To make matters worse, she was also quoted an exorbitant fee for the replacement of an air filter--an extremely simple task that typically takes no more than two minutes to complete. It's disheartening to see what appears to be a clear case of opportunistic overcharging, possibly based on the assumption that a woman wouldn't question the pricing. Shame on you. Actions like this erode trust and reflect poorly on your business. While karma has a way of addressing injustices in due time, the immediate consequence is that you have lost a long-standing customer--someone who had been loyal to your establishment for years.

The coolant leak is from an auxiliary radiator. I drive a CTS-V, so its not your basic cooling system. They were honest with me and said they have never changed that system on a V and wouldn't feel comfortable doing so. They could have easily just winged it just to get my money. But, they were honest about it and didn't even charge me for diagnosing the issue since they couldn't work on it. Definitely taking my other cars here when they need something.

They are honest and, in my opinion, absolutely number one. They have always been more than fair in pricing, but even more than that, they have always been straightforward with my vehicles have never pressured me to do anything that I didn't feel was necessary. They've always been good to give me a plan for what might need attention down the road, but never tried to sell me on service I didn't need. Never once have I ever felt like I've been taken advantage of. That goes the same for my wife. I have a classic 1997 Ford F150 and about four years ago I got some brake-work done by another mechanic in town. When I got the vehicle back, the brakes were worse than before! After going back multiple times to make it right, I finally washed my hands and walked away. I went to TWO other recommended mechanics after that to tried to get the situation correctly diagnosed and resolved. Both places said nothing was wrong even after a test drive with me in the vehicle each time. I started to think that it was just the fact that my truck was older. But after going to honest-1 for other things like oil changes and some engine work, I told them about my brakes situation. They took a look and found the problem in no time. Sergio answered the phone and told me yes he would be waiting for it to arrive and would have a diagnosis for me the next morning. True to his word he called me- told me parts that needed to be replaced, gave me a price that was extremely fair and said they would have it ready the next day. I had told him the car was in an accident last year and I was still dealing with the lawyer so I'm not trying to spend a bunch of money fixing up everything brand new on a vehicle I don't plan to keep. Sergio was understanding of that and stated exactly what needed to do to get it safe & drivable. In the past, I've gone another places where they do less work and take almost a week. The next day they contacted me about an hour before they closed, so I let them know I would have to wait until the next morning to come get it. I like that every time I called I spoke to Sergio. It kept communication very clear and consistent. when I picked up my car, he was very nice and got me rolling really quickly quickly. I drove to the gas station and I noticed a noise I drove back to him, they put it on the riser for me. he showed me what was making the noise and that it is from normal wear and tear similar to the parts we just replaced on the other side. He said we can get to it when I'm ready because he knows I didn't want to keep spending a bunch of money on the car. He assured my safety driving and was very honest about what I would still need to get done on the car. I feel very confident in the work that they did and I've been driving my car now for three days with no issues on the side that they repaired. It also comes with a one-year warranty of parts and labor. As a woman walking into a shop alone, I don't feel ripped off. I feel like they were being very honest, and I spoke to people in the automotive business who assured me I got a damn good price!

Your best option is now Roma Autorepair, in Mason Dr, very close to I-10, so it is quite close to where Mason Auto is.
