Malibu Farm is such a cute spot right on the coast. Definitely try to sit outside if you can, the views and weather make the whole experience. It wasn't too busy when we went and the line moved pretty fast. We ordered the vegan chopped salad and the chorizo burrito. Both were good, but the salad was our favorite. Soooo disappointing. Came here to bring a friend who's visiting from out of town. The pier view was so beautiful I thought this place couldn't be bad. I was wrong. Food was so bland and no flavor and r seasoning. Services was bad and slow. Parking was $15 too. Bathrooms were dirty, floor all wet, not sure what's water or pee AND then there's a bleach toilet spray bottle just left out but the toilet to see. For the prices I expect MUCHHHHH better. Location/Parking: Located right off the water, Malibu Farm is in a very good location. You can try to find street parking or just pay the fee to park in the lot. The view of the ocean is nice, the breeze is cooling, and there's no yucky fishy smell you might think you'd smell at the pier. Service: the servers were great, but the girl who checked us in wasn't very friendly. My boyfriend and I got there and she told us to wait for a table to open up then she would seat us; however, we looked and saw multiple tables open and she even sat another party who came after us. We had to ask another server if we could be seated and they seated us shortly after. Vibes: you sit pretty close to other parties and there are a lot of tables in the area. Volume level is fairly loud because of all the people, but it's not an overwhelming loud. Gets busy around brunch/lunch time. On the cuff of being a nicer place to eat in terms of vibes, but because it is near the beach it does feel more chill. Food: I had the build your own fish taco and the Swedish mini pancakes. For the price that I paid, neither was worth it. The fish was kind of dry and flavorless and the best thing about that dish were the veggies. The mini pancakes got mushy quick, so these definitely should be eaten sooner rather than later. Malibu isn't always the easiest or quickest place to get to, but going to Malibu Farm is always worth the drive. The restaurant sits right at the start of the pier and overlooks the ocean--such a beautiful setting. The ambience is fantastic, and on a hot day, there's nothing better than heading to the coast to cool off. The food is unbelievably fresh, vibrant, and delicious, with generous portions. They also serve great drinks, and I highly recommend the oysters. The service was excellent and quick. We ended up dining inside by the bar to avoid the wait--and that's where my only criticism comes in. I wish they accepted reservations before 4 PM. It takes a while to get there, and there's nothing worse than standing in line for a table after making the drive. That said, I'm definitely looking forward to my next meal on the pier. Enjoyed a nice breakfast by the water on a weekday here. You can find parking on the street or for your convenience there is paid parking right next to it ($15 for us a on a weekday, probably more on weekends). The place is very cute and will maintained and I love the added touch of fresh flowers on every table. They are dog friendly and we were able to dine inside with our pup. Our servers were very nice and answered all of our questions, they even gave my pup a treat. The food was delicious! Everything had good flavor. You can buy souvenirs at their restaurant too. First they make you wait for an hour while the restaurant is occupied 65%. They made us sit with 8 on a table for 6 - while the big table for 10 remained empty throughout or entire stay. Then, I got my meal 15 minutes after all others finished their meals. Then, after I finished my meal, we got the first coffee - and hour after we sat down. Very good food with beautiful views! We sat on the pier overlooking the ocean. They had lots of healthy, yummy looking food options as well as mimosas. Just be prepared to wait in a long line if you come at a mealtime. Also go to the bathroom before you come cause they have some of the only bathrooms on the whole pier. read more

That said, the experience here was night and day from Marina del Rey. Beautiful atmosphere on the water and a low key chill vibe. No wait, we were seated right away. The menu was small but they specialize in farm to table. My group shared the Greek salad, the blue potatoe salad ( special for 4th of July) and the nachos. The presentation of the Greek salad was amazing and so were the ingredients. It included watermelon which I raised an eyebrow at but no, it all worked. Same with the potato salad. On our last visit, my husband got the breakfast burrito, I had the fried egg sandwich and we got our daughter the swedish mini pancakes. All were delicious. Fabulous Mothers Day dinner on Saturday prior to Mothers Day on Sunday. My Sweet heart mistakenly left her beautiful long sweater after leaving Saturday Night. It was my first time here and I ordered Saurfera Ranchero. I must say it is THE BEST!!! I also loved the service here, the staff are friendly and they are quick. I was also able to speak with one of the hispanic lady cleaning the tables during my visit and she was the sweetest making sure I enjoyed my