Went here with a group of friends for my birthday last Friday night. I have been to other escape rooms but this was my first time at Limitless. The experience was awesome and the staff was friendly. Adrian helped us out and he was great at explaining things. What i liked about this one is that they offered clues on the TV monitor if you asked for them... other places either dont give help or you are limited to one or two clues. I highly recommend this place. It is a fun group activity. read more

I came here with a group of co-workers for a team building exercise and it was a lot of fun. Our host was friendly and helpful and there were games to play with as you waited for your turn in the escape room. We did the Sherlock Holmes room and it was a lot of fun! This was my first time to try one of these escape rooms so I don't have anything to compare it with but the game was well thought out and definitely kept us busy. My coworkers, manager, and I went here and did the Bank Heist. We had a blast! We definitely didn't beat the timer, but I think because we really do well as a team, we got pretty far and no one was grumbling by the the end of it! The bank heist becomes more and more challenging as you go, and because I don't want to spoil anything, I'll just say that you definitely need everyone on your team to split up and work on tackling everything they can. There are a LOT of puzzles to get through; it will take the whole hour you are given, if not longer. Jon, who works there, is super! He definitely made the activity even more fun, and when our team didn't beat the clock he offered to go through the remaining puzzles to satisfy our curiosity. I definitely think they used the right amount of tech for the activity too; while still making sure it was very hands on. I definitely want to come here again with a group of friends and see if we can crack one of the other rooms! read more

We did the pirate room and had Nathan as our assigned staff person. Nathan was very attentive, and jumped right in when a few of the puzzles weren't working right. We did the Sherlock Holmes room which is definitely the hardest room we've ever done but so much fun! Patrick was our game master, he explained everything really well and was quick responding to clue requests. We had some difficulty with a couple of locks because the lighting is dim and the numbers or letters are very small which made them hard to read. Some locks are stiff which makes it hard to turn to get the correct combination. All in all, we had a great time and look forward to new rooms being added. read more

We got put with a group of 6 people (making it 10 total) that were extremely pushy. The room was good and the clues challenged you mentally. The staff was friendly and the theme was good, but could have been better or really just have less people. 10 was too many, both for the room size and for the amount of clues in the room. Especially when mixing groups of strangers and as the room progressed. This would be best done with a group that you organize and that you are familiar with. read more

Great staff and great rooms (we have done the heist and pirates). Its also suitable for children. Thr puzzles are pretty clever and its challenging enough to make you think but not too crazy where u need clues. I highly recommend anyone in the Trivalley to experience it. An hour of fun! I went here twice and did the Bank Heist and the Haunting of Baker St for the Halloween event. The staff is helpful and explained things very well. The set up of the rooms were great. The decorations and staging definitely added to the experience and so far the Sherlock Holmes room is my favorite. I love everything about the clues, the environment and puzzles. I came here with a group (private party of 10) for the Bank Heist and just me and my brother for a public room (with another party of 5). This place is great for large groups and small ones. The price for the private room is kind of pricey but great for some team building. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone. Sherlock room for sure. I liked the Bank Heist but didn't like the lock out time penalty. It was a time waster for my group. Overall, a great place for adults and kids. Last thing, 6-8 people is generally a good group. I feel like 10 people in a room can be too much. read more

My group escaped all 3 rooms this past Saturday, and the production value and puzzle quality for these rooms are top notch. We had a blast and agreed these rooms are definitely one of the best that we have done, in comparison to 15 others that we have done in the Bay Area. One of the coolest things about Limitless that I have not seen elsewhere is their use of a point system and leaderboards. For example, escaping, escaping under 50 minutes and using less than 5 hints will each net you 10 points, 20 points, and 5 points, respectively. You can then look at the leaderboards on their website and see how your group compared to other groups for your escapes. Favorite to least favorite: Sherlock Holmes, Bank Heist, Pirate Adventure, although you cannot go wrong with any of the rooms. I think the ideal group size would be 5-6, as the rooms are not that big, and there are not enough puzzles to adequately support 6+ players at any one time. I highly recommend Limitless Escape! read more

What a terrific experience. Totally blew us away! The details in the rooms and special effects were exciting and impressive. The puzzles were clever and challenging, but not impossible to solve with our combined efforts. We solved the "Kraken" adventure with little time to spare. The time limit added enjoyable tension and excitement. We DID need a clues, but only one of the 3 allowed! This was a blast and a very different way to have fun. We were running late so they said they'd accommodate us and give us another room at a later time. We rushed to get there and when we got here they said they double booked the room. She asked to see our confirmation email, which we did not have because someone made The reservation for us as a gift. She left us in the lobby for 10 minutes with no communication. She then came out and said "sorry, we will refund your money...do you have any questions?" The whole experience was horrible...the customer service was unprofessional and down right rude. My kids were SO excited to have the employee be so heartless was just cold. read more

