I love the Lime and it's good every time I go! I finally decided to mobile order for pickup and it was a great experience! It was easy to use and it was ready the time I got there! I ordered the award winning fried mahi taco for the first time and it was amazing! It had a great spice but tons of flavor from the fried mahi and the coleslaw cabbage to complement it well. I also love the traditional beef to go with it. The chips are seasoned perfectly and it goes great with all the different salsas at the salsa bar! Was having a really bad week and came in here for lunch. The food was great but the service was even better. Ernest made sure we all had exactly what we needed and even helped me order. I wasn't able to have my tacos and frozen margarita on Cinco de Mayo because of the rain, so I'm here to make up for it. The Plantation location was large with plenty of indoor/outdoor seating. I was greeted by a friendly employee who took my order of a taco combo consisting of chicken, shrimp, and bbq pork. The tacos were neatly presented on a tray with freshly fried chips. Here's my thought on the food: * Chicken taco was good. Had it a few times before so I knew what to expect in terms of flavor. Tender pieces with shredded lettuce and cheese, pico de Gallo, cilantro and lime crema. * First time having the shrimp and bbq pork taco, and they were both delicious. The shrimp was sauteed with shredded cabbage, roasted corn, red onions, cilantro, lime crema, and cotija cheese. The bbq pork, which I enjoyed the most, was bursting with tasty flavors. Pieces of tender pork with shredded cabbage, pickled red onion, cilantro, and guava bbq sauce. I had a bit of room for dessert so I ordered their churro bites which was a nice ending to an enjoyable meal, and with three fountain drink refills my stomach has reached its full capacity. Absolutely the best variety of fresh salsa with a new self serve concept, which was a great decision. We ordered the bowl of tortilla chips ($5.75) which were crispy. Scooped different salsa flavors into our dipping bowl. The spicy Verde and the sweet Corn-Bean were my favorites, but the scariest one was easily the Pineapple Habanero which brought instant tears to my eyes - the heat of the Habanero over powered the sweetness of the pineapple. These crunchy eats filled us up as we prepared for dessert next door. BATHROOM: Clean with a cactus hanging on the wall which promoted a tex-mex vibe. If it were just for the food alone, it would have all five stars however they messed up our order several times and made us wait but honestly, the taste of the food made up for it. We left happy. The empanadas were fire! Make sure you get double servings of the avocado--ranch dipping sauce. And definitely try out the different kinds of hot sauces!! read more

Perfect place for fresh Mexican food. If you like tacos, fajitas, burritos and salads, this is the place for you. The prices are reasonable. Love the varieties of salsa at the take your own salsa bar. The chicken fajitas that I ordered were delicious and included chicken, peppers and onions with all of the fajita toppings. Quick order and the service is fast. Many seats available at the indoor and outdoor seating areas. This restaurant is located in a great area of Plantation that is in a very walkable plaza. This place is absolutely disgusting and a rip off for the price. We got the porkito - first it had no flavor at all which I was shocked because slow roasted pork should be flavorful. Beans and Rice had zero flavor. And the burrito came soggy Cane Asada Quesadilla - literally had two tiny pieces of "steak" that were so well done and nasty. Again soggy and no flavor Maybe because I'm from California, but this is basically an expensive Taco Bell.... Actually Taco Bell at least has more flavor. read more

We also tried the smoked pork empanadas which I believe are a collab with 4Rivers and they were great! This past Saturday we went to Lime Fresh in Plantation. It was our first experience there. Ordering the food was efficient and came to our table quick and steaming hot. It was delicious. The best part of our experience was customer service. We got to meet Ernest who took excellent care of us and made sure we had everything we needed and things we didn't even know we needed. He introduced us to a secret sauce that made our meals even more delish. After talking with him a little bit found just another example of how its a small world. He and I were both born in the same hospital in SC. He is an excellent representative of your restaurant and his customer service is outstanding. Is a low key fast food type of environment. The extra benefit is that they have Margaritas and Sangria. Service was good. It wasn't super busy because I went during the week. The patio seating area was full of people. I got a bowl and a Margarita. It's a frozen premade drink but I thought it was really good. I could tell that it had liquor in it. I got a steak bowl, and you have your chose of sauces to add to it. The sauces are on the bar so you can take as much as you want. I always go with extra pica de gallo and the green sauce. The bowl is well seasoned and flavorful full. The steak wasn't over cooked. Overall, it was a good meal. read more

Hello I have been coming to The Lime for years now since the one in the gardens @ Pembroke Pines. And me and my mom stopped by here to eat since it is one of our favorites. And the food was perfect exactly how we remembered, if not better with their Georgia peaches sauce that they have which I somehow have never tried! The service was just about as good as the food if not better, the food came pretty fast, and they truly make you feel like at home with the service. Earnest, Tiffany made our day here way better, not that my day was going bad but they for sure brightened up the day, they lift people up, and really are a pleasure to be around!
