We came for lunch on Sunday and the place was fairly empty. The restaurant itself is fairly casual with a handful of tables. We got the pork belly with stir fried kimchi, bulgogi bibimbap and jajang myeon. They started us off with some banchan- pickled radish, kimchi and pickled onions. Pork belly with kimchi- 1/5. The picture on the menu showed slices of thick cut pork belly. We received thin sliced pork belly that was so dry and bland it was almost inedible. The stir fried kimchi was good. Bulgogi bibimbap 5/5: my favorite dish of the three. Vegetables were well seasoned with a large variety and the bulgogi had great flavor. Jajang Myeon 4/5: tasted fairly authentic with a nice serving of sauce and noodles. Other than the pork belly, we enjoyed the meal. Other tables were also getting the kimbap which looked huge, will have to come back to try it one day.

Came here for a quick team lunch and enjoyed how cozy it was! Good: - Good portion sizes - I liked the jjajyeon noodles a lot - great texture and also huge portion size - The kimbap was good but a bit flavorless - The kimchi pancake was super tasty! - Good value and the staff were nice Bad: - Took a bit for the food to all come out - The banchan was a bit small Overall this was a cute place tucked away and would try more stuff here.

I had lunch on a Friday. We were the only table (we were a group of 7) at 12pm but by the time we left at around 1:30pm there were quite a number of tables filled. I had the pork cutlet. Though the portion was quite sizable, I found it quite salty especially with the small amount of rice included. I would recommend just serving the normal portion of rice that comes with all the other meals. My colleagues all enjoyed their meals and a few had enought leftover to take home as well (they had ordered the hot bowls of soup). The prices are very reasonable for the area. Would recommend.

10/10 neighborhood spot! We went to Lim's Kitchen for a lowkey dinner to end the weekend and had a great experience! The restaurant was spacious and clean-- there were lots of tables available. The food was great too. We had the Army Stew and Korean Fried Chicken and both were delicious. The Army Stew was flavorful, the ramen was nice and chewy, and they are generous with the sausage and spam chunks in the soup. We opted for the Soy Garlic flavor for the wings, and those were wonderful too! Super crunchy, and the perfect balance of sweet and savory. Service was super friendly at Lim's Kitchen too. I will say, they seem understaffed, especially in the front. There was one employee who was acting as the host, bussing tables, taking orders, handling the delivery orders, answering the phone, literally everything. We didn't mind because we weren't in a huge rush. Just a reminder to stay patient with small restaurants and businesses:-) Would totally return!!

I'm surprised on how not many people know about this hidden gem around the area. I would get lunch from here since it is close to wear I work and all of the times I've been here, their customer service is always nice & friendly. I personally like their squid kimbap the most. They don't skimp on the squid and it's very well seasoned. For the kimbap- they give miso soup on the side which makes it even more filling for lunch. Seating wise- there's ample amount of tables so dont worry. You'll be able to snag one even during lunch time. Would definitely come back again to try their other items on the menu. Tip: they accept card with no minimum.

Wasn't the biggest fan of the Jajangmyeon, perhaps I should've went in person (tried adding some gochugaru on top). I've seen good things of the gimbap but I didn't have a chance to order that one unfortunately-- still in search for good jajangmyeon in the city Cheers!

Tuna kimbop, rice cake with sausage, kimchi cold noodle, bibimbob, cheese stick and pickles were all very good. We had them delivered so fried dumpling was a bit soggy but still good. I would order again.

The kimchi, soft tofu stew was fantastic. Now I'm gonna try the kimchi stew which also includes pork.

From the outside it looked closed, but it's actually opened. There's seating inside but mainly people order take out from here. I went there to place my order. It didn't take that long as I decided on the bulgogi kimbap. Yes, it was delicious and it filled me up even though I didn't have any breakfast. It took me a while to decide as the menu had a lot of korean dishes that I wanted to try. I went by convenience and price point. I say to check it out if you're in the neighborhood.

I must've come on a really off day because my experience was mediocre at best, and the way that some of the banchan looked, it did not feel authentic at all. Personally, I feel like there's much better Korean food in the city (though I liked that this place is closer to me than ktown). Our kimchi fried rice also came with absolutely no spam (lol), but the server was pretty nice about it and switched it out. My biggest ick was that it smelled strongly of some weird chemicals inside the restaurant, and the smell clung onto my clothing even hours after coming home (my friends all agreed). The only thing we really appreciated was how nice the server was, who always made sure our water and side dishes were full.

My friends and I came by for lunch on a Saturday as the restaurant just opened for the day so we were seated right away. We ordered a few different dishes to share: a pancake, fried chicken and jajangmyun. The fried chicken was very good, but I think the jajangmyun had a lot of onions on top. Overall we enjoyed the food at the restaurant and it is a cozy place.

Two way fried chicken and wings with sauce on the side. Bibimbap, kimchi... pickle daikons.