Cannot begin to describe how much fun and satisfaction you get from this. I reserved the Bank Heist room for my wife and I for her birthday and we had Zack as our game master. He was the best and had so much enthusiasm for us and came out so happy when we made it out. He offered 4 tips and knew exactly what to say to lead us in the right direction. We finished with just 2:45 left and were scrambling the entire time. The puzzles are really well made, difficult, and make so much sense. You never feel completely lost or helpless with the puzzles, it just wracks your brain trying to figure them out and is such a great feeling when you do. I feel like me and my wife are going to relive the experience until we go again. read more

This review is mostly about the escape room but I won't reveal anything that you couldn't find out from escape room's youtube trailer. Went here with some friends to do the bank heist escape room (6 of us total). No other people were there so we just had the room to ourselves. The room started off with a pretty good pace; things were rolling and we were getting clues really quick. Then we hit a wall (as escape rooms naturally provide). We asked for a couple of hints to keep the pace going. The hints were ambiguous but good enough to push us forward. Suddenly we hit a huge breakthrough and we open the vault. We solve a few puzzles and it felt like we had completed the room. Except the time was still going; we had a few things that were still unsolved. By now we're getting down to the final 5 minutes. We hit another clue wall. We want to finish the puzzle but we just need another hint boost. We ask for more hints but it felt like we were getting the same hints but in different sentence variations. We're just standing there thinking about what these hints mean because they weren't good hints. The last thing that was stopping us was the lock itself. It was not the same lock design as the other locks used in the escape room. We could not figure out how to unhinge the lock even though we had the combination correct. 1 minute left... 30 seconds left...15... 5... Time is out. The staff person comes in and tells us how we were so close. She walked us through the final steps of the puzzle. We obviously missed some pieces but we were able to bypass those clues and solved the puzzles without them. The final clues didn't make sense to the totality of the room and just feel like they were tacked on to make the escape room duration longer. I like the venue and will probably come back. I think this particular escape room's design was confusing (not talking about the complexity of the clues or puzzles) and some of the critical equipment needs new batteries or be replaced all together. This room has one of the highest success rates so take this review with a grain of salt. read more

I've done multiple escape rooms in the Bay Area and one of the comments I heard while arriving at Limitless was, 'This place is actually in a building, not an office space'. First thoughts when walking in was that this place was very well run, furnished, decorated, so we had high hopes of the room itself. The staff on site was still very enthusiastic even though we did the 10PM room when giving the overview and going over the rules. I think the game masters definitely make or break the game, completely independent on the room itself. We did the Pirates room and we can't wait to do the other two rooms as well. The room was very well decorated and I felt fully immersed in the environment. The music, props, automation, and puzzles were all really well thought out. Had a really wonderful time with my friends at the Sherlock themed room! This was my first ever escape room, and I'm so glad I tried it, especially at this location! The puzzles were challenging and mind-stimulating. It wasn't easy, at all! They have a good system when it comes to giving us clues or hints, they really help and I don't think anyone could get out without any hints! My mind was blown with the kind of puzzles they had in the room, I've never done anything like this before! Definitely awesome for people like me who love puzzles and for people looking to try something different with friends. The service was excellent. Everything was explained well without giving too much information away. We were SO close to finishing, so it was frustrating. In the end, it was still definitely worth it! I've done several escape rooms, and this was absolutely one of the best I've ever done! My friends and I went to check it out and we tried the Sherlock, and Pirates game, and i was really impressed with the lighting and art design to begin with, and from there, the puzzles were really well thought out and challenging. The staff were very friendly and hospitable, and they really added to the overall experience. Overall, the whole place is set up in a really modern way, and made for a really great customer service experience. Super fun! And I hear they're opening up another location in Stockton! read more

This was a gift for my birthday and I was blown away at how much fun we had. Julia was great help and gave us hints when we asked for them, just the right amount of help to keep it fun and not frustrating. We played "The Bank Heist" and had to 'rescue' a giant diamond. Came here with a group of 5 and it was a super fun experience for our first escape game! Shout out to my friend Nikki for organizing! We did the Sherlock room and it was challenging! For the first 15-20 minutes we didn't accomplish much but after receiving the first hint, we were able to pick things up and get the momentum going. I would agree with the other reviews that this room has unique, interesting puzzles. The staff was organized and helpful in explaining what was going on. The only caveat is that if you don't book the whole room, you might be in the same room as another group. It worked out in our case but next time we'd want to try getting the entire room to ourselves. 10 people in 1 room gets crowded. Looking forward to coming back for the Bank Heist or Pirates rooms! Hopefully we'll use a coupon because $30/person is kind of pricey. read more
