    Tricolor ceviche
    Craig R.

Awesome fresh flavor packed ceviche. All three had there own taste profiles. The yellow pepper had a subtle sweet creaminess with a slight citrus bite. The original had a tart bite with crunch from the red onions. The red one had a little more of a spicy taste. All where made with fish which was done to perfection but I think one of the 3 should have been shrimp. My gf really liked her Lomo Saltido the steak was tender cooked perfectly with peppers and onions. And the French fries were fresh and crispy. A great place with a great vibe.

I Uber Eats my meal. It was still hot when I received it and was fantastic! The Tacu Tacu was delicious and the meat was tender, savory and amazing. The mango cheesecake was delightful and truly great! I would love to visit the restaurant next time I'm in town.

She was such a sweet lady towards us. Had us smiling and laughing often throughout the night. She proved us with any answers we needed. We decided to go with the Combo #1. We loved the fact that you can substitute. Neither of us like clams, so we substituted it for 1/2 lb of snow crab legs. We added eggs, broccoli and corn (You can choose 3 sides). Everything came out nice and hot. One thing that we found different with the boil is that the sauce look like gravy. We mentioned that to Si and she stated that it is like that sov it is thick enough to stick to the food items. Honestly, it was flavorful...weird, but flavorful lol. We enjoyed everything about our experience. Thank you Sarah and Si.

The food is so good , it's like going to my aunties house for dinner. We ordered the shrimp Alfredo, party pack of eggrolls , 12 wings and I had to have cheesecake. What is so funny is the cook in the back was like " damn I remember you when you came with the football player dude and yall was a vibe , your hair is unforgettable " It's so funny but was a nice compliment since we are not locals. My friend who lives down here said they will have to come back weekly now. We left stuffed and with left overs! 10/10!

Steak & Cheese Egg Rolls were addictive. They tasted like a Philly Cheesesteak but in an Egg Rolls. Krab & Shrimp Egg Rolls were really good. The Salmon and Pasta was really good the day we ordered it and the next day for leftovers. We took the Chicken & Shrimp fried rice home to eat later. Everything was made fresh to order. We enjoyed sitting down and vibing to the music. It took less than 10 minutes to get our food. We did order a lot of things to just try out. I can't wait to come back to order some more.

Captain Jim's has the freshest seafood in North Miami…read more We often dine in, but occasionally we've also taken fish or lobsters to grill when tailgating etc., and it's always way better and fresher than what we would have picked up anywhere else. Choosing which lobster or yellowtail from the ice counter you want them to prepare, and how you want it prepared, is a fun part of the dining experience for us. Occasionally they have hog snapper or another fresh catch available. The fried lobster tail was fantastically seasoned with a little kick, and I've never had it prepared this way, chopped up into bite-sized pieces. Very filling and we could have shared one, but we still managed to devour both tails and left very full and satisfied. Each tail, including one side, was about $40 - but market price items vary based on size and weight of what's available that day. There are also plenty of less expensive options on the menu. One of my favorites is the yellowtail sandwich. And if you get there before 7:00pm you can order some oysters and lobster croquettes from the happy hour menu. Captain Jim's is a casual and comfortable restaurant with marine decor where the food is the star. Service is always friendly, helpful, and attentive.

They have a big patio; several TV's playing sports and misters when it's hot. It was a gorgeous breezy day today. We totally could have split one meal- HUGE portions and unfortunately; couldn't eat it all. It was very tasty however; the Cole slaw was lite and the fries were excellent. I felt bad we left so much- we couldn't take it with us since we were headed to the airport. Anyway, service was attentive - total bill was about $35 before tip. We'd definitely return if we are in the area.

They also have a small dining area with a bar in the middle and a decent-sized enclosed patio. We choose to sit out on the patio. We were lucky enough to get the piano table. The restaurant, as you would guess, serves mostly seafood, but also has burgers, soups, salads, and steak. They also have an unpublished kids' menu and happy hour specials. They also have live music on weekends; luckily, we missed it. I heard that it can get loud, and we were just getting over a cruise hangover. My kids got the pasta and the steak kids' meals. I got the Snapper Sandwich. Our food was ready in less than 10 minutes and was very hot. I will say that they have large portions. Our food was ok. Nothing special. My kids did not finish their food and said that it was just mahhhhhh. My sandwich was the same. It was very greasy and not much to write home about. I also got a side of sweet plantains, and they were really good. Our server was very attentive and friendly. He was very busy and kept up with the pace. I would say that this restaurant is actually a 3.5-star joint, but since that is not an option, I will say that it is closer to a 3 than a 4 based on the food. If you are in the area and looking for some seafood, i would probably give this spot some consideration.