We stayed at a hotel nearby and wanted to order some takeout. Gave this place a try as it has good Yelp review. Took some time to wait for the food, but we didn't mind. That told us that they are not premade the food and reheating them. Wow, we like everything we ordered. The dinner area is very clean, too! And the gentleman who helped us was very polite! Like the other reviewer said, this is a hidden gem, if you are in the neighborhood, go taste it yourself!

The effortless tranquility encourages you to slow down, enjoy the food, and get away from the everyday, hubbub. Their menu leans into fusion dishes with a nod to some of the classic home-style classics. Everything is presented with a refined, elevated touch. Here's what we ordered: ~ Tako Wasabi - 5/5 stars A fiery delight. This appetizer feartures chopped raw octopus marinated in wasabi. It has a lively zest from the wasabi and is topped with tobiko, which adds a pleasant contrast in texture. ~ Honey Makgeolli - 4/5 stars A traditional fermented Korean beverage that is light and pairs brilliantly with your meal. It is a cloudy alcholoic drink served in a metal teapot, and surprisingly, there is much more in that teapot than you would expect. It easily provides six to eight generous pours. The flavor is subtly sweet with a pleasant tang. ~ Temaki Set - 4/5 stars You can order a set of three by choosing from selections 1-17, or you can order a la carte at the listed prices. Some of the temaki stood out more than others. Our two sets included marinated salmon, bluefin tuna, spicy yellowtail, spicy bluefin, and two dynamite temaki. ~ Spicky Pork Ssam Set - 5/5 stars Truly another standout entree that even surpassed my beloved grilled BBQ bossam. You received a generous basket of assorte greens, including romaine, kale, perilla leaves, dandelion leaves, nappa cabbage, and more. It is well worth the price and makes for a fun, interactive dining experience with your family and friends. There is also various banchan offered and this time, they were beyond kind enough to offer refills. The last time we were here, we ordered just as much food and they stated they normally did not offer refills, which I thought was very odd. With its casual bougie aesthetics, this spot has quickly become one of my favorite eateries in Fort Lee-lee, It beautifully blends Korean, Japanese, and American flavors in a way that feels both comforting and elevated. Needless to say, we will be back!

We walked into a stylish but relaxed space that feels suited for both casual dinners and a night out with friends, with an atmosphere that balances energy and comfort well. The room gets lively when it fills up, but the noise level adds to the experience rather than detracting from it, making it feel like a place built for sharing and conversation. The food is where Hojokban stands out. The complimentary banchan sets the tone for the meal with flavorful sides that add variety before the main dishes arrive, each one thoughtfully prepared and offering a different texture or flavor profile. The gomtang soup is one of the more comforting options, bringing together tender meat, a rich broth, and classic Korean flavors in a way that feels hearty without being overly heavy. The galbi dishes are also a highlight, with the meat cooked well and carrying the sweet and savory balance that makes Korean-style grilled beef so enjoyable. The portions are generous, and the quality of the ingredients is noticeable across the board. The menu has several unique dishes worth exploring. The truffle potato pancake is one of the more memorable items, combining a familiar Korean staple with a richer, modern twist that adds depth without losing the essence of the original. The perilla oil noodles are another standout, offering a lighter but still flavorful option with a distinct nutty aroma that lingers on the palate. The beef tartare adds a more refined element to the meal, fresh and well seasoned, while dishes like the ramyun fried rice bring a fun comfort food element with bold, savory flavors. Together, the menu covers enough ground that you can build a meal around both familiar favorites and more creative choices. Service is friendly and the overall experience feels welcoming rather than overly formal. The staff are attentive without hovering, and they handle the busy flow of the restaurant with a pace that keeps the meal moving without feeling rushed. The menu is designed for sharing, and the portions make it easy to order several dishes across the table, allowing you to try more of what the kitchen has to offer. The lively atmosphere adds to the meal, making it a good fit for group dinners where the energy of the room matches the pace of the food. Hojokban does a good job blending traditional Korean flavors with a more modern dining experience. It is a place where you can come for familiar comfort food while still finding dishes that feel creative and different. If you enjoy Korean cuisine and want a restaurant with a little more personality, this is a spot worth checking out. It delivers a meal that feels both familiar and fresh, striking a balance that makes it easy to return to and explore more of the menu.

There is foie gras in it which maybe be in a little overpowering for some people but I really enjoyed it I could easily eat a whole bowl of their freshly made kimchi. It was perfect. Not too salty or spicy or fermented. Literally perfect!!! I actually asked for seconds. The cold cucumber broth was really refreshing Highly, highly recommend making a resy!! Deff a classy establishment

The food at Moono was excellent, and the overall vibe was beautiful. The service was attentive and…read morefriendly throughout our meal. There were just a couple of things that kept this from being a full 5 stars. My 5 year old was required to order an entrée. We were planning to order one anyway, but I still found it a bit unusual. I also requested a birthday candle with dessert for our celebration when I made a reservation, but unfortunately the request wasn't acknowledged. Despite those minor disappointments, we had a wonderful experience. The food and service really stood out, and I would definitely bring visiting friends and family here. I'd happily return again 4.5/5.
