered the $30 calamari dish. It was really greasy and hurt our stomachs. I will never go back here. read more

Today we went on a tour of all of reza favorite spots. My best friend passed away and this is his funeral weekend. He was a public finger with a huge following. So there's about five different celebration of life parties which he completely Deserves. Paradise Cove was a place we've spent endless summer days. We had a whole day planned we just stopped to get to start the day off, right. I am sober so I got one coconut drink. It was the perfect thing to get. Best beachfront vibes in Malibu! Sitting right on the sand with the outdoor seating, watching the waves crash, was incredibly relaxing. The Clam Chowder in a Bread Bowl is a must-order--so rich, creamy, and served piping hot. We also loved the Fried Calamari and Fries, which were perfectly crispy and great for sharing. It is the perfect spot to escape the city and grab lunch right by the ocean. Highly recommend! read more

Found this place as we were heading home from our hike. We had no reservation, but we were greeted and seated by a very friendly older Gentleman. Clean location. Portions are huge to were you can share with someone else. Coffe was good and a cannoli and fresh whipped cream is given on the side. Eggs were perfect, sauce has a kick, but nothing major. Love that it's right by the beach such a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the view. Calamari wasn't my favorite, but everything else hit the spot. Portions are huge, definitely worth sharing! Great place for beach vibes and comfort food. read more

No they only serve regular fries

Yes you can purchase a gift card - go to the gifts / shop section and scroll down - the option for gift card is at the bottom .
Is the outdoor dining pet friendly?
Yes. We brought our two dogs. We did have to stop them from digging though. Haha. They had a blast!
How much does the Gigantic Iced Seafood Tower cost? Or what's the price range.
Could not find a price on the website but i would guess around $75.

Yes! Depends on the size. In tower, it's just a portion.

Yes, they do! But make sure you ask them to or else parking prices are nuts otherwise!

No you can't bring your dog. An employee at the location was very rude as he pointed to the sign, "Cant you read?"
Can you drink on the beach without a chaise reservation?
Yes. Did it for my B-day last year.

I would for surely have one. If on the weekend there is always a long wait.

I would say between $12-15 dollars.
When does breakfast end?
11am, and they're pretty on the dot about it so definitely get there much earlier if you want to order from the breakfast menu.
