I was on the phone with her company reporting the incident. Under Oregon law, it's illegal to block someone's personal driveway or parking spot. And I've been to a lot of them in many urban and rural areas. Excellent. The gentlemen we had were friendly and took care of all of our luggage. The company has great communication. We were scheduled to be picked up at 4:45am but at around 9pm the night before I started getting nervous that we should leave a few minutes earlier, so I sent them an email asking if we could leave at 4:30am instead, really not expecting anyone to respond in time. They actually emailed me back within 10 minutes and confirmed the earlier pick-up time. Then, our return flight landed at PDX (an unheard of!) 40 minutes early. As soon as we touched down I texted the number to see if there would be any way someone could come pick us up for 40 minutes earlier than planned, again not necessarily expecting a response - especially since it was close to midnight. However, they texted me back instantly that my driver would be in touch with me soon, and sure enough our driver texted me within a few minutes. By the time we grabbed our suitcases off of the conveyor and walked a few minutes to the curb, our driver was already there and waiting despite us being 40 minutes early - and, again, it was close to midnight on a Wednesday. Mini Van was very nice, a upper end model of a Toyota Mini Van. Interior was very clean and did NOT have any fragrances to mask any mysterious smells. Ride from Nye Beach to Local Ocean Seafood was about $8.00 before tip I think, either way, it's the smart way to go out for the evening. Our driver was very safe and knew the roads well. I texted Charity after dinner and she arrived in 15 minutes. This was a Sunday night, off season, so I can't guarantee you will get the same prompt service. They are in my phone and we will use them again when visiting Newport, Oregon.