food and that I am enjoying the view since I was seated outside. The ambience was just breathtaking. Having brunch with an ocean view in a nice sunny perfect weather was just amazing and relaxing. The inside of the restaurant was cute too, had tables next to windows with view of the ocean but nothinb can beat the outside seating during a perfect Cali weather...I even went for a walk at the pier and took pictures after eating. My friend and I went to Malibu Pier for the first time today (after living here for four years, I know, I'm terrible) and discovered this little gem! Better late than never, right?! A line was building around Noon on a Saturday so heed caution and know you'll wait a little. It's so gorgeous though...waiting feels like bliss. You won't mind at all. We were kindly greeted and helped in taking our order. We were handed a number, then headed outside. They have both indoor and outdoor seating which was nice to have options. I love nothing more than an ocean breeze so we grabbed a cute table with a view overlooking the surfers doing their thing and beautiful light waves crashing into the Malibu coast. Items were brought out one by one as prepared, my personal favorite method. I was going to get a cold brew but I saw an entrancing Ube mocktail pic advertised while in line, that lived up to the photographic hype once I received it. My $17 Panini was so darn delicious, I absolutely loved it! It came with bacon, corn, and gruyere cheese on country white pressed bread. Best eaten while still hot & fresh, ofc. Nomz for days! I was craving a sandwich while in Malibu and this place pop up after a quick search on Yelp. We wanted an outdoor lunch overlooking the Malibu beach so this was perfect. We made a small line and ordered at the counter then picked a table by the sun to sit at outside. It was a little chilly but we were fine once the sun hit. I ordered the chicken bacon ricotta burger which came with a side of broccoli smashed potatoes. It tasted amazing and it was huge in size! My boyfriend ordered the grilled salmon sandwich which I also got to try. It was a little messy to eat but had so much flavor. The salmon sandwich came with a side of rice and quinoa which wasn't bad but nothing special. Located at the very end of the Malibu Pier, the location is hard to beat and the food is honestly a great accompaniment to the scenery. We were able to sit right outside on the pier and watched all the surfers during our brunch. You order at the counter, take a number, and then they bring everything out to you. They also have outdoor roof seating but we were able to find a table on the first level. Parking can be a bit tricky, especially if you are searching for a spot on the street, but we parked in the parking lot associated with the pier for $15. Everything we ordered came out really quickly and the portion sizes were very fair. We started with a Honey Iced Latte and it was actually very good. It really had a nice smooth flavor. Being our first time we wanted to order a few items so we chose the Swedish Mini Pancakes, the Egg Sandwich, and the Surfers Rancheros. All of them were honestly very good. The Egg Sandwich was really light and packed with flavor, the egg was cooked perfectly and oozed out of every bite. The Swedish Pancakes were fairly good, I am just not a big fan of Swedish food. I really want to be, but I just don't tend to like their sweets, bakery, or breakfast items. They're very small pancakes, the size of a silver dollar, but not as good as a Dutch Baby in my opinion. Lastly, the Scramble was honestly great and it was a very large sized portion. The eggs were cooked perfectly and the sauce on top was really good. Overall, we had a great brunch and really enjoyed the location, this is the sort of place you would want to sit for a bit especially on a nice day. Lovely little upscale cafe at the end of the pier, recommended by Goop in their Malibu guide. It's beach boho chic with a creative, quality menu - the perfect place for a summer lunch. I had a lobster roll and a kale apple mimosa - the roll was stuffed full of lobster meat, seasoned well with fresh dill and mayo, crunchy with red peppers and celery. It was accompanied by avocado, roasted fingerling potatoes, and an arugula salad. The kale apple juice with the mimosa had a tart and interesting flavour. My boyfriend had the skirt steak plate. The meat was perfection, and he enjoyed the quinoa and roasted vegetable sides. He also had a refreshing mojito. You order at a counter, then sit inside, outside, or upstairs, and your items are brought to you. The service is friendly and efficient. Parking is tricky around lunchtime - there's street parking and a lot right next to the pier, but it's a busy area. There are two public parking lot on the opposite side of the PCH a ways down from the pier area - just look for the signs. read more

The food experience was different but incredibly tasty. We had the carpet mozzarella tomato quesadilla, this thing was big, and the flavor was unbelievable. And the stop light tacos trio. Who would have thought of a butternut squash, spaghetti squash taco!? This thing was good. The menu is not a typical restaurant menu I would go to, so I love that we tried different things.
